You said no one has died and come back? Do you say that because you disbelieve the testimonies of those who had died and come back or you sincerely serious?

I know a man by name Ali Sina. An IranianEx Muslim who left Islam and became an atheist. A very firece Atheist. He had a website 'www.Faithfreedom.org. Do you know how that man became a Christian? Testimonies of NEAR DEAD EXPERIENCES.
I have had 2 near death experiences myself, one which involved me drinking all the water in the ocean at Bar Beach. So I can at least claim to know something about them. And no, neither occasion made me convert from my previously held atheism.

It's not uncommon to hallucinate when the brain is in the process of shutting down. A common variable to to stories about people seeing heaven, God, Jesus, Allah and hell when they are in the process of dying is that it is culturally specific. For instance, a Yoruba man sees a Jesus that is black man wearing agabada speaking Yoruba, a white man sees Jesus in heaven wearing suit and tie.And so on.
@the bolded. You made it up or you actually listened to anyone who died and saw a black Jesus wearing Agbada, and speaking Yoruba?

So, What happened? Did you step outside of yourself?
What did you see?

I have had one myself. I think mine was 'Out Of Body Experience', not Near Dead.

I went for a 6 hours (bone Transplant or grafting) surgery. I was told later that i regained conciousness while still on the table, so more Anaesthesia was pumped into me, i went down and went out.

I was brought out of the theater awaiting my coming to, but i didn't. The reaident doctor came for the Post.Op check only to find me still down, that was when he discovered i was out, but the Nurse by me didn't even know it.

I saw myself outside a sphere-like dome. Inside the dome where my folks and the medical team fighting to revive me. I saw everything they did and heard everthing they said. I heard the prayers my folks where praying outside the ward. I was seeing everything at once.

I heard the Doctor said to the Nurse, 'Is this how you'd have sat here and we loose her?'. I saw the Nurse crying. I saw her run to the Theatre to get an oxygen tank as the doctor instructed.

They were calling me, i heard them. I was there, but at the seem time very far from them. I answered very loudly for them to know i could hear them, they for n't need to shout, but they couldn't hear me.

I wanted to get back into the dome, but i couldn't. There was no enterance, no windows. I didn't know how i got out. My folks where crying and i needed to let them know I was fine. I felt very helpless seeing and hearing them, but they couldn't see or hear me. I wanted to back in by all means, but i couldn't.

I can't tell how i finally disappeared outside of the dome, i regained conciousness here.

I didn't see Jesus tho, i didn't see any light, but i saw myself outside of myself. I recognized myself outside of myself.

Guess what? Three days before that surgery, i dreamed it. I knew i was going to sink if i went into aurgery with serious prayer.

I was booked for that surgery, and as i got admitted, that night, i had that dream. The next day i called in the MD, (who hardly believed in God). i told him to give me three days before the surgery. He did. I fasted three days in that Hospital averting death.

If i didn't, Okpari, i for don die.

Repent? Or Believe? There is a clear difference.

To the first, I'll only sin again so why bother. Besides, why waste the blood of Christ shed to continuously wash my sins away?

To the second, I quote Alice. "There's no use trying," she said: "one can't believe impossible things."

I just saw myself drinking the water thinking "but I don full now". Next thing, I woke up lying on the beach with all these people starring at my pata majidun, which I was ashamed of. So I rudely asked, "what you all starring at?", and they all laughed. It was only later that I was informed that I'd deprived everyone from swimming in the ocean because I'd drank it all up. They'd had to press it all out of my stomach!

For my second near death, I was aware like you were, and it was in a hospital. No lights either.

Funny story is the universe we exist in has infinite possibilities... Maybe we all end up in a trap for eternity, maybe it's oblivion, reincarnation, heaven and hell, paradise for all regardless of what you've done on earth...There's no human in history that is 100% sure of what happens after death...

O, I'm sure my sins are not the greatest out there. Being an atheist does not exclude one from loving one's fellow human being. And as long as I do unto them, I'm bound to get a waiver. Not that I'd need one though.

Not at the beach. I think my mind muddled up and computed my drowning as drinking. What took seconds seemed like hours then I must have totally passed out

At the hospital one, I was semi out of it. There was a certain level of consciousness that seemed like out of body, as I could see myself and what was going on around me. At one point, I felt like laughing at all the fuss going on, and in my head, I was assuring them that I was okay.

There was an incident before those 2, now that I think of it. I was pushed off a slide and bashed my head on a stone and was out for days. All I remember is a pillow I lay on was pulled up dripping with blood. No lights then either. But.....

One day, having drunk too much, I bashed my head on a stone and saw cartoon like stars. They were very real!

@ the bolded is what am talking about. See your physical body lying there and people fussing about.dead is not painful at all. You just feel fine, normal.

For, me, it wasn't funny, because i didn't understand why my folks were crying. am here and am fine. I can see and hear everything and everone at once. My concern was why they weren't hearing me.

Theres Life after dead sir. If i didn't experience this first hand, i wld be wondering how it's like, but i had the experience myself.

Life on earth is like a dome. Like a womans womb, covered all round, you don't know how you got in, and wouldn't know how to get out except you are helped.

Like air inside a balloon.
Don't wait to die to find out, it'll be too late.

Assuming that my near death experiences are death itself is way too big a leap for me to take. I just don't think they are the same thing. I may have been unconscious perhaps, but my brain had not been starved of oxygen long enough for brain deadedness not to talk of my organs beginning to decay. And as I said, I was aware I was okay and would return.

Now, if that state had gone on long enough, I can see me panicking if I don't wake up. Then if it went on like that after I had completely died, as in not gonna return dead, I'd be watching them put me in a coffin or cremating my body and smelling the stink of my rotting flesh! If that's what people call hell, I wouldn't quibble about its existence. You might as well bury or burn me alive, for that's what it would seem like, except no one would hear me screaming.

No, they are not the same. Near Death Experience is not quite Death. That's why it says 'Near'. When in that state (as i have understood it now to be), you just got out of your body but are still right here hearing and seeing all the happenings around you. In death, i believe there's a complete disconnect with this earthly reality.
budaatum:

. I may have been unconscious perhaps, but my brain had not been starved of oxygen long enough for brain deadedness not to talk of my organs beginning to decay. And as I said, I was aware I was okay and would return.
I won't call that 'a state of unconciousness'. Unconciousness means you are unconscious. If you can hear what people around you said, and see what went on around you, then that will not be termed 'Unconsciousness'. Pls give that state a name, what will you call it?

And yes, i was also aware I was okay, but knowing i will return was something beyond me, because i didn't understand what was going on. How i got of the Dome-like sphere. Yes, i desperately wanted to get back in and let my folks know i was okay, but i was powerless as i could see and hear everything going on inside the Dome, but was locked out.

It wasn't by your power to come back or not, so saying you knew you'd return will not be quite correct. If you insist on this, then you declare that you have power over Life and Death.

budaatum:

Hmmmmm. Panicking? Panick that you couldn't wake up?
Buda, have you seen a 5D movie? While in that reality, do you feel the emotions you feel in this reality? No. While there, you are guided by totally and completely different rules. Panick ends here not there. There no Fear for you see and know all things at once.

What makes us feel fear or panick is uncertainties. There's no uncertainties there. At least i can say that from the brief experience i had, and what i heard others who had deeper and longer experiences say.

No one who ever saw that realm wished to come back here, (i mean those who saw Jesus) No one. Both little kids who came said they didn't want to come back, but didn't have to power to stay. But those who saw the fire of hell screamed from there to here begging for mercy.
If that's what people call hell, I wouldn't quibble about its existence. You might as well bury or burn me alive, for that's what it would seem like, except no one would hear me screaming.
No, dear Buda, that is not what Hellfire is. Dying, decaying, stinking, being buried or cremated is not hell as all these happens to your remains here, not to the you who stands aside watching the hullabaloo going on around the dead you.

See that part of you which left your body and was watching people fussing about, but you knowing you were okay? It is that part of you that would have gone to Hell, if you had gone further beyond watching your folks fuss over you.

If you had totally disconnected from this reality, you'd ve been led away from all you could see or hear at that time, to your resting place where you'd wait out Judgement Day.

You don't get thrown into Hellfire just yet, for the White Throne Judgement will need be set before you can be judged. And, we will all be judged at once.

But, your living condition will be far from pleasant while you waited out.

So, No, Hellfire is a far cry from what you term as Hellfire.
But, you don't have to go there o. Why go there when you can avoid it. All you need do is accept the life that Christ offers.

What is wrong in accepting everlasting Life?

Lol...I wanted to point that out but decided not to go through the stress of highlighting the numerous "stories"
we've all heard for over thousands of years but you decided to bring it up anyways so I'll have to address it
Last year if you had asked me "what happens after death?" I would have told you without thinking twice "oblivion"...Falling into a dreamless sleep for eternity..Cos no consciousness exist outside the body, everything happens in the brain,if you take pain killers, you shut down the part of the brain that has to do with feeling pain, you take drugs or alcohol you alter the activities of the brain...There's all kind of things that can alter how the brain functions...So the mad person on the street has altered his/her brain knowingly or unknowingly,so you can say that at that moment the person has lost his/her identity as a person,Amnesia another example of how powerful the brain is...Partial loss of memory after a head accident..There are very few people who have the ability to recall everything that has happened since they were babies, others have the ability to remember everything they saw during a journey and draw it accurately...I could go on but bottom line is without the brain no consciousness... That would have being my answer last year until I watched a came across a video about reincarnation stories where 3-4 year old kids are recalling their past lives and when research was done on this stories, they were accurate...This freaked me out...You can go check it out if you want...This justifies the theory of the first law of thermodynamics...
Now I never really believed in reincarnation until I watched that video...With the afterlife theory the only thing that stood against the theory of oblivion, for me it just had to be oblivion cos the afterlife is just a load of crap, mostly those that believe it's heaven or hell, until I watched the stories about reincarnation, now this was a whole new ball game...What am I to believe in anymore?Every theory has it's own glaring stories&evidences...Here's something else that shocked me..Chinese monks and chi...I never really gave it much thought, watched avatar the last air bender just like another animated series, even tho they mentioned something about chi,I never cared much about finding out what it was,how it worked,I maybe just subconsciously discarded it,just like I discard miracles until I saw a video where a dude actually set paper on fire..no use of external devices, just concentration and placing his hand lightly on the pile of paper, and it starts smoking and the next thing it's on fire...Found out that's something monks do for fun given the kind of things they can do just by channeling chi...Now what do I have to say about this?! I don't know..I was perplexed... This was a real thing, humans doing extra ordinary things(there's superhuman things that regular people do)..But bottom line is there's more to this life than meets the eye...That's why I decided to finally conclude that the universe we exist in has infinite possibilities... Whether you're a Christian, Muslim, traditionalist or whatever you believe in..You'll always get backing and evidence from the universe hence my belief that there's no true answer for the one question everybody needs an accurate answer to

I don't exactly go about my daily living racking up sin after sin you know! I'm just a regular person with regular people sin!

Besides, I've seen those who claim the power of God enters them. One swindled me out of £10,000 some years ago. And most others I've come across are regular folks like me getting through life as good as they can with regular people sin. Repentance does not make anyone perfect.

Have you ever heard of Familia Spirits? Every family have theirs. Believe it or not, it doesn't matter. Infact satan likes it better if you don't believe he exists.

I don't doubt reincarnation because i know familia spirits deceiving the New Agers are responsible for deceit of reincarnation.

Let me explain what reincarnation is. In all cultures, societies, civilizations, there are entities both terrestrial, celestial and Marine who are in charge of affairs of human.(Principalities and Powers). These entities attach themselves to family bloodlines following them from generations on end, reigning, ruling and influencing those families. Deciding what happens.

They take individuals as host, making those individuals do their biddings,(demon possession), when those individuals grow old and die, the demons leaves those bodies and enters the next person. Most times while still in the womb, transferring the memories of the previous host they took to the new host. When that new host begins to receive signals from the demons living in them about the previous host, they tell you the spirit of the old is living in the New. Taaaa.

And, causing fire to burn paper without external fire is magic. And magic profits no man. Magic is satanic.

Poor you, you are drawn towards the negative.

My dear, the Word says, 'By their fruits you shall know them', not by their words. Many are called, but some are thieves.

That shouldn't make you enter hell. Be the one who is different.

Well, my fruit is not the worst fruit out there.

If I believed hell exists, and if I did not want to end up there, I guess I would buy a ticket to somewhere better. But as it is, I don't believe hell or somewhere better exists.

Lmaooooooo
You can do better than familia spirits,I'm seriously not going continue on that path...Cos it's gonna be brain draining
It's funny you call making fire without external sources "magic" grin...Just go check out on google, people with superhuman powers, not really superhuman but somehow within the billons of humans that have existed and are still existing, there had to be alterations, processes that didn't go according to plan...We see some of this people in the Guinness book of records, people who defy the laws of nature...People who can fit into a box, like they're seriously flexible etc...There's blind people who can do things that normal people do (like play video games, ride bicycles on the street, walk around the house) they taught themselves something called echo location(check that out)...There's people who can create electricity(boil water) with their bodies...Before you brand everything that you can't comprehend as magic, try to understand that in this world everything is possible and the universe doesn't give a damn what you think is possible or not...Your stuck on the most basic level of understanding how life really works...You've decided to stick with what most normal humans are allowed to understand
Open your mind grin....Life is unfathomable...What you think you know is nothing(no offence)

Pity we wouldn't be able to say, "I told you so", or be able to inform others. We could have put it on video!

But let me introduce you to someone who claims to have been to heaven and hell.

Emanuel Swedenborg published De Caelo et Eius Mirabilibus et de inferno, ex Auditis et Visis (Heaven and its Wonders and Hell, From Things Heard and Seen) in 1758. It gives a detailed description of the afterlife, how people live after the death of the physical body. The link is to a pdf download. Have a look at and tell me what you make of it.

What do you mean by "guys like you". Are we some special category of people.

I'm listening to Laryn Hill, playing chess and spending time with family. Was going to go to the movies, but its way too cold outside.
