Don't underrated people you meet on Nairaland ! In as much as there are many mad and senseless people on this Forum, they still got some powerful and influential people behind different monikers or as Guest viewers.
Don't think because you rant Sai Baba makes you very intelligent, always pick points and ditch irrelevant post so your life can be better!
The JoeMaddog has a point, but he should also realize that the boy is very qualified, it doesn't mean that buttons were not pressed... This is Nigeria!

Absolutely! correect! And he will not even do the job, infact he does not even need the job, i bet he is also not qualified for the job, there are more hard woking nigerians who would have been better qualified, but instead the job was handed to him, it is very unfair!

before you know it he will become the commissioner.

God bless you for this comment. Most of us Southerners would have opted for NNPC or CBN. I am even disgusted and surprised that the boy chose the NPF we all love to hate.

If he was'nt pressured into this, it then means the boy has a passion for Law Enforcement which is a good thing for the force. We can do with some quality human resource in the NPF. Enough of the dregs of society joining the NPF.

Well said brother, though it seems like he got enlisted based on family ties, it's at the same time beneficial to the country. This one would neither extort nor brook extortion. ..

Yes he will. Someone that studied abroad with all his credentials still end up in NPF. Here in the south most of the rich children will rather work in CBN or NNPC. If he choose to work in CBN nothing will stop him so now the guy decided to join NPF and you guys are still complaining. Hahah! What do you want Nigerian
Bros don't mind those idiot complaining, they don't know that the guy in question could get job in any office in Nigeria but still opted for the police. You can never satisfy Nigerians

Shut up. He should be commended for joining the same Nigerian Police people rubbish and disrespect every single day. Who lobbies to become a Nigeria police officer. Will your pride ever let you join the nigerian police filled with semi-illiterates after schooling abroad? Hell NO!! And people will start screaming blue murder when he becomes a top ranking officer tomorrow.

The emirs son is a Nigerian and legitimately deserves to apply and work for the Nigerian police. Stop this pettiness and free the young man. Who told you he's not a capable Nigerian?

If he had been employed by CBN or FIRS, you will still complain that people like him are taking the juiciest federal government jobs while police and N-power are left for the poor masses. Now that he decided to take up a police job, he's still not capable to folks like you. Is it a crime to be born into royalty?
exactly my thought. if d boy was employed anywhere, people will still complain. his only sin is being an emir's son. even if he doesn't work and sit at home, people will say he is just enjoying funds looted by his father. the boy is first of all a Nigerian and has every right to join police, more so with impressive education.

How many over qualified youth applied for the job before he was picked?
You are obviously living in denial if you think that boy was picked based on qualification.

Actually it is precisely because he is more qualified that he got the job over the minions who applied. The guy has a degree from the University of Buckingham, this is not Imo state university or Igbinedion University. How many people who attended such a prestigious university applied to join the police force? Sanusi doesnt have to pull any leg for the boy, who will see a degree from Buckingham and pick the guy from Federal University of Agric, whether private or public sector...talk less of police? The truth many of you youth fail to understand a is that most of the degrees you obtain from Nigerian Universities are worthless.

Instead of our youth to fight for their futures and hold politicians to account they are bust getting used as pawns in tribal, ethnic, religious and party wars. Whether you choose Atiku or Buhari, Tinubu or Wike, Jonathan or Saraki, none of their children will suffer like the rest of you. their futures are certain by virtue of the quality of education afforded to them, they will get the jobs, many of you will never get not because of their parents but because they are simply better qualified.

Late Emir Ado Bayero was not Present Emir Sanusi Lamido's biological father. So,if this boy is Sanusi's biological son,Ado Bayero is not his grandfather, but he's still from the royal family. This correction must be pointed out.

Many Nigerians who did not know anybody are in Nigerian Police.

If it is not the will of God Almighty, he wouldn't have gotten the job even if his father is the president.

Prince Aminu Sanusi Lamido, the first son of His Highness Emir of Kano Muhammad Sanusi II and the grandson of the late Emir Ado Bayero, has become a police officer.

Prince Aminu born in 1991 joined the Nigeria Police after he graduated from University of Buckingham united kingdom with Bsc accounting after which he left for Riyad the kingdom of Saudi Arabia where he studied Arabic before coming back to Nigeria and did his NYSC in Lagos.

The prince then joined the service of the Nigeria Police, Plateau Academy where he passed out with the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP).

It could be recalled that the ASP's late grand father, Emir Ado Bayero was a police officer before he joined the diplomatic work, then became the emir of Kano.

Congratulations to the Kano royal family, particularly his highness.

Dont mind them, anytime anybody from a prestigious university joins the civil service I am happy, I dont care who your father is. Our problem is we have too many poorly educated in public life, civil service, police etc, army. Just listen to that police spokesman Jimoh speak and you will cry or read Nigerian Army press releases. It is a result of poor educated recruits who have risen to the ranks.

MADdog. Unless u are the I.G of police. that boy go pass ur rank in two years.

And if na money level. he was already above par, before enlisting for the Nigerian Police force.
True!! and the boy will get pass him without any stress, infact that boy may be targetting to become a police commissioner within few years and it will be as easy as Abc for him, infact that is proberbly his motive..

but it is unfair to other struggling real qualified ordinary citizens who applied and was turned down.
