2. Is the training organised by a reputable body, even if there are only known in the US?
3. When you travelled to Barbados, did you transit through the US?
4. When you say "the sponsors are sponsoring the training" why is that? is the training not relevant to your company enough for them to sponsor you?
5. Are you employed?
6. Did you use an agent to package your application? if yes, there is a possibility he has done the same packaging for others.
7. Are you married?

Hello guys..

Last year April was my first time to apply for US B2 Visa, but I was denied. My brother lives there married to a white and have kids.
I'm planning to reapply next month just on vacation, what's my chance of being granted. I've never traveled out of the country before. I think that was one reason why I was denied last time and being the first time too. I tot of putting on an African stamp on my Passport, but I really don't want an issue so I dump the idea. Will I be granted.

My wifey is a smart woman. I told her interview is not just about smartness but preparedness. I even told her what to say if same question is asked but she said she was nervous and a bit lost. All The same thanks to the gurus in the house.

I have an idea of the post but I can't remember everything. I'll try my best
1. Read the thread. Knowledge is the root source of confidence
2. Take charge of the interview. Find a way to take attention toward your strength. Take for example, if you have traveled to say Ghana, let it show that that travel was for a purpose egs
"yes, I traveled in 2017 to Ghana for my annual vacation to see the scene outside Nigeria"- in my ultimo opinion it shows you like vacationing
Or " yes, for a conference on.... ". This would be useful if you are going for a conference.

Now you may not have travel history. And your strength is in your job tie. Your answer could turn the interview toward that. For example
" No I haven't been able to travel. My job as the manager of ABC hotels has not allowed me. But I have groomed someone that can temp while I am away"
Shows a sort of structure in the office and responsibilities on your part.
NB: don't cram the above. These are mere examples. Find what works for your circumstance.

For me. After I was refused for no travel history and as a single gal, my circumstances changed. I answered like this
Q: Why is your husband not traveling with u?
A: Because we just came back from the UK and he cant take more time off work
Q: (body language loosened. Went thru my passport) oh you have traveled...
The interview could have ended without the fellow asking me if I had travelled. I could have also answered that my husband was busy only. But I made sure to use that opportunity to steer the interview to my strength.

Finally look smart and nice. Don't overdo. Mimic the body language of the interviewer. Smile if he smiles. Be merely pleasant if he isn't. Don't form Phonèy. Don't mumble. Accept any outcome. God has a plan for you either way

Single people get visas everyday.I'm a living testimony, I got my visa this January on a virgin passport. no travel history, single and no kids. Just be confident, smart and bold. Strategize answers that will convince the V.O that u have strong ties here. Goodluck

So, I think you should add 28m to the 22m that you are not using so that you will get the visa sharp sharp with 50m. Ayam not sure that 22m will be enough for Visa. Personal opinion tho.

I am already in Nigeria and besides there is high rate of denials of usa visa at Turkey
