And the shallow minded have been giving you nightmares by buying up all your lands and building mansions. Why are the Hausa's and Yoruba's so jealous of the so called shallow minded people?

Buying up which land?
You guys are so shallow in your thinking that you always take for granted peoples hospitality.
The Comfort you enjoy outside your eastern enclave is what you can not get back in the east.

You people have taken over from the Abokis and so you are free to show up your new found glory of shallowness.
Enjoy!

The so called vaccination is not necessary because there's no ongoing vaccination currently done by the ministry of health, Nigeria army doesn't have any right to give vaccine to any kid without the consent of their parents
Did you read the article at all? Where was it stated that the military is carrying out any vaccination? The Army had stated repeatedly that they are not carrying out any vaccination and the people running with being pursued hasn't provided any evidence of anyone being vaccinated.

Sad.

In the land of illiterates, any rumour is considered the truth. Especially when the password" Buhari" is added to such rumour.

I am still wondering who started these rumour?what a lot of people don't know, is that there are more Medical Doctors and Nurses in the Military than even the Ministry of Health, and that is why it is laughable and almost comical when I hear the question ARE THE MILITARY trained to give vaccination?

The hate for the President by a sector of the Country will never make them see good in anything this Government does.

Nobody is vaccinating anybody with any bad substance.

Please what specific ailment or preventable diseases is the vaccination targeting. This is important for knowledge sharing and dispel the rumour been bandied about.
Thank you

In your mind you are educated, but from where I stand, u are so ignorant! I have watched u talk from the point of willful ignorance in this thread!
First, Vaccination is a primary level of prevention in public health. On that stage, the health services of the local government and primary health care workers handle vaccination. Am sure u have seen them walking around with their equipments, appropriate forms and chalks marking houses and schools vaccinated. If there is need for any form of vaccination in an epidemic situation those people are first engaged, cos they belong to the community, speak the language of the community and know their way around the community therefore making the process efficient. Now if those health workers and phc level caregivers are overwhelmed in an epidemic, you call in the paramilitary first and military in that order(according to your american standpoint). First of all, there is no epidemic in the southeast... Even if there is, the health services of the local government and phc centers, including health workers of community medicine of the secondary health care and referral hospitals in the states and communities have not even been engaged. Second, you don't engage on such venture without a proper community entry. Community entry is very important in public health! Even the best health programmes in advanced countries fail without a proper community entry. The Army didn't do a community entry and they expect successful outcomes. The response of the people of the southeast is in order... Actually, I would have queried their health consciousness if their response wasn't so, considering the shabby way such a health programme was handled by the military.

You are quite right.

Whats this vaccination all about?……….what are they vaccinating against or for?

Its wrong for the army to just visit schools and start injecting kids with unknown drugs

is this a plan to reduce our people…………………northern Nigeria is with all the known and unknown deceases, Buhari can send his killer squad to his people or they visit general hospitals to treat the very old without means of paying their bills.

Enough of this rubbish by Buhari and APC wicked group

Do you have evidence of anyone vaccinated by the Army? Do have evidence of the Army going around the schools forcing people and children to take compulsory treatment?
Do you know anyone that have died as a result of the Army's free treatment?
Do you have evidence that immunization is part of the medical outreach?
All these lies about immunization will not do enough to save face from the shameful display of ignorance by those folks who could be easily deceived by a mere rumor that negates every principle of common sense.

The president started his hate regime with +97% n - 5%...

He also lived up to his promises on that.

He went as far as sending soldiers to kill civilians in that section of the country and 2 week later he comes with free vaccination.

That region is simply reciprocating.

The simple question which continued to bamboozle and flaggerbast me is this: if this free medication is for the benefit of children, why is the North not also enjoying it and why are the northerners who are so quick to cry foul, not screaming marginalisation?

My brother, without coming to a conclusion about the intent behind this immunisation, let me ask u a simple question:
Someone came to ur house and murdered some of ur family members today. Tomorrow, that same someone abi person who has been beating his chest to deal with u, comes to ur house telling u he wants to give u food. Tell me, brother, how wld u view such an act of such person?

Paranoid sets of people.

FYI illiterates; you don't have to be sick to get vaccines, vaccination also prevents sickness.

If the military wants to kill school children, they won't use such an obvious route.

Expectedly, hours later, the authority of the 82 Division of the Nigerian Army, Enugu, issued a public statement, describing the rumour that triggered the pandemonium as a wicked lie and complete blackmail. The military explained that the free medical outreach was part of the Operation Python Dance II (Egwueke).

When they said they were coming to the South East for Operation Python dance, they came with AK-47s and killed unarmed citizens. When they noticed the outcry from the South Easterners had been noticed by the UN and International Human Rights organizations, their blood-sucking commander-in-mischief strategized and felt biological warfare would be better all in the name of immunizations. We the people of the South East do not need their useless immunization. If any fool has a problem with our stand, the person should take their own children to the army for immunization.

The free medical outreach was part of operation python dance 2 and it was so announced right from the onset.
It is not the first time the Army has conducted operations in the country, neither is it the first time the Army is carrying out free medical programme.
Leave parochial sentiments, was the baseless allegations true or not. Was there evidence to support the allegations?
All these excuses about immunization cannot justify or cover the shame of a people so gullible to believe a baseless, malicious rumour laced with innate hatred.
