See Aguero who people will call one of the best strikers has missed more chances than Lukaku despite being out for a while because of rib injury he got from an accident

DO you guys think if Lukaku was in City to be tapping in goals, he wont have more than the number of goals he has? a top strikers scoring rate is usually about 30% meaning for every 3 clear cut chance they score 1

That means you need to give him more, Not expect him to score 2 out of 2
Exactly

See another one

Romelu Lukaku - 8

He didn't score, but he still had a fine game and his muscular presence up-front laid the foundations for Jesse Lingard's success. Made the second goal, winning the ball and playing in Martial with an inch-perfect through-ball.

But this Lukaku wey everybody wan dy flog now, I thought we all knew his weaknesses that he wasn't that technical player before he was bought or are you guys expecting him to develop that in 14games?
Funny people full here.
My only problem is I don't want to see him outside the 18yard anymore but in Mou's system, the striker gatz work too that's why I feel the goal has dropped. Earlier he was almost always in the opponents box but now u see him close to midfield to collect the ball from Pogba or Matic which I don't feel too comfortable wit. ThankGod others players are taking responsibilities in goalscoring too.

Just one clear cut chance more than Salah. How many goals separate them? If he scores that one clear-cut chance will they be on same goals? Gabriel Jesus as scored more goals than Lukaku, has missed more clear cut chances but with 500 minutes of play less than Lukaku. What does that say about the number of chances he gets per match played? All of the others probably have lesser minutes than Lukaku but have seen more chances than him yet no significant difference in number of goals and assists.
Salah has 12 goals and Lukaku has 8. You see gap. Meanwhile look below to understand the chances created for EPL players

Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by elampiro(m): 9:56pm On Dec 03, 2017
Shots taken every 90 minutes (chances received every 90 mins)

This is for those who didn't understand the per minutes stats

I will post player rating analysis from different sites for the benefit of the clowns here who know next to nothing about football.

1. http://www.football.london/west-ham-united-fc/fixtures-results/man-city-west-ham-adrian-13988949

Diafra Sakho (for Kouyate, 42') - 8
Always offered an outlet throughout his time on the pitch and
looked a real handful for Mangala and Otamendi to deal with.
Didn't really have any clear cut chances of his own but his
work rate was absolutely phenomenal. That was until he
spurned a massive chance in injury time from Arnautovic's
pull-back which would have earned the Hammers a point.

2. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-5141507/Manchester-City-2-1-West-Ham-PLAYER-RATINGS.html

Diafra Sakho (for Kouyate, 43) - 6.5
Gave Mangala and Otamendi problems up front.

When I wrote that some people here can't analyse football properly, it was not an insult....just a FACT!
Exactly my observation.

Those guys arguing with us after City vs West Ham match need to be flogged. Dem no sabi watch ball

You are mentioning Sallah why not Aguero Jesus Morata lacazette these are top strikers for top 6 clubs and how do they compare to Lukaku

Which stats showed that Lukaku get more chances than Kane Aguero Lacazette Morata and others
I am not sure you read what I wrote. Lukaku missed more CLEAR CUT CHANCES than Kane. He missed same region as Aguero, Lacazette and Morata. They all outscored him.

raumdeuter:
Lukaku is made to do more work than all these Kane Aguero Lacazette Jesus and Morata. Most of the time they are in the box waiting to pounce whle Lukaku is expected to be in the half way line, on the right wing, on the left wing even in defence
In the beginning of the season, Lukaku enjoyed staying in the box. He was not playing at half line. Even against Huddersfield, he played in the box. He has only played at half line against Chelsea, Arsenal and a few other teams.

Kane, Salah, Lacazette also drop to half line

Statistics show these strikers get almost same number of chances per 90 minutes. Aguero has scored more goals than Lukaku. Same with Salah. If you watch some of the goals of these guys, you see hardwork before they score. Sometimes they beat their markers to score. But Lukaku just want to be fed.

Give him the ball to outpace his marker, he runs into touchline, same position Salah would leave two markers behind.

Set him free to run from outside the box into it, he takes a heavy touch the allows the keeper the advantage, same position Aguero would beat the keeper.

Cause trouble to defenders like Sakho did today, he would not be seen except the ball mistakenly lands on him.

Any chance. A chance is created when a shot is taken.

Big chance or Clear cut chance is when a player is reasinably should score. Like when one vs one with keeper or free header at close rage or tap in.

It doesn't. You guys said other strikers have 3X the chances of Lukaku. Then I proved you guys wrong.

If you notice, I never had problems with Lukaku not scoring, his mediocre play as a big striker striker the issue.

He mentioned Salah first.

But to respond to you, Aguero, Morata, etc are currently outscoring Lukaku. Some of them have goals every 84 minutes or 90 minutes. Lukaku has every 160 minutes.

Then people said other gets 3 chances to score a goal. That Lukaku gets half chance to score.

I dug deep, I saw they all have same number of chances he to score. The other guys have not missed more big chances than Lukaku.

I thought I was going to see Aguero has missed 20 big chances, Salah 25 big chances, Lukaku 0 big chance.

OK it's no more about his goals but his link up? Do you know he wins more aerials than other top strikers in the league? Do you know none of them have more assists than him despite playing in a more attacking team and him having to operate more from deep?

What is their goals per minutes? Lukaku is scoring one goal in two matches while Aguero is scoring one goal in one match. Aguero sometimes beat a man to create shooting space. Lukaku doesn't do that.

Who doesn't miss a chance, Lukaku has been missing one vs one. He made us to drop points in two or three matches.

They have missed the same number of big chances but they still have goals more than him. Does this not tell you about the number and quality of chances others have gotten?

SInce you are trying to prove that Lukaku misses more than them, What is the miss per minute?

Lukaku hasnt missed any game this season so if he has the same number of miss as Lacazatte that means Lacazette has been more wasteful

Aguero stays in the box, Lacazette stays in the box Morata is the arrowhead f the chelsea attack and many chances fall to him

Lukaku doesnt get many chances. in the last 3 games of Man Utd how many chances has Lukaku got?

I can only remember one header, the miss vs Watford thats it

He wins 3.5 headers per 90 minutes out of 7.1, and defensive clearance from corner kicks adds to his stats.

How many Assists? Against Watford, when he didn't get goal to score, he started dropping deep to involve in play.

Do you know Aguero has not scored from open play in the league since September 23. His 3 goals since then have been from the spot. That is over 2 months of not scoring from open play in a team like Man City where they create chances anyhow and he stays in the box
