Hello guru's in nairaland... Is there anything wrong for a married man to apply for B1-B2 visa along without his wife and kids. Or is advisable for both couples to apply for visa. Because I intend to apply for the visa alone without my wife.... Please advise.

Re: USA Visit Visa Part 3 by phembeth1: 11:09am On Mar 04, 2018
I have actually been denied USA visa twice 2014 and 2016 respectively. In 2014 I applied for a conference on EVAPO-transpiration organized by America society of Agriculture and Biological Engineers as a married man and in 2016 a conference organized by the same body on Youth Development Program of the same Society which I'm a member( annual dues and conference fees paid promptly) but still denied the visa. I have Divorced my Ex-wife whose name was included 2014 and I remarried same year. Now please I need possible question I may be asked by the VO. My interview is coming up in few days time and I applied for vacation to DALLAS with my new wife(name used in 2016) married for 4 years and 3 years old son. I'm the Managing Director of my company that is into AGRIC-business ( both science and Engineering) and my salary is a bit below 400k while my wife is a sub-distributor of Dangote noddles, sugar, floor and pasta. she has an Income of about 600k monthly and a rebate of between 1.5m-2m Quarterly that varies according to her patronage. I have a Ghana work permit in 2010 to 2011 which I went there as a water resource manager for an Agric company(stayed just few months to train their staff) KENYA twice on vacation once and a day stop over the second time, South Africa for America society of Agriculture and Biological Engineers conference and Ghana for honey moon with my wife in 2014, new year vacation with my wife and son in 2016.
what are my chances this time around, and what are the possible questions and queries I may come accross

Pls US Visa Gurus in the house, just wana know MY chances of Having My Visa being Approved
I am 26, A Penultimate (4 years gone remaining just a year) Mechanical Engineering Student, I would be visiting My Uncle soon after My current Industrial Training and He is gona be the sole sponsor of the trip, He is ready to send all necessary documents,
1, Would The VO accept a Letter Of Introduction From My Current School just to prove that I am truly Thier Student and would definitely come back to complete My Course?
2, What are the necessary document(s) do they (VO) gona request from My Uncle?
3, Am expecting a letter of Invitation from Him, would The VO ask for it when I tell I am going to Visit My Uncle?
4, If in answering any question and there is a document(s) to support it, do I wait for The VO to request for it or I could just show or pass it over Myself?
Thanks in anticipation
You have a lot of issues to surmount and my advice is for you to calm down and wait till you have good ties. Although we're not V.O and can't decide for you and if you insist you can still go ahead with your application.

I don't remember being asked, but I'm certain what I filled as the reason for initial denial may have counted.

I used the same data from the first form and reiterated all the ties I had - financial, familial etc

I also mentioned travel history breaking it down by cities visited e.g Southern african tour in 2013 saw me visiting - Joburg, Capetown in South Africa, Maputo in Mozambique and Maseru in Lesotho.

Finally I asked them to verify my details for work by checking my LinkedIn profile ( gave them my name as it appeared) as I really was going to US as it had 3 of my travel bucket list cities.

This was me being super honest and I like to believe it made all the difference.
lol please do how have any info about lesotho, a friend of mine based there want to send an iv to me. I plan to start a cable satellite business there. Though I have asked him about it, he said that Ict business is growing steadily there. I want to be sure before embarking on the journey.

I can't tell you your chances, I'm not God
I can't also tell you likely questions. You can deduce that from the transcripts already posted.
However, I'll tell you what you didn't ask

I don't believe your story. I believe you misrepresented the first time. Applied 2014. Got divorced 2014. Remarried 2014. What a busy year.
I know the process of divorce in Naija and the expected time frame...
My advice for you is to jettison this story and come clean to avoid waste of funds. If I'm this sceptical, imagine the VO's own.
If I'm wrong, apologies. Just stating my view

Where you stamped in, did you come out of the airport, I mean did you get approval from border control to get past? If not, NO, that's not "a country you have been to" in this context even though you "passed through" it.

@LadyGuinivere] thanks for your observation... It looks unnreal anyway but thas just thee true situation, the first Lady actually got pregnant for me and I decide to take her as wife a and we formalised it and that's why I used her but unfortunately when she started misbehaving I changed my mind and married my then girl friend... So my story was real. I have a genuine court divorce approval
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 3 by KaptainAfrika: 6:43pm On Mar 04, 2018
1. Have you finalised your divorce?
2. Do you have evidence of the divorce document?
3. How long were you married to your first wife?
4. Is the American Society of Agriculture an international body? why are you paying dues to an American based body that is not international?
5. In my opinion, you may have a tie and/or credibility issue, if you can show evidence for Q1 and Q2 you may be fine.

To be honest, I don’t know if this America regime don’t want us to visit their country again. Only 1percent always get the visa daily and the rest 99perent are denial so I pray u will be among the 1percent on that day.

And you likely just lied! Visa issuance is almost not affected just yet as we may want to portray. If the ties are right and clear, visa will be issued, this is standard.
