Discouraging people from applying to community colleges is very wrong. Not everyone is interested in going for their masters,people have their different reasons for going to study in the US. Someone with WAEC should be encouraged to go for an associate degree and graduate in 2 yeas, there are lots of job opportunities for associate degree holders.

This shows you have no idea of all you've been saying. Even with a higher degree, labor market is very tight for foreigners. Unless you are talking about another US elsewhere. Asso degree holder stands no chance in U.S market unless you've an ADN and have work permit or visa, a resident or a citizen. As an international student, you can only use it to continue your studies in a 4 year school. Those Nigerians you see attending CC are using it as an alternative route so that they don't fall out of status while they getting their feet on ground.

Actually having sponsor in U.S has a downside too. What's your tie to Nigeria? I will worry about this question but not the state your sponsor resides.

What about my parents and siblings who are in Nigeria, could they proof I have strong ties to home,if yes is there any document (or documents) that can show this.

King Solo, just so you know, the school in question is one of the most recognized public universities in the state it's located in.

If I disclosed the name of the School want you want to do?

If you have any idea or solution I'm sure you can make it known considering I've already disclosed that I ve been in touch with them severally.

How do you expect a doctor to treat a patient if they don't have the idea of what's happening to that patient?

You probably posted it here seeking for solution or advice, so how do you expect the experienced one to help you out without telling them the name of the school? Huh?

Lastly, you applied to a school and didn't get any response for 3 months and still waiting for them.

FYI, I applied to 3 schools and the 3 gave me admission with merit Scholarship..
So, you see that you are doing yourself kiss

Anyway, I've actually helped in contacting the elders in your Village to free you.. grin

Thanks Sis, at least someone understands my desire to maintain some level of discretion (even if it seems it's s unnecessary).

I already said the school hasn't responded to my application and it looks like it has taken longer than It should. I went further to state that it's a known public university; which makes me wonder why these guys are saying it's a bleep school( I suspect the word "bleep" sounds too nice coming from them) For the second time they fail to read between the lines.

Which other info do they need to give suggestions on what I should do?
