Good evening all. Just started following this travel section late last year. We were at the embassy in Jan 2017 as a family and we were denied. Here goes our transcript :
Vo: Goodmorning
Hubby: Goodmorning
Vo: passport pls
Hubby gives him all four passport
Vo noticed my hubby just renewed his 2yrs UK visa and he took his passport and went to check something out.
Vo: directed his question at me have you travelled outside the country before?
Me:yes pls
Vo: When?
Me: 2014
Vo: Where
Me:UK
Vo took our passport and confirmed the previous travel visa.
Vo: What are you going to do in the US?
Hubby: we re going get on vacation
VO: Where?
Hubby:Houston
Vo: Any family in Houston?
Hubby:No
Vo: What would you do there
Hubby : we would visit bla bla bla
Vo: what do you do
Hubby: I work with bla bla
Vo: as what
Hubby:Sales manager
Vo: typing as he was asking and drinks from a water bottle while just staring at us
Vo:How much do you earn
Hubby: bla bla I also earn commission and quarterly pay amounting to bla bla
Vo: So ma'am what do you do
Me: I work with bla bla bla as bla
Vo: How much do you earn
Me: I told him
Vo: How much do you plan for this trip?
Hubby: without think said 3.5M
Vo: How much do you have in your bank account now
Hubby : 1.8 as at today but I have my quarterly payment for 2 quarters which will come in this week and will raise my Bal to 4.2.
Vo drank again and asked me ma'am can you confirm for me how much your husband has for this trip(I just sensed something wasn't right) I confirm same amount.
Vo :So how is business right now?
Hubby :said business was fine bla bla bla
Vo: looked at the four of us and said am sorry but you do not qualify for a visa today and hands over the blue paper. Hubby was stunned
We had promised our kids we would take them to the US in April 2017 during the Easter period and my kids didn't understand we were not given visa, they just want a vacation. So I applied for UK visa along with my kids since my hubby had already and we went to the UK for our Easter vacation.
Now we're ready to visit again this time in summer. I want to change our destination to Disney land florida, would this raise any question on why the change of destination and is our ties strong enough to get the visa because we re still going as a family.

All your ties is in Nigeria which is a good thing... I personally do not see you as an intending immigrant... My advice for you is to be honest and answer the question truthfully.... if they asked why you're not a british citizen yet you can always tell them both of you are not ready for the stress involve in doing it.

Before u visit any of the VO take one bottle of monkey tail and drag one wrap of cannibis, U are good to go but make sure you brush after that, smoking is 5 and 6 with the whites. So ginger your morale and it would conquer your fear. Shalom

Me : yes I've been to the UK many times for holiday, Hong-Kong for business and Turkey just on a day visit due to having a 24hrs layover. (note my 5-year UK visit visa just expired last month)

Vo: can I see your previous passports

Me:Handed them to her

Vo:How many cars have u sold in the past one year

Me :surprised, I said 10 altogether

VO: Do u have any document like Bill of Lading to that effect

Me: Yes, I brought out 2 bills of Lading covering 7 vehicles

Me :Yes 7 imported from abroad and 3 bought locally

VO: thank u for the information provided, hope u don't mind me keeping the 2 bills of Lading. Brought out a white paper and circled Administrative Processing. We will contact u via email or text message as soon as we are through.

Me: No problems and thank u. (note: my 3 passports are with them). It's my first time of applying so I kind of don't know what to expect. No other document was checked.
Pls gurus in the house enlighten me on the likely outcome of the Administrative Processing.

She and her husband are using joint account. Am thinking of telling my Anuty and informing her. The VO may decide to contact her.. My interview is tomorrow in Abuja.
