This Message is From NFF Women Football Whatsapp Group...

The last female age grade teams were owed bonuses and allowances in camp during qualifiers and after world cup itself to the extent that they said one of the girls fainted with too much cry of empty pocket and her dad burial right waiting for her at home.
super falcons were also owed a lot that caused demonstration to NSS and NFF excommunicate them till last month ending to bring in new coach and new team because of money.
now the real question is this, hope the needful is done for the Falconets that were denied Christmas break. i hope they did not go home to their family with empty pocket as always ?
have they been paid their bonuses and allowances ?
so that they can smile home and feel fine to rush back to camp when called upon at any time ?
my blood dey boil ooo before i start to talk hard again on NFF ooo

I think this friend of mine.. Has a good idea about how the NFF can make our Age grade team grow...

[2/5, 7:59 AM] Saudi: Where am I starting from...

- Developmental Sporting Programs for Unders of National teams: these girls should not be exposed to monetary rewards buh placed on scholarships for personal growth and development. Most of these girls are drop-outs while some can't further their education due to lack of finances or sponsor.

- Educational Project: the NFF can or should constitute a committee for education and mentorship. All U17 & U20 (both sex) should be mandated to connect with NFF educational scheme!.
How does it work? With a pool of about 30-50 players or more for every cadre to be camped and provided education in any institution through collaborative efforts; with the like of Uni Abuja or in a State where the lads will be camped.
Each player train in the morning before school/lecture and in the evening based on MoU with the institutions.
Note: selected players become property of NFF who takes responsibility of them with reference to their club of origin for ownership (in terms of marketing).
There is more to this Sha...

To be continued!!!

PDPGuy:

To be fair to the NFF, the WAFU tournament is only for home-based players, just like the men’s version. So, they were in order to invite only home-based players.

Anyway, I think the issue of the NFF leadership taking SF protests more personal, has to do with cultural orientation. It’s still considered “un-ladylike” for women to openly protest for payment in public.

There were a few home based girls in the main SF

Bala Nikyu is a yes man and NFF love yes men. He can be owed salary for 2000 years and he wont complain. Zero technical inputs, and he is always like that. I remember watching a match in the last U17 and the commentator was saying if you give Nigeria extra 90 minutes, they still will not score.
Quick fix: bring in a new coach before the 2nd leg. I dont think we will qualify sha. No way we will go there and beat Cameroon.

LaLiga collaborates with NWFL to improve women’s football

The Sports Association of the national Spanish Football Competition LaLiga de Fútbol Profesional (LaLiga) and the Nigerian Women’s Football League (NWFL), have signed a memorandum of understanding to help bolster the women’s football game in Nigeria.

The exclusive agreement between the two football league bodies is aimed at promoting gender equality in sports through the integration of women in football while encouraging access to sports management, education and the development of CSR activities.
Speaking about the partnership, LaLiga’s Women's Football Director, Martina Olivas said: "In LaLiga, we have a firm commitment to supporting the development of women's football not only in Spain, but also internationally, as evidenced by agreements just like this one.

“We understand the growing strength of women football globally and we believe that this partnership will bring great benefits to both parties.”

A particularly notable aspect of the partnership will include the exchange of football knowledge and experience between both bodies. LaLiga will facilitate the organization of friendlies matches, inter-team tournaments, coaching programmes for senior and grassroots women footballers and the development of television commercials for the women football division in Nigeria.

“This is a very timely and important development for the NWFL and Nigeria women’s football as a whole A strategic alliance and partnership with LaLiga, recognized as the world’s best league is definitely a good step forward and in the right direction towards the growth and development of the women's game in Nigeria,” Aisha Falode said.

“It's a new dawn for women football in Nigeria, this is just the beginning of greater things to come for the NWFL as better days are fast approaching. With the long string of success of our women's national teams in International competitions and their dominating status on the African continent (an achievement that is firmly rooted in the depth, quality and management of nation's women league), this partnership will help us bridge the gap with the development of the game in the western world.

I'm concerned about our Flamingoes. This may be our first time to miss an U17 FIFA Women competition if our football authorities don't take this return leg serious. Thomas Dennerby should be instructed to take over proceedings now b4 it is too late.

Dont worry. NFF will draft in some older U17s to play and counter the Cameroonians. Although it has to be said that this NFF is the worst for female football. Anything outside super eagles, Pinnick isnt interested.

Hmm. I hope the NFF aren’t planning to draft in overaged players into the team, because the Cameroonians will surely find out. And the country could risk a FIFA ban from the competition
