Shuuu ...Pls don't say it too loud. ... DFs 1st stop shall be N21 . ...Then the ultimate breakthrough revelation. ...Then the speed race to the top.
To those who think it is expensive, just be a spectator. ...Am sure Alahji AD wouldn't mind. grin grin

Please exercise cautious optimism in the stock market. Your post is misleading. We both know stocks don't move in a straight line. There will certainly be bumps on the way.

Institutional investors have started hijacking Dangote Flour and its gradually leaving the NSEMPA zone. Watch it break N13 today, N15 tomorrow, N18 next week

Very easy to get too excited but we should caution ourselves so we won't mislead those new in the game.

FBNH vs UBA vs Access: Is there any lesson to learn from their price performance?

...Well noted sir. ...but if its Dangote Flour u are referring to, then I'll be cautiously optimistic but only when it gets to N21.
like I said before, I Love time. ...It intoxicates me because it has an inbuilt power to settle things very easily. ...let's allow time to be the judge.
However, having bumps on the way with respect to pricing is only normal. ...last time i checked, it is and remains an inevitable natural phenomenon as far as the thing called a stock market is concerned.
Btw, i am not sure if u do read thru my post especially to the very end of it. ...'cause if u realy do, u would never say or even assume that my post can be misleading.
Yes its a faceless forum but some of us still hold our integrity very much in high esteem.

Na so I see am o! I think the reason is mere sentiment, which supersedes all fundamental considerations and cheer ignorance on the part of large majority of Nigerian investors. For instance, it will be difficult to ask a good number of Nigerians not to invest in zenith, gtb, Coca Cola, guiness etc. In fact, some are still mentioning union bank, which has died and resurrected several times!

You took the words out of my mouth. The average Nigerian's choice in anything is not guided by a careful and rational consideration of available concrete facts but by primordial sentiments especially attached to names.
What matters is how long they have known a thing and not the intrinsic quality of that thing itself. As at 2013 my church decided to invest about N5m in stocks towards our new building project but I was shocked that after the church council met over it, the choice of stock they came out with was FBNH just because they had all before then been hearing that First Bank is consistent with dividends payment, it is the most stable bank, investment in it is safe, blah blah blah. All my attempts to make them understand that there were other a lot other more promising stocks with outstanding shares few enough to cause scarcity and steep upward rally when their fundamentals improve made no sense to them. I actually suggested Forte Oil which was at N8 but the First Bank default euphoria was just to overwhelming.
Now is the fifth year and the building project has not gone beyond foundation level for lack of funds while the FBNH shares have not even yielded a net profit of 1m. But Forte Oil would later climb to 342 within 2.5 years. The biggest irony of it all is that they have continued to stick to FBNH because it is "safe".

If the product. P.E. is no longer a tenable factor in determining whether a stock is cheap or expensive, how shall we now determine? Please house.
When we were buying Diamond and FBNH they said we were operating in hopeville and buying carcass. Now the carcasses are coming through. Dead Diamond has already returned 100% since the dumping that followed its q3 result. These days its best to buy before the news, and rise with the news. The news is where the pe, ta and fa draw from. That is why the likes of pa emma is buying flourmills, wapco etc. For now they have no special news, but when they do, pple will start queuing after pa has made some reasonable percent in profit.

I love a bus that completely remove the travelers before embarking on a trip..... grin
Buses that wait for a along time at the park so that people who ate and drank too much before reaching the park will finish their calls to the rest rooms, when we are moving, no stories....LET THE ACCELERATOR MARRY THE BOARD, as James will say..... grin

I also didn't see any positive data about First Bank and Diamond Bank. But their followers are here jubilating daily. I think what we need to guide us here as individuals is = Holy Spirit.

I was told by BBM and FXUSER that crosses above the MACD zero line are more reliable and powerful than crosses below the zero line... grin
I also understood that you have to catch the trend early.
I also understood that a gradual/steady build up towards the resistance is better in BOMBING it and escaping gravity, than a rush towards the resistance. In which case, energy is already exhausted along the way.... grin

BBM/FX, did I lie against you?
