yvelchstores:Thank you for posting . Please call Channels TV, AIT and NTA and any other news media so this news is widely disseminated. I'm sure someone on this forum will be able to provide their numbers. The wahala in Nigeria is enough as it is: we don't need this as well. |

All these Chinese companies with no name or sign post in front of their building are responsible for this.If not because we've been electing useless leaders, we wouldn't have been in this mess. |

ipobarecriminals:This is one of the reasons why this country will never grow, whether she bought 10 for 50 naira or not the problem is people will eat this thing and develop a new kind of disease we haven't heard about. Instead of posting what doesn't make sense, why not push this post to the appropriate quarters? |

The cost of making a so-called fake egg is more than the cost of actually farming a chicken to produce real eggs... It's possible that either you did not cook the eggs properly or the egg is diseased |

yvelchstores:Fake egg kwa... Its either its an egg or it's not.. Probably has a lot to do with d kind of feeds and treatment dey giv to chickens these days considering d numerous poultries springing up here and there. Some breeds dis days even come with 2 yokes in an egg. I'll strongly suggest u do some research and/or allow professionals carry out tests before dis thing blows out of proportion |

Do you know how fragile an egg is that someone would now sit down to manufacture a fake egg. Kai You want to make fake shell, make fake yoke and fake egg white too. Chai The egg has stayed long in the place it was stored.

I gave up on the world when a lady tried selling powdered egg to us at surulere, someone gave her pot and stove she added water to the powder added a pinch of salt and pepper fried it, it looked like eggs, smelt like eggs, in fact u can't believe it's not real eggs, just 1 sachet can feed two adults, she ran away when the boys there wanted to beat her for selling it. For more than a week I kept trying to understand how eggs could be made to powder form |

yvelchstores:First...buy more of the eggs... then make a report to the top police in your area... and any other agency... your governor...NGO's.... and TV Station taking samples with you. Local police alone will not do ...no doubt they will find the source and guess what is likely to happen? Try to get it on national news...there must be a serious crackdown. |

OP.. Nothing is wrong with the egg you posted I don't really see the economic importance of faking eggs. I know if you see an egg with 3 yokes, you will run away from your house lol Seriously you bought a good quality egg. |

yvelchstores:You are absolutely right about the fact that they are improving on the product. The ones I bought last two months, when you break it, the yolk and albumen mix together. That was what made me suspect that something was wrong. They don't smell like eggs and the inner silky covering on the shell was thicker than normal and you can literally pull it along just like in the picture you posted. We just have to be careful... Its sickening thinking of what those substances could be and how it may affect the organs since I think it may be chemicals. May God continue to protect us. |
