They have always been like that.
When I wrote in 2015, my venue was changed similarly from Sheba in Ikeja to National theatre.

CanadianEnginee:
The British Council guys are now running the place the way naija local government offices are run. Imagine changing exam venue less than 24 hrs to start of test. They are just so disorganised these days.

Online masters and post graduate diplomas and even one year graduate certificate programs from colleges will count. If it's from a canadian college, all the better. If it isn't, you'll be safer sticking with a masters or pgd as evaluating bodies may not recognise the certificate.

optionese:

Online courses don't count. If you don't have a masters , you can try to get a masters. You can also try the PNP route. Put pnp on the search button to find out about it

Please i need a little assistance.I want to apply for EE and there is a question "Do you have a certificate of qualification from a Canadian province, territory or federal body? "
I will like to know if i get one lets say from Sasks can i use it to apply in the general pool . I intending on getting an engineer in training from Saks but this can only be used for that province. But i would prefer to migrate to Alberta.
Since i really prefer Alberta will i getting a certificate from a province will boost my score for the general pool?

I don't think this is correct cos when stimulating crs score, you are asked if you have a Canadian education. it specifically asks if you were in Canada for at least a specific period in the course of study. I don't think online masters qualify as Canadian education for the purposes of getting points.

Hello House,

Just wanted to find out, is it OK to get the Nigerian Police PCC, before ITA, as soon I go into the pool I mean, given a high CRS score.

Secondly, when can a gift deed be done, before or after ITA?

Pls does anyone have an answer to the above question I' m also interested in knowing.

Proof of fund requirement has been updated, people! Family of 4 is now expected to show at least $23,181. Check https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/become-candidate/eligibility/proof-funds.html

I don't think this affects people who are post ITA/ gotten AOR. Those funds are already locked in based on previous proof of funds.

This mostly applies to pre ITA.

In my opinion, I think if you're sure of getting ITA as soon as you're in the pool and you'll submit your application asap post ITA, you may go ahead. If not, it's better you wait till you get ITA. PCC can be gotten in a day at Alagbon if you're In Lagos.

Secondly, gift deed can be done pre or post ITA. However, I'll advise you do it pre ITA.

Goodluck

I have been at IP1 for over a month now and It's a little frustrating.
I do realise that there's no yardstick to follow as people have different processing speeds. I can only categorically say that it won't exceed 6 months.
At the same time, I am still a bit worried and hoping that I do not have any issues with any submitted docs.

But guys, when is it a good time to get actually worried and try to either call, find out visa office or request for gcms notes?

If you are in one spot for more than one month you should call and or order gcsm notes. I posted the number earlier on. Click on my previous posts to see how to go about it.

Hi My good people,

Please I would be going to snap my digital photo today with Studio 24 in Abuja.

I would like to find out if I should just print the hard copy for PPR which will be 50mm by 70mm dimension and then I adjust the frame to 35mm by 45mm dimension for eAPR to avoid having to go to the studio twice when PPR arrives by God's grace grin?

Can I also get the hardcopy signed and stamped by the studio today?

Thanks guyz

It is accepted sometimes. At least by WES.
A colleague's husband sent it to WES and it was accepted. So you should try and see.

Not for canadian education, but for 2 or more certificates. 25 points are lost in skills transferability while 7 points or so are lost in education totaling over 30 points.

Hi,
I am new here. I have gone through the thread and seen how those who are ahead have shown assistance, may God bless you for your good job.
I am done with IELTS
My credentials have been assessed by IQAS
The next step is my challenge. I am having difficulties selecting the the right NOC. I am a graduate of microbiology and I work as a regulatory office with National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and control (NAFDAC).
I will be very grateful if those who have experience can help me out.
Thanx

Hello Everyone,

Please what can I do to raise my morale?

1st attempt (July) - LRWS - 7.5,9, 7.5, 8
2nd attempt (Nov)- LRWS - 8.5, 8.5, 6.5, 7.5

For 2nd Attempt: I Requested for EOR in RWS. None was upgraded (lost 15k) cry cry

3rd attempt (Jan) - Had my speaking this week - Messed up big time!!!! embarassed cry cry

I presently feel so depressed and demoralized.

With IELTS score of LRWS-8,7,7,7........................ITA would fall on me immediately wink, but achieving this appear impossible #Makeigobegmyvillagepeople grin

Thanks to everyone. The test went well except for the listening sections - though not because of my state of mind. It was a bit difficult listening to the audio via speaker instead of headset (wrote @MOD Center) so i missed out some answers.

@ the end, it will end in praize.

Dear friends,

Thank you for the help so far.

I am getting different information from past threads. My past employee is asking for address of letter. Do I just address my Work reference letter as '' TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN'' or it has to be specific to the visa office. If specific, which Visa office? I read CIC, Case processing Centre Ottawa also here, others said IRCC Sydney, Nova Scotia.

My Gift deed letter from My father was addressed to CIO, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), Sydney, Nova Scotia. He is not in the country presently and notarised the letter in his resident country- been there for years. Is this okay please and also the address too? though i plan to include a LOE to the effect

Please pardon my ignorance and clarify please. I see it requires so much detail in filling post-ITA forms and I do not want to take any chances.
