Hi Ethelia, let me explain properly.

For proof of studies, you attach your LLB and your ECA. But when submitting use your LOE and explain that you are also qualified to practice, and attach your certificate of call to Bar. Please note not FOR PROOF OF STUDIES but under your LOE.

Hope this clarifies it.

Ethelia:

shocked oh wow. thanks for this info. I thought there was no need to add law school certs since I used only my uni cert with iqas. Since law school gives 2 certificates, are we to include both or just the call to Bar cert?

Congratulations!

Hello everyone,

Please I just ADR for employment and they've requested for employment letters, tax documents, payslips, promotion letters etc.
I would like to find out for those who have gotten this kind of ADR, what documents was presented for tax documents especially when an employer was not remitting the deductions.
Also, my last employer (Company B) didn't provide employment letter as it was a transfer from a sister company (Company A). I didn't submit a reference letter for Company A, as I wasn't claiming points for it, but submitted reference letter for Company B. Is it okay to submit the employment letter for Company A and the transfer memo to Company B? I will be attaching payslips for Company B only.

Kindly advice. Thank you.

I worked as a microbiologist in an hospital. NOC 3211 is for medical laboratory technologist, though some of our duties may be same if we work in an hospital.

I am applying for mpnp , and the course of study and noc must be the same.

Can I tweak CIC JD with what I already have?

Check 2121.i am a microbiologist as well.

@sleekchic Experience indicates that the age of the investment may not matter. Although yours is Tbill, I know two people whose fixed deposit investments were less than one month when they submitted their application, yet they got PPR in record time. This is for informal purposes only smiley

Thank you so much, so did those people attach statement of their account or they only submitted the investment certificate

Pls I need an urgent response to this question. I presently do not have my MSc certificate because it isn't ready but I can access my transcript. My question is, can I just use my transcript? More so, what would I fax to WES in substitute for my certificate. Thanks guys

Hello, my spouse had applied for a student visa before , but his job role was mixed up. He applied using banker as his profession but on the marriage certificate it is written as teacher, although he did not submit the certificate when he applied.

Now am the PA ,Should we do an affidavit to point it out/correct it or just ignore it? would it pose a delay or rejection for us?

Kindly find below @Drhopeful's post. She had this "discrepancy" issue too.

Drhopeful: In my case, I just wrote LOE to cover it. I just said it was an error on the part of the registry and referred to my employment docs for reference.

Thank u very plenty
Raconteur14:

1. Your scores are locked in first after ITA, then after you submit your e-application. You can however change few details by raising CSE after submission.

2. Your scores are locked in once you receive your ITA. If there are changes, afterwards, you are advised to first recalculate your MEC for your eligibility and then recalculate your CRS to see if it did not drop below the minimum CRS for which you were invited.

Age is however exempt. It is locked in at ITA and should your age drop before you submit your application, it will not affect your application. Scroll to the end of this page

Gr8 seniors, am indeed gr8ful
mcstan18:

You will not lose points if your birthday comes after you receive an ITA or before you submit eAPR. See the exemption clause below:

Exemption to section A11.2: candidates whose birthday occurs after they receive an ITA
An applicant may have a birthday after they receive an ITA but before they submit their e-APR. Their change in age may lower their CRS score below the lowest score in the round of invitations. It may also result in the applicant no longer meeting the minimum requirements of the FSWC and, consequently, no longer meeting the MEC, resulting in a refusal based on section A11.2.
When a change in age results in the candidate no longer meeting the MEC or having their recalculated CRS points score fall below the lowest points score in that round of invitations, officers should consider applying the public policy to exempt applicants for permanent residence from certain age-based requirements between invitation to apply and application, based on section A25.2. This consideration can result in an exemption from the refusal of an application under section A11.2.
This public policy also grants an exemption to applicants who may be refused for failing to meet FSWC program requirements when their birthday occurs between the ITA and e-APR.

The wait was long, thanks to London VO (completed the full 6 months grin).

Please no one should exercise any fear of London, they just take their sweet time with applications. For my learned colleagues, when submitting your application, ensure you attach your Call to Bar certificates because they will definitely ask for "evidence to practice". I attached it from the beginning and did not get any adr for it. However, other professionals (Doctor, Pharmacist etc) in my group who did not attach theirs, got adr for it. To other London gang members (no matter the aor), please do not fret, you will definitely get that golden mail and all the worries/anxieties will melt away.

London London, dear London, they are just dulling people but they can’t take away the shine or the fire that God has lit. @London Gang, keep the faith, your testimonies are on the way.

Do you have a statement of reslult aka ‘to whom it may concern’? You can use that in place of a Certificate.

Kindly advise pls.
My wife does not have her 2015 Masters certificate as Unilag is not ready to release unless she produces her B.Ed. certificate for citing, learnt it UNILAG exams & records policy. Meanwhile Bachelors certificate is not ready by d Uni as she only has statement of result.

Meanwhile, Masters was inputed in express entry pre-ITA

My question - can I just use WES alone to substitute for Masters in proof of studies while I use Bachelors's degree Statement of result & WES for 1st degree.

My fear is that hope they wont request for ADR for Masters certificate though I did complete WES for both degrees for her. If we stick to 1st degree alons, our CRS points will drop & we are at post- ITA

Anyone

I gat more questions abeg.

I evaluated my HND and pgd and was asked to produce the OND in the process. On the WES report, my HND + PGD were evaluated to be equal to Diploma (three years) and postgraduate certificate ( one year). There was no mention of the OND on my WES report. Do I need to include my OND on my EE profile? Or do I just put the HND to be equivalent to a straight 4 years bachelors?

For clarification sake, OND is for 2 years while HND is also for 2 years.

Praise the Lord, deliverance has finally come from London. Its PPR.

AOR - July 20th 2017
Med Pass/IP1- July 28th 2017
NA2 - July 29th
File transfer to London - September 20th 2017
IP2 - January 17th 2018
PPR - January 18th 2018

Thought of a lot of things but I am speechless just grateful to God that the ordeal is over.

To my people (too many wonderful people to start calling out names) in the July AOR London Whatsapp group, you are the best. We did a lot of consolation and outbursts at London VO wink. I pray that very soon, the name will be changed to Landing in Canada cause no one will be left out in the PPR rain this month.

Whew, finally made it to Part 3 of the thread. grin

Congratulations! So happy for u sis. London...it shall end in praise for us all

Yes. In the spirit of helping one another, I said here some weeks ago that any UNN alumnus who desires to process transcript should get in touch with me. A good number of people here did and within 5 days or less their transcripts got delivered. They are here and can testify to that. Send me a PM if you are also interested. (Please note that this is not a business venture for me, before the moderators think it is and ban me. I'm only trying to assist others the little way I can)

Cheers
please I need your assistance.

The ECA summary is diploma (three years) and postgraduate (one year) right? If yes, it will give you points for two or more certificates. You will put the OND under your personal history details (post-ITA) while the HND+PGD is what you will use to claim points.

If I understand you well, you intend to run this whole show with a loan and probably use the remainder as PoF right? How do you intend to explain the inflow into your account when it's time to do so?
Besides, the fund wouldn't be 'unencumbered' as required by CIC and failure to disclose appropriately could be interpreted as misrepresentation. You do not want to get yourself into that mess.

I think it'll be a better option if your dad takes the loan himself and transfers the cash to you with a notarized gift deed to support. That way, liability is shifted to him. Others may have better suggestions on this though

I believe she can use her Nigerian bank account if the account is in her name.
