I don’t have a problem with people making volunteering or pressured donations to their various religious organizations. After all, every organization require funding for their sustenance and survival. However, what I find disturbing is the lack of transparency and accountability in churches. This is the same problem we have in Nigeria. Religious organizations should publish their statement of accounts, financial positions and income statements and also other important information to their members. I strongly believe that their members deserved to know because of their donations.

i agree except the pressured donation? Its wrong biblically. Churches should publish their accounts altho there will be negative consequences. Imagine a 50k earner seeing the kind of salaries paid to church workers; the guy will faint...

one thing i observe about him. not because he is against the tithing, most of us are against it already for a very long time before he bring out the topic and reasons he gain many support so easily. tithe is an old debate and discussion that has been trash decades ago. many reformist america churches have stop tithes in 60s - 70s.
check the internet and youtube you will see that its old topic.

but freeze is only using it as a platform to attack churches like he just learnt about it newly. something we have discuss on nairaland since 2008 over and over again.

and also if you look clear he has been moving from one topic to another, all old and outdated topic. like Xmas and pray for enemy to die. all outdate topic that have been discuss over some decades ago.

Why are we still binding ourselves to the law? Are you still under the Law? If you are, then Check your foundation. When people talk about this issue of tithe, it pains me because they tend to portray God as only someone who repays. God gives freely to his people, just believe in Christ. And when you believe and love God you will be able to give freely if you have to. Freewill giving is what should be encouraged .

Op, if you want to refute, that's your business but if you want to do it openly, then bring in your own argument.

Op, you took Freeze's words out of context. If you have any iota of sense, you will see that Freeze never have anything against Christianity. He only rebukes god of men using the name of God to shield their corrupt practices.

Jesus said "go into the whole word and preach the gospel". But Freeze said that the Nigerian pastors should stop preaching outside Nigeria. Is this not making nonsense of the word of God?.
