...bulls are in charge of daily, weekly and monthly chart. Yesterday, bears dominated and if allowed, could possibly drop the price down to test previous support at around 1.63. Or could create a new support above 1.63

Sir, how can i achieve this bold statement? Also which dates are the opening and closure of the right.....
Thanks

Your broker should be able to do that for you. My wife didn't have Lafarge, but was able to buy 10000 units of the right on the floor at between N43 and N44.5

hmnnn find out how much the lead issuing houses are taking before you put your money my broda

Marketing cost for the offer, right circular, professional fees for lawyers, accountants and the issuing house should not exceed 2%, 1.6% is usually the a average.

Lafarge spent N1.3 billion which should be about 1% of the fund raised.

Any news on CILEASING share reconstruction.
If Fidelity bank Q4 EPS is 85k,using 30- 50% Dividend policy, they could give 42k Dividend.

Be aware of Basel 3 before building castles in the air with all these dividend projections

Layman's knowledge here is that it is a set of accounting regulations that will ensure stricter capital, expense and NPL reporting for the banks.

With the attendant potential for higher costs of course.

See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basel_III for more basic info .

Before you project such, try checking the after dividend trend of such stocks. It won't make any sense to buy a share for N100, get a dividend of N20 and sell at N70 excluding commissions. Except you want to go the whole mile (long term).

And also don't forget that banks are expected to report huge declines in this first quarter as TB rates have dropped and is still dropping.

Gracias

The offer will be over subscribed, the issuing houses handling this offer are top notch, Stanbic IBTC capital, FBN Quest merchants Bank and Zenith capital.

Currently processing a N10 Million 6 months facility for this offer.

Your best bet is to buy the rights on the floor from those who won't take their rights rather than asking for additional rights.
For example, some one that have 1000 units what is he/her rights to take ? what date is the right going to open and at what price for new investor's ?

9 rights for every 16 Shares held on 8th December 2017. This is primary 3 Arithmetic, iya do the division and multiplication.

According to the legendary fund manager Peter Lynch, stock market investment is not a rocket science, with a good knowledge and application of year 4 maths you can make a fortune in the stock market.

Sorry for my answer to Ihedioma, on the Treasury Bills thread he asks questions like.

If he invested N1 million at 18%, how much would he get in 100 days.

Which is a question my son in primary 4 would answer in less than 2 minutes.

(100/365) X 18%= 4.93% .....for 100 days.

N1m X 1.049 = N1.049m

You will gain only N49,000 on your N1m invested for 100 days.

Try and explain and don't look down on people.

No question is stupid, so don't make him look so.

9 for every 16 held. This is :

[1000(units held)/16(divisor for the units held)] X 9= [1000 X 9]/16

=562.5 units you will receive as your rights.

We have explained to him more than 10 times.

Another regular question of his is this,

If he invested N1 million at an interest rate of 15%, how much would he get in 4 years.

I believe an investor who can't answer basic questions like this, will do well buying mutual funds.

Morning gentlemen.........for me to post at this time a man is trying to think cash!

I have gained so much from this thread, especially from fellow hardcore fundamentalists led by Ogas agba, currentprice and emma.

Thanks for 2017 and I pray we continue making cash in 2018!

Now, what is keeping me awake is this.

My portfolio is presently DF, DS, Transcorp, UBN, Fidelity, FBNH, Afriprud, UCAP and tasere Eterna.

Only red in this bull is ASL FZE, which I bought units at N7.

I need advice on which of these will be the best to open new positions
FCMB
Diamond
Access
International Breweries
Champion Breweries
Honeywell
SEPLAT.

Capital is enough to strengthen my existing position >20% while opening appreciable position on 4 of the 7 listed above.

Have done and am doing continuous DD. All advice is fully appreciated.
