Kai!! Can't believe I am actually reading this.... where is it written that a lady must accept any proposal that comes her way, by fire by force? Doesn't she have the right to turn down a proposal she doesn't want? Did she ever beg the guy to propose to her in public, in the first place?

She can reject it dahs nobody’s business but not basing the rejection on a maybe supposed lie that he cheated. If you can reject a proposal den own up to it.

And where is your proof that the guy's cheating, was a lie? Can't a woman turn down a proposal because a man cheated? Or you believe that cheating should be celebrated?

What if a mutual friend of theirs', had invited the guy to that birthday event, without telling the girl, thinking that he was doing them both a favour by presenting them with an opportunity to reconcile, only for the guy to now surprise everyone with his proposal?

This was the same way one clown on this thread said that the guy, bankrolled the birthday party when there was nothing like that included in the story! Why do people jump to conclusions, anyhow?
