Likely pull back to 2.73 Fibo Retracement level (38.2)
MACD histogram is retracing, indicating bulls are getting tired. Stochastic at overbought levels. However, based on fundamentals pull back to 38.2 level is temporary because of its year end result positive outlook.

Who are the winners of today?
Those who sold during the ATH.
Lets be sincere.who was not greedy to sell?
I was greedy when i saw Transcorp at 1.86 and decided to adjust till next week.

peter is the only person who can say i sold at ATH .
We learn everyday. As a trader, I always keep my eyes on the bid size of any stock that I hold that is not supported by numbers (reasonable eps) and transcorp seems to be one of them. I kept monitoring from when their is bid of 15 million plus @ 1.86. when the bid reduced to 3 million plus, I quickly sold mine (just 1m units) and in the next 3 minutes, transcorp was selling for 1.78 till it enter offer. I may still enter transcorp when I see that is has bottomed out.

I would have done same for DF but because the numbers are there to sustain it up even when the price goes down.

Sometimes, you win through this strategy, sometimes the market will prove you wrong, one is never perfect.

I hope everyone is enjoying the bullish run...don’t worry we gat along way to go. Fresh fund (Real hot money) about to hit NSE again and on or before the month end. Don’t forget information is the key and so hold on to what works best for you. Have a blessed weekend. All the best!

Not a recommendation to buy/sell. Your DD is advisable

Dangote is one of the regional cement companies being touted as a front-runner to bag Lafarge South Africa alongside others, such as Twiga and Bamburi, which are said to be more profitable and in a better financial position to turn-around fortunes at the South African cement manufacturer.

“Possible buyers could include Dangote Cement, Bamburi Cement (LafargeHolcim), and Twiga Cement (Heidelberg), as these firms are more profitable, generate stronger cash flow and are able to take on more debt to fund acquisitions,” the cement industry experts at Exotix noted.

They should concentrate on the Nigerian market....this is where the money is.
That is their next move.

You will discover that today was a very bullish day, but if you look at the stocks that lost taday closely, you would discover they were the ones that our members here imagined and postulated that they would retrace/pull-back. And they indeed pulled back the stocks. Not to worry, they would pay the ticket fee and join us again in the bus next week. Cheers.

MSCI- NIGERIA FUND ADDITIONS BETWEEN 2ND AND 4TH JANUARY 2018

The fun has not been very active since 22nd December 2018. Likely to resume from next week. Also since the fund paid dividend last January, this January 5, 2018 they are also likely to pay dividend again, so they have been selling some little amounts just to have cash for dividend.

The fun is still buying Seplat in small quantities. So no big move seen yet. So the information is sometimes embedded in my other posts. But if I see anything substantial, I will escalate it. We are waiting for the equities that will be used to replace Unilever and UACN which are no more in the list.

The movement in the fund between 2nd and 4th January 2018 is shown below. However, what I can say is that the fund is having enormous cash available (about NGN904,199,292.00).

The decision by the fund around July 2017, when they postponed investing further in Nigeria market, brought back the little bear season we experienced, now that the fund and its allies are now pro-Nigeria, we can imagine the bull move that will come to the market . Let us have this in mind. this is the reason why every news is so optimistic in the market. Our own job is to position ourselves to make money from the big moves by the funds and insha Allah good things will happen to investors who can put their money in good stocks.

Going further, the closing figures in the market today showed some blue chips among the gainers, extrapolating this, next week is likely to be bullish.

Caution: Investing is a risky venture. This is just my opinion and I cannot be liable for any loss suffered as a result of following this recommendation. All data used are assumed to be correct, but you may need to verify some of the figures independently. You can check data at https://www.globalxfunds.com/funds/nge/ for the movement in the MSCI Nigeria fund

I remember Chuka Eseka. I attended one of his meetings( about 8 or 9 years ago)where he sold the idea of how TransCorp would revolutionize Nigeria and the world( I still have my TransCorp mouse pads and supplies he gave me). I put a lot of money in it then at N7.50 per Share. How times have changed.
