Don't mind most peoples opinion. She is both right and wrong. Biblically Jesus said when giving alms, d right hand shouldn't know what the left is doing. Matthew 6:4
So she is right with that. Again men are logical in thinking, you would have calculated the amount if she had told you and scream to high heaven. That could have caused a friction and even if she did it after that it might not be acceptable as the former.

Also as a family you could have presented it together. Since you are one flesh. But she is uncertain about your spiritual maturity that is the reason she did it before telling you.

Going forward, don't scold her for it @ least not now that it is still hot. And give her the notion that next time you won't stand against her if she had told you about it.

your assumptions are not completely accurate. You failed to understand that both married and unmarried Christians are going through the same deception by the so called men of God. Nigerians are the most gullible people I have seen in my life. Both the educated and uneducated are equally brainwashed easily by men of God. It has little to do with marriage. To blame our marriage you have to blame our criticize our culture first. Donating all she earned was an act of bravery but executed foolishly.

There was no direct or implied comparison between both churches in my post.

A simpler narrative would read thus; a man is the spiritual head of his home. A situation where a man and his wife worship at different churches is a fundamental marital error, which I place squarely at the table of the man being the head.

I understand where you're going to but you need to understand that you don't give offering and tithe to priest or pastor rather to God but what they do with it should not bother you unless you were forced to do so...

Numbers 30:10-12. Reject that vow and call back that money sharp sharp. Ur wife is an idiot and a disobedient fool. She serves her pastor and not God. My wife can't try that because I already warned her that if she does its a sin against the God she claims to honor with the vow. Any vow a woman makes must be with the consent of the husband. If she doesn't bring back the money arrest the pastor for 419. Responsible pastors ask questions when women bring things to them. Simple and short.

The fear of being stopped should not be a reason not to at least discuss that with the husband. That is clearly wrong and negates spiritual authority. If the Spirit actually ministered to the woman to do so, he can also convince the husband about it. The story of the woman who housed the Prophet Elisha is a clear example. She discussed with the husband the Ed to build him a house. 2nd Kings 4: 8-37.
