Hahaha, this is what you get when you tell people the truth, leave me and my belief system, you are not the owner of Heaven, forget about me been sanctimonious or not, that's far from what I try to pass across to you, continue sowing visa seeds, endless night vigils, anointing oils and filling balonies on your visa forms and also continue encouraging people with your half baked knowledge about God, Lol at Isaac committed visa fraud, that is a new one to me, No wonder Nigeria is stagnant because of your kind of mindset, prayers, prayers and more prayers and yet committing all manner of atrocities, God is not a fraudster, faith without corresponding action is dead, go figure out what those actions are, the same way you call the God factor is not the way it is, how many westerns visit Nigeria yearly without them even praying favor prayers but we pray fire prayers, use all manner of religious gimmicks to circumvent the true process of visa application and now resort to favor talk, Nigeria has so many churches and religious houses and yet the country is dead and rotten with all manner of terrible atrocities , continue with your burukutu and palmwime Bible analysis and think favor is what you need standing alone to succeed in life, the same God says he prefers justice, truth and mercy than all this your lopsided Bible interpretation, what we sow we reap, whether it is visa lies or anything... Lastly, heaven will be full of surprises because going to Heaven is at the prerogative of God and not your faulty beer parlour analysis......

Lolz.... Baby Christian! Imagine, you can't even pinpoint standards and how to get in Heaven and you are teaching us God. SMH.... Feeding you milk and your teeth is breaking, how about if one fed you STRONG MEAT? You just can't bear. Be sure that I'm not pro-misrepresentation and never will, all I'm saying is that there's a God factor in visa pursuit that we should stop hating on, it exists.

One thing I like @the bolded is your acknowledgment of God and His prerogative, better you know this counts too in visa matters as annoying as this may sound to some minds. He favors whom He deems fit (He's PARTIAL) despite being JUST.

If truly you have followed the thread your interview won't end this way....

From your transcript you are not articulate enough, You should have been able to explain better your purpose of visit then the VO can pick up interest and ask further questions...

Now you got the experience! Wait till you are done with school then apply. Being confident goes a long way.

All the best.

Hello house, my parent and my sister applied for B1/B2 visa and their interview was today. My parent got their Visa approved while my sister was denied, she was given the white paper stating section 214(b) as the reason for her denial. Transcrip:

(After asking my dad some questions)
To my sister -
Vo: where have you been travelled to?
Sis: UAE, and Ukraine
Vo: what did you do in Ukraine?
Sis: for education purpose
Vo: what are you doing currently?
Sis: studying nursing in xyz uni (she was trying to bring proof, when the VO told her not to worry)
VO: when is the program ending?
Sis: Dec 2019.

That was all the VO asked and she was denied. We are all wondering why she was denied and I would like experts in the house to please advise and how soon she can apply again? Thanks

Being done with school first means him losing a major tie there, and in the same stretch waiting much more longer to build tenable ties at that new level. I definitely will grant a visa to a final year student ahead of a fresh out of school applicant if I were a VO though, but unfortunately I'm not one.

Abraham and Isaac did misrepresent and engage in PR fraud if you must know, God punished the "President" of those nations and their household because of these misrepresenters without recourse to their misrepresentation. Do you think America is a less Godly society? You know their foundation at all, and why they are always number one in the midst of all the "China, China" talk? Let them dare remove the God factor and see!

One thing I know is that our over ''religiousness'' in this wonderful country is holding us back... We prefer to sow instead of working towards our goals and the most painful thing is that we hate each other with passion in this country.
Things won't work if we don't change our orientation from hoping to working... Heaven help those who helped themselves... Namibians do not need visa to visit U.K till today while a U.S visa for south African is 5-10 yrs duration.

Sounds not bad though for visa issuance, but will ask for an in depth transcript and background info. Was the Ukraine part you posted true? What did she study, and why nursing now? Where they visiting someone in the US? What's the person's relationship and background if yes?

There is slogan I know of...
The US takes the best at their Embassy.
You not smarter than them... They wake up every morning knowing that a Nigerian guy would come lie to their face.. That's the mentality they have everyday..
They already evaluated your DS 160 the moment your sign it.
They have staff that scrutinize your details.. No time to confirm so they sit and analyze what you send to them... Anybody with a convincing Profile won't be asked more than 4 questions because they already see your intention...
My Dad got his first US Visa with just 1 official question... I was surprise... Though he was 68 then.
Let your data be convincing enough.. For a VO to give you a chance....

Seye my broda, have I ever come across on here as being unnecessarily religious talk less of being over-religious? But I am a kingdom person.... The first time I came close to speaking religious was when your visa was issued early last year or so, and I commended you on the way you were congratulating and being happy with successful applicants before you, I really liked it because that was a kingdom principle in action to me, in fact a seed-sowing act. I actually just wanted to point out that there's a God factor in visa application processes, dazzol.

No strong home tie.
What do you do currently?
She could have said... I'm having my BSC program at the so so so and also am working at so so so... I'm currently on vacation and I decided to join my parents for the Christmas ..
The ties would do the trick...
She did great...

The Ukraine part is very true, she was in Ukraine studying Medicine before the whole war palaver... Hence, the nursing she's studying now. No they are not visiting someone, just the normal holiday trip with folks.

I am guessing you guys were hoping that her parents ties would rub off on her? no that's not how it works. She has to qualify on her merits. These merits are known as STRONG TIES, and these are things that will make the applicant return to his/her home country.
She should only reapply when her circumstances have changed.

She's still in school here in Nig, does that not qualify as STRONG TIES to guarantee applicant returning to her home country? Even the paper given to her starts School as one of the ties an applicant must show...

These are some of the things referred to as ties:
1. Finances
2. Family
3. Work
School is not a strong tie. Illegal immigrants can enrol in schools, upon arrival in sanctuary cities regardless of their previous education, I am not saying she's an illegal immigrant

During my undergraduate degree, I was to visit Newzealand to attend a conference, I was applying from North America, l was subjected to all manner of questions, the Vo that interviewd me said that Nigerians are known to fabricate all manner of lies to get visa, I told him that I am already in North America and I don't wish to abscond to Newzealand, he saw all my details, letters from the organization inviting us for the conference etc. I told him that I am already in my final year and I intend to do my Masters on completion in North America, he went inside to discuss with another VO and finally approved my conference visa, whereas other students from South America, the Carribran and Europe got their visas without too much screening, our reputation is damaged and that is why once you flash that green passport anywhere in the world, border officers and most embassies subject you to all manner of screening and someone is hear talking about favor bla bla bla sad

I get what you mean and where you're coming from but looking at it from another angle I think the reason they scrutinize us most of the time at airport, borders etc is because of our lack of documentation... they find it hard to tell us apart, thank God for fingerprint machines but still lack of data contribute to this mess.

The truth is that we Nigerians have sacrificed hard work at altar of "grace" , "favour " , "luck " or whichever name folks prefer.
Let me use the recent poster as a case study. First, she refused or didn't self analyse, filled a form and then comes to ask what her chances are. AFTER the application is sent in.
Then she says ' I hope for favor ' . She also knowingly omitted the fact that she has potential travel partners.... While hoping for favour. Please let's be real here. God is merciful but should we continue to sin that grace may abound? Answer is God forbid!
Do you train your child by telling him that stealing is bad or you say sometimes it your steal, I won't punish you. If the latter is the case, then this child will go on a spree and hope for the best.

We Nigerians have no understanding of the word " qualifications". We always want to twist and wriggle into every thing. In order to be a beneficiary of favour, we misrepresent knowingly then start quoting scripture.
Yes. I admit. Luck, favour, grace exists. But I wish visa applicants would do the needful of knowing if they have the ties before going in. Let's keep grace and favour for higher and better things like safety from accidents or to being appointed a commissioner of happiness outta no where cheesy

Indept answer: What is your intention in carrying the said passport? To show travel history abi? Just to let you know that Ghana has little weight in terms of travel history

95% in tandem with this! However we look at it, no matter our reservations, we should be agreed at least that there's the God factor to visa application processes even though we should not by this encourage laziness, doing no work, going about it unprepared or downplaying the place of ties and set standards. Conclusively, one can not go higher in life than the light of God you have in you! Regards Sis....
