Yes, we earn a good amount annually from the property. Thanks for your response.

LadyGuinivere:

There is no place that requires that information.
If it's not in the form, don't create your own question. It could irritate and be read as desperation
Or do you earn money from the house?
Shebi u know that a house is not a strong tie?

Lol. I'm actually really laughing. It's good to know other folks apart from me have been seeing the changes in story.

@poster. Oya o! The same vos when Una go face haff answer u o. Please post the next transcript when Una go finish. I Love good sequel movies

This format has come up here more than enough times. There was once a guy who wanted to travel with his "Church Elder" and present his church's account statements for his interview who kept spamming the thread. His was the original template. The others are add-ons and remixes of the same story, just much more elaborate.

People wonder why my difficult posts... well this!

Many Nigerians are selfish and myopic, folks think the end justifies the means. All they care about is “my visa”, by hook or crook. You don’t realize that every lie, every misrepresentation, every act of fraud, makes it that much harder for the genuine applicant. Or perhaps you realize it, but just couldn’t give a damn. This is horribly unfair. It took one shoe bomber to ensure we all now have to take off our shoes at every US airport. It takes just one fraudulent marriage to ensure VOs now require tons of evidence to believe every other married couple, genuine or not.

I don’t believe in encouraging folks who have ever misrepresented to simply “own up” and try again. They should simply stay in their country. Regardless of what you think about forgiveness, you should not be able to get away with making visa applications harder for everyone else.

Her story is laced with Too much lies I had to struggle to understand it (still don't fully get it) .

The annoying thing is they are very unrepentant. I think they consider readers foolish that's why Hy they just write anything that hits their brains.

I remember someone said they went to the consulate for interview and "they were not using Visas today. They were denying everybody" she went for the interview based on lies. All documents she took there, her friend told me she "runs-ed" and the visa fee she borrowed. What she filled in her forms was totally in divergent from what she was saying at the interview. Of course she was denied.

When I went for mine, all 6 applicants before me were all denied. But I got mine. You could hear the lies and inconsistency. I would have denied them too if I was the vo. It's so sad the things people do out of desperation.

On this very matter, this "priest" "friend's husband" and "husband" should start by asking the God he serves for forgiveness then take the necessary steps to correct it.

AND I ALWAYS SAY THIS TO PEOPLE: DON'T ATTEMPT TO STAY AS AN ILLEGAL ANYWHERE, NOT EVEN IN AMERICA

Not in a good frame of mind now to talk about people's senselessness please... Lost My aunt who is like a mum to me this morning. Let me continue mourning

Nooooooooo,I earn 79k which I wrote there and a 1.5m bank balance, how ll I convince the VO to check my statement.
Fyorgyn:

I honestly don't know if 1.5m is enough to sponsor a trip to the US for four adults! It may not even cover the cost of tickets.

Ma'am, kindly access yourself first before anyone access you. Do you think you are qualified ? I'm sure if you have gone through the thread from part one you would have evaluated yourself.

The truth is staring at you yet you are waiting for someone to tell you.

Sorry, only the VO can say.

Again, what do I know. #emabinu

2. What is your travel history? Have you travelled out of the country before?

As of 18th November, 2017, he used the name of the other woman as being married to her.

Now, less than a month, he saw your friend that came back from the US and they courted probably for few days and already paid her bride price. That's REALLY very strange. And he's about to be ordained a priest.

Savings of 1.5M , earning 79k. How long did it take you to save 1.5m? So you mean you will spend your whole savings for years on a 10day pleasure and then start all over again? The VOs don't need to check your bank statement, self evaluate your self and maybe assume the VOs believe your account balance story , hmmmm bros/sis, "the obvious is obviously obvious"

Why people refuse to self analyse with an objective mind amazes me.

Oh ok... you were giving us your story in bits. So this is a summary of your query- correct me if I'm wrong

Your uncle in the US is celebrating his wedding anniversary. He invited you and three other relatives for the the anniversary and gave each of you letters. Now you applied independently of each other and have different interview dates.

You work as a senior accountant in the civil service and earn 79k monthly. However, you've been able to save 1.5m.

Basically you have 2 questions
1. Does it matter that he invited three other people... will it affect you in any way?
2. How do you convince the VO that you can afford the trip?

If I'm right... here's what I think

No one can tell you your chances of getting a visa.

Every individual is interviewed on their own merit. That's why a father and son will be interviewed and the father gets a visa but the son does not.

The most important thing is to show the VO that you have very strong ties in Nigeria. It could be your job, family etc.

All the best

Applicant asks:

Ayat1209:
Hello VO, I have an issue. On my DS 160 confirmation print out, I have Abuja as the selected location instead of Lagos, my interview is scheduled to hold in Lagos on 20th... Please how to I go about changing the Abuja on the on the ds 160 confirmation page to lagos. Because I don't want trouble when I get to the embassy... Please, help out.

And you reply:

djfrancis:
I once had this issue but I still had my interview without any problem at all. They would effect the change when you get there

But i somehow think that's a very dangerous curve you are asking the applicant to approach in my estimation. Kindly state in clearer terms how this works please. For me, I will suggest he fills another form selecting Lagos as interview venue, and update profile on the CGI portal with the new DS160 form number and print afresh an appointment as well as DS160 confirmation page, just to 'jejelly' avoid "stories that may touch". Regards....

Oops. You unwittingly gave yourself away there.

Your story is quite an interesting one, here is a "priest" faithfully studying to be ordained yet moving from one woman to the other faster than a sinner. Please ignore the advice of everyone here, i encourage him to apply for the visa... all he needs to do is fast and pray for "favor" and "mercy" to fall on him. There is nothing the Nigerian "god" cannot do.
May sense fall on the priest... grin

Going for a wedding anniversary, never travelled before (a virgin passport)

1. You know you are going with the intention of not returning.

2. You already know you won't get the visa but you want someone to lie to you tha you would just to encourage.

3. You know very well that trip adds nothing to you.

4. You already accessed yourself and you know your chances are very slim.

5. Don't test God's unnecessarily ( remember the guy that entered the lion's cage because he felt he had Faith and trusted God's grace here in Nigeria? Lion chop am clean mouth!). Be wise. Forget those things pastors say in churches. Even they don't believe it. (I'm sure you know Pastors get denied Visas too)

Solution:

1. Save your 64k.

2. Apply to South Africa ( that place actually looks like Europe)

3. Don't be desperate.
