Please i need advice

what was wfitten on your denial form.. there is a section code written.
i hope u hvnt mis represented in the past?
invitations arent worth jack sh,it , if you ask me.
demonstarting strong ties to nigeria is the biggest game changer

@Adeneyagrofeeds:
its strange for someone with canadian visa to be denied usa visa.
i think you shoud hv listened to the explanation she was saying for not issuing u the visa.

3rdly the marriage question she asked twice...i hope nothing is strange/fishy about your marriage
again if you are married...going away for 3 wks on some random visit leaving your family behind dey somehow to westerners.
it would have been better if it was a training.

would advice you to wait minimum of 3months and reapply again...with your family
the next best option is to choose a 10 day visit or max 2wks

@house...having problems paying for us visa tru gt bank, even the bank staff said server is down when i went physically...is there a work around?

Not everyone will be eligible for a us visa. You might be one of the few. Save your money.

The VOs treat each case in isolation & the general perception is that every applicant is a potential "immigrant"... So they need you to convince them that you have it good here, won't leave your otherwise settled life to become an illegal immigrant & overburden their system....

That's why it's hard for corpers, unmarried people & folks perceived to not be doing so well here to be granted visas cos they are more likely to just go for broke & miss the return flight....

The assumption that People are denied visas on the day of interview is not true in every situation, most people already missed it from the details filled in their forms.... So they will keep dashing US the Visa fees cos nothing changed about their "circumstances"...

I'm married for real but what I think is that she's not satisfied with my info. I returned from Canada last and within last year and now, I got married, had kid, own a company and account is not bad. She's wondering how come all that happen within that period. So will I lie on my profile?

I can help with a little light. Some of us can read in-between but you will see response from the surface. Why? Because it is a faceless forum. Humans can not detect bad intentions with 100% assurance and same goes for the VOs. However, lies comes with one or more loose nuts. That is what the VOs look out for not your English or expression.

Another observation: Silent readers of this thread seems to get their visa approved than those who bring there circumstance and stories for validation. Did any body else noticed?

good day guys
Please i have some questions i need clarifications on
1..i tried picking an appointment date for 3 times unsuccessfully because of work distractions but when i tried the 3rd time, the page told me i had a limited time to access the page, please does this mean that i have a number of times i can visit that page before i forfeit my visa application fee?

2..while and when filling my DS160 form, i chose lagos as my choice venue for visa interview but i wish to change that now due to some reasons,if i schedule an interview for Abuja, will it be accepted, would there be issues since my DS160 FORM i.d is lagos's
Thanks in aanticipation

Please I'd like to start processing my vist visa, am running my Nysc, although i have had working experience, i have a family friend she's an American, and also my elder sister lives there both ready to fund my ticket etc , who do i ask to send a letter or who do I include during my application, and how do I prove my strong ties in Nigeria since I would just be finishing my Nysc. And for a vist visa is it still $160. Thank

True, I was a silent reader for three months, I had my interview on the 19th of September ,
Questions from V0
Vo: good day, where are you heading to
Me: Atlanta for a Bleep conference
VO: what do you do?
ME: I’m a XXXX at XXXX
VO: what would the conference add to you, what is the conference all about?
ME: I explained
VO: what do you do again
Me: I mentioned my position
VO: Can I see the invite?
Me: I showed her and showed the letter to the embassy, and my tickets.
VO: have you traveled outside Africa?
ME: yes to India
VO: why why you given an x entry visa
ME: Explained what is and why I was given
VO: who sponsored your trip to India
Me: Company
VO: how long did you spend in India
ME: 8 months
Vo: alright I’m gonna approve you, come pick your passport in 3 days

Thing is, most times, you just have to do your homework, pray to God. And more importantly DO YOUR HOMEWORK, and be HONEST. There’s no need lying, it doesn’t help your application.

Another thing I noticed, a particular VO asked why was everyone saying they travelled to Dubai, Kenya, Togo, Ghana, is there something we don’t know about those places.

She then started asking “have you traveled to any other place out of Africa?”

I believe it’s coz people forged visa and it’s easy to visit this places

Sometimes people ask questions here mostly coz they don’t believe in what they are doing, they need validation.

At POE, just asked me what I was coming to do and I mentioned I was going for a conference, stamped me in for six months.

Good day madam,
Do you have travel history? (Out of Africa?).
From the little data you have provided, it seems you demonstrate more ties to the US than to Nigeria.
Read the thread and self-evaluate before you pay the $160.

lol am not demonstrating more ties to the US, i only asked because since most questions here are for those working not for someone in my own shoes, i don't have any travel history out of Africa , just one neighboring country close to Nigeria, my passport isn't virgin has i have stamped on it while crossing the border. And I do plan on starting my visa process immediately after my passing out from Nysc this year, what are my chances, although am only going for a vist to be back for my Law school program . Thanks

My first application

Okay. Give it some time before reapplying. Next year annual leave.
If you have the time now, the funds and still want a vacation, you could go visit some place else. Consider a shorter trip and whether with it being shorter, you can take madam and baby along.

1. No documents will be checked. If they are required, you will be told to bring them at a later date.
2. Better to put your relative, but if she got in illegally, it will reflect badly on you.

Your disadvantages far outweighs your advantages. What "un-abandonable" ties do you have to Nigeria? Compare that then to having a major tie in the US in the person of your sibling, then boom. Your travel history for your kind of circumstance isn't good I must tell you....

I still have my law school to come back to, that's also a tie to Nigeria, am not going to abandon that lol. Hmmm well regarding the traveling history I guess I shldnt bother to apply anymore since my chances are slim right? Is that what you sayin
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 2 by Nobody: 3:42pm On Oct 08, 2017
Yesbody:

1. I have 7million naira in my account
2. I work with a multinational company
3. My salary is 205k per month
4. My wife is self employed she own a big shop
5. She makes about 150k per month
6. She has 9 employees and 3 apprentice in her shop
7. We have a daughter 3 years old
8. We have two cars and we are building our house
9. We want to travel to the US for vacation (Chicago)
10. We intend to spend 15day

If you were the VO at the American Embassy, would you approve my Visa ? Be honest

The point is this.

THE VO will not need all the above information to make a decision.

Only the important questions like

1. Have you traveled out of the country as a family before
2. How much is your salary?
3. What is your budget for the trip?

I guess you'd fail the three questions. Reason is simple. You and your wife earn way too little in the opinion.

How can you have 9 staffs and make N150,000
How do you have a saving of N7m on a N205K salary?

Reevaluate dear. Reevaluate.
