I recently engaged in an offline argument about the efficacy of rituals, effectively exposing the fraud that it is. Many fail to understand that the "money ritual" craze is more of a trade (buying and selling) than a spiritual hullabaloo.

Like you rightly stated, if a majority of the population actually knew that it doesn't work, they'll be lesser incidents.

But then, we live in an extremely superstitious society that isn't made any better by the uproar of religion.
the only way to be certain about the efficacy of rituals is to get it done.so one question, have you done it before?

Jesus Christ would have pampered those he chased out of the synagogue who were busy buying and selling instead of sending them packing as he did. In the same vein, as you rain blessings on your enemey, it's still the same as cursing them because the blessings will turn to curses. Nigerians have prayed for repentance of the ritualists in the past. But they are hardened and unrepentant the more. What they now deserve is the opposite. Back to your question. The wicked may not die immediately. They die gradually so they could have a taste of God's punishment while here on earth. Look at our politicians who have stolen our money in the past. I won't mention names here. We can see what has been befalling them already. Most of them have terminal diseases too, while some live on implants and pace makers. Is that a life? Meanwhile, the poor live healty and much stronger, with long life. I heard of a former leader in this country who now walks on motorised cruches. You cannot see him in the media anymore. His 2 limbs have since been cut off. Now tell me, are they not all dying gradually? remember the bible says the wicked will not go unpunished.

poverty is a bastard. You are so poor that you equate poverty to good health. May wealth smile on you so you won't die broke

His job there is to pray and not to make it to come into fulfillment, that's GOD'S job to do.
The bible says "ask and it shall be given unto you". Matthew 7:7. It didn't say; ask and answer it yourself rather it says ask and it shall be given unto you, in other words ask and I will answer you in other words GOD is saying, your job is to ask, mine is to answer, so it is not his (oyedepo) part to fulfill what he asked rather it is GOD'S part and job.

The Bible also say; "whatsoever ye ask the father in my name, believe, you shall receive it". That passage says it all. A Christian part is to pray and believe while answering it is GOD'S part is to answer so far the one praying has faith as recorded in Mark 11:23, then his or her prayer will be answered.

So in essence, it is not oyedepo's part or job to answer or fulfill his prayer rather that's GOD'S job. His (oyedepo) part is to pray and believe which he has done, answering or fulfilling it is GOD'S, okay.

So he (oyedepo) has done his part which is to pray and have faith, now it GOD'S part or job that's remaining.

Stop twisting the scriptures
Una like all dis native doctor Pentecostal prayers
Jesus said love thy enemies
No where did he say we should curse
You made mention on principalities
Do principalities die
Are they not spirits
Do we ve the power to kill spirits( demons)
All these nollywood scriptures u lots bring out to suit ur own style of Christianity makes us look like jokes to other people
Read ur bible
He said I will prepare a table before u
In the presence of ur enemies
If they are all dead
What need is the table of victory
No where are we told to pray die die prayer to workers of evil
The word of God said surely they shall gather
But flee in seven ways
The action here is the word flee
Not death
So make una understand the gospel of Jesus
Die die gospel is not the true gospel

Instead of him to pray for the death of currupt politicians and public servants...he is here talking about ritualist...

Nigeria will be better when pastors start telling the truth
Re: Bishop David Oyedepo Prays For The Death Of Ritual Killers In Nigeria by Lovine: 6:26am On Feb 17, 2018
Can Jesus pray that kind of prayer? Father forgive them for they don't know what they are doing. Preach the true message and allow God to do the rest, not cursing.

Whom do you take pastors for?. You're there in your world of limited knowledge claiming ritual killings don't work, and of all the people you could blame-government, ritualists, security officials, and all- you're choosing to balme pastors? you had better taper down on how much of contempt you dash at these most noble men of God. In which of your worlds do the pastors enforce the beliefs on ritual killings. If your ignorance had just little more enlightenment, you would know that folks who do rituals either hardly visit churches or hardly hold on to any instructions therefrom.

Which pastor did you take to OKIJA or to SOHCA(forgive the spelling) to enforce their belief in ritual killings?

Like I said, get better informed, and tone the disrespect way down.

Men of God don't pray for the death of sinners, they pray for their repentance.

"The Son of man didn't come for the healthy, but for the sick."

"Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance"

Anyone who prays for the death of another human is not a Christian so therefore the person can't be a man of God.

What's the difference between what Oyedepo just did and Ezemmuo does in his shrine?

Of course, the prayer was for un-repentant ones, when they refuse change, let them die..

On a second note, follow anything that works for you, christianity is diverse.

The barbaric act of ritual killings in one form or the other was a major part of the African culture way before Christianity was brought to Africa...Whether you like to admit it or not, Christianity abolished many of those wicked acts like the killing of twins by Mary Slessor.
