Jesus said my Kingdom is not from this source, which means Jesus won't rule with people who are under Satan's manipulations, that's why those that He trained for that purpose must be willing to surrender totally to His humble personality! Sorry Jesus' friends can't rule with Satan.John 14:30,2Corinthians 4:4,1John 5:19
Really? Then why did Paul the Apostle Preach to Ceasars household?
I hope you have 1tim1 in ur Bible
1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men
2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. note
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

Meanwhile, i noticed how you have avoided all the questions i asked up there..

Wait let me get one thing straight

Do you believe it's wrong to defend yourself?
Well i'll answer from the perspective of my Master Lord and King (Jesus Christ). There's nothing wrong in protecting myself and my family by making sure i'm living as simple as possible not a "materialistic or notice me lifestyle"! So that i won't have to be worried about defending the things that the nations are eagerly pursuing. These are what they're trying to accumulate and protect that's leading them to killing whoever is coming to steal from them. Now if i should kill an unbeliever and i'm sure i've jeopardized his chances of repentance just because of worldly possessions, of what benefit is my Faith? So according to Jesus it's better to be killed as a Christian than to kill! Because a Christian is saved but the murderer must repent to be saved.

Nice Thread so far. I'm Not a JW but I think they are more grounded in scriptural knowledge than those who oppose them grin. I might not also agree with all their teaching either kiss

Some people just hate them for no specific reason.

But if you look at all the seven churches in Revelation none really got it 100% right either. So don't sweat it guys cheesy

America is the last world power that both Daniel and Revelations prophesied about, remember the last worldly government will be passing rulership from one person to another and one tribe to another as in at appointed times. Daniel 2:44 That's the feet of iron that can't mix with clay. Unlike those prior to that time ancient Kings do have absolute power so they don't need to consider what the people think before they act but under America's democracy, rulers are looking unto their people for re~contesting. All of them are useless because Satan is using them to oppose God's authority, that's why having a human King sound so evil in the sight of Samuel because all those Nations having Kings Satan can easily manipulate! 1Samuel 8:6

Sir i've told you before but perhaps i should rephrase it. I'm not a Jew so i've got nothing to gain for debating over there language or names, what interests me is the invincibility and wisdom of their God. I want to worship a God that can explain to me Why i'm here? Why people are dying? What happens at death? When will crime, injustice and suffering ends? Why are there so much religions? What will be the end of all badness? And many more. Well i've found answers to all these questions in a book that they claim to have been inspired by their God! So that's why i'm determined to worship their God. Jehovah,Yahweh or whatever their God is called by name will be my God. But the name Jehovah has been accepted generally for centuries and it's evident that those championing this name are doing so well to me that's why I have no objections, you can choose to call any name you feel i'm comfortable with Jehovah and HIS witnesses!

After the Antichrist has silenced pure worship for centuries it was difficult for God's people to start all over again so Jesus intervened and during His inspection of all forms of worship He chose a small group that's ever ready to adjust. Yes! It was rough and tough when we began during the 19/20th centuries as international Bible students but today we're known throughout the Earth as Jehovah's witnesses. Of course all those who made a lot of sacrifices contributing to the success of this organization are Jehovah's witnesses as well. Note that it was Isaiah who lived almost 2000 years after Abel that Jehovah inspired to tell Israelites that all those who have served HIM faithfully are Jehovah's witnesses! Isaiah 43:12 compared to Hebrews 11:4-23/12:1 The group name most religion cherished so much today(Christians)was given to Christ's followers in Antioch by ridiculers to vilify them but the divine name God wants all HIS faithful worshippers including Jesus Himself to be called is "Jehovah's witnesses".Hebrews 12:1 note that chapter 11 listed names of those who worshiped God before Christ and please compare to Revelations 1:5. As for the divine name YHWH Well it was transliterated from Yahweh to Jehovah so if you're disagreeing with the use of the name then you should also disagree with the use of Jesus as it's the transliteration of Yeshua(the original pronunciation of Jesus in Hebrew) and all other biblical names that has been transliterated Thank you Sir!

What do you know about Jehovah’s Witnesses? Some people have called them Christian propagandists, a new Christian cult, a Christian sect influenced by Judaism, or fanatics who reject medical treatment. Actually, the Witnesses are none of these things. Why do some people think such things about them? Mostly because those people have been given wrong information.

As their name shows, Jehovah’s Witnesses are Witnesses for Jehovah. Who is Jehovah? Jehovah is the name that Almighty God gives to himself in the pages of the Bible.* It is a personal name, not a title like God or Lord. In a general sense, throughout history anyone who witnesses to God’s glory could be called a witness of Jehovah.—Exodus 3:13, 15; Isaiah 43:10.

Thus, the Bible, when listing a long line of faithful men of old starting with Abel, calls them “so great a cloud of witnesses.” (Hebrews 11:4; 12:1) Outstanding individuals, such as Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, and David, are listed as God’s witnesses—witnesses of Jehovah. Jesus Christ is called “the faithful and true witness.”—Revelation 3:14.

Why Witnesses Are Needed

The Bible says that man was created perfect and placed in a paradise. The Creator made him with the ability to live forever, to have children, and to extend the boundaries of his Paradise home worldwide. At that time man knew his God, and there was no need for witnesses.—Genesis 1:27, 28.

God endowed man with free will, but our first parents made a wrong decision. They chose to be independent of him. Hence, while God remains perfect, just, and pure, mankind on earth became sinful and unrighteous. Nevertheless, our holy God will allow sin and wickedness to continue only for a limited period of time. The Bible indicates that we are near the end of that divinely permitted time period. So that mankind can know these things, He has preserved His Word—the Torah, the Psalms, and the Gospel—down to our day.

Since most humans do not know God, he has commanded faithful humans to witness about him. To such faithful ones he says: “You are my witnesses.” (Isaiah 43:10) About the work they accomplish, he says: “This good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations.”—Matthew 24:14.

Today, more people than ever before, from all races, languages, and nations, are honestly investigating God’s Word. They have found that many religious customs are of pagan origin and are displeasing to God.

As you may know, some have used religion for commercial purposes. Others have used it to further their political ends or to get rich at the expense of the poor. How do you think such religious profiteers react when a true witness about God is given? Obviously, they feel threatened. That is one reason why you may hear some speak evil of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Whatever the cost, Jehovah’s Witnesses adhere closely to the Bible. They have not invented a new religion. They merely follow what is written in the Torah, the Psalms, and the Gospel, which is the foundation of true religion. What, then, do they believe? Below are listed some of their teachings. Read and see whether these have the ring of truth or not.

No Trinity

The Bible does not teach the Trinity doctrine. Rather, it says that there is only one true and eternal God. “Jehovah our God is one Jehovah.” (Deuteronomy 6:4) He is the Creator—eternal, almighty, without equal. Jesus is not Almighty God. Jesus lived on earth as a perfect man and died for imperfect mankind. God kindly accepted the life of Jesus as a ransom, and thus through him is the salvation of the faithful. This is God’s will.—Luke 22:42; Romans 5:12.

No Immortal Soul

What happens to people when they die? God’s Word says: “The living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all.” (Ecclesiastes 9:5) Man does not have an immortal soul. People who think they are talking to the dead are really communicating with demons. Similarly, prayers for the dead benefit no one except the clergy who are paid to utter them.

Resurrection

Man’s real hope is the resurrection, the coming forth of the dead to an earth restored to Paradise conditions. Those who have served God will be blessed for their faithfulness. Those who have died without finding God will have that opportunity then. Thus, “there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” (Acts 24:15) Only those whom God judges unworthy will not receive a resurrection.

No Hellfire

A loving God would not create a place where the dead suffer eternally. God himself described the burning and torturing of humans as “a thing that I had not commanded and that had not come up into my heart.”—Jeremiah 7:31.

No Fate

God does not write anything on the foreheads of people. There is no fate that determines our future before we are born. We are responsible for what we do, for the choices we make. “Each of us will render an account for himself to God.”—Romans 14:12.

No Clergy Class

Everyone dedicated to God is equal in His eyes. True worshipers are all brothers and sisters. God did not appoint an elevated clergy class. Jesus said: “Everyone that exalts himself will be humiliated, but he that humbles himself will be exalted.” (Luke 18:14) God will judge adversely those who through religion elevate themselves over others.—Matthew 23:4-12.

No Idolatry

“God is a Spirit, and those worshiping him must worship with spirit and truth.” (John 4:24) True worshipers do not use idols.

Neutral in Politics

Jesus said his followers would be “no part of the world.” (John 17:16) Hence, Jehovah’s Witnesses do not interfere in national or local politics. Further, they are a law-abiding people.—Romans 13:1, 5-7.

High Moral Standards

Jesus described how to recognize true worshipers when he said: “This is my commandment, that you love one another just as I have loved you.” (John 15:12, 13) Another chapter in the Bible says: “The fruitage of the spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, mildness, self-control.” (Galatians 5:22, 23) Those manifesting these qualities do not lie, steal, gamble, abuse drugs, or commit sexual immorality. (Ephesians 4:25-28) They love God, so they avoid things that God hates. These principles govern the lives of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

The Approaching End of This World

What makes our time different from other times? Fulfillment of prophecy shows that we are living in the last days of this system of things, this world. (Daniel 2:44) Today, the issue is, Do the things we do please God? God is one, and there can be only one true religion. This religion cannot be out of harmony with the Torah, the Psalms, and the Gospel. Hence, we must examine that Word.

That is what Jehovah’s Witnesses do. Whatever your religion, you need to do the same. Nobody can make a decision for you in this regard. Remember: “Each of us will render an account for himself to God.”—Romans 14:12.

No individual is born a Witness of Jehovah. Every single Witness makes a personal decision. After making an honest search of God’s Word, the searcher recognizes truth, and on this basis he dedicates himself to the true God, whose name is Jehovah. If you would like to make a similar investigation, please write to one of the addresses below.

In the world of Islam, the Bible consists of the books known as the Torah, the Psalms, and the Gospel. At least 64 verses of the Koran speak of these books as the Word of God and emphasize the need to read them and to carry out their commands. Some assert that the Torah, the Psalms, and the Gospel have been changed. However, to say this is to ignore the words of the Koran and to say that God cannot preserve his Word.

Unless otherwise indicated, all Bible quotations are from the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures.

You believe no clergy class as all are equal in God's sight?

You have the governing body to branch overseers to circuit overseers to congregation overseers.

You have elders, ministerial servants, pioneers (auxiliary or regular)
And you say there is no clergy class?

Your organization in law courts claim they have clergy because they want the privileges given to the clergy.

You say all are equal in God's sight yet your governing body teaches you and forces you to believe that they and the ones that claim to be abnointed will go to heaven while you their followers will inherit earth. Haba who do you want to lie to?

You say there is high moral standard. I need a reference for this claim that isn't a watchtower organization. Do you know watchtower harbours and support pedophiles, rapists and women beaters? Do you know they punish the victims and let the perpetrators go free? High moral standards indeed.

For over 140 years you have been preaching end is near. You have even given different false dates. Its no news.

So that's why i'm determined to worship their God.
ok. You have found these answers, have you also found the answers to how you can be free from sin even as a human? Hope you realize without Holiness, no man shall see God? Heb12:14

Jehovah,Yahweh or whatever their God is called by name will be my God. But the name Jehovah has been accepted generally for centuries and it's evident that those championing this name are doing so well to me that's why I have no objections, you can choose to call any name you feel i'm comfortable with Jehovah and HIS witnesses!
you accept the name that was not derived by you "Jesus chosen" society but from a" devil controlled" church?..

America is the last world power that both Daniel and Revelations prophesied about, remember the last worldly government will be passing rulership from one person to another and one tribe to another as in at appointed times.
so u know a little about Daniel prophecy but feigned ignorance to the fact dat the Grecian empire existed before Roman empire?
Well dat ur interpretation is even false. And by the way, America is only a world power and not and empire.. Right now there are so many world powers.. G8, G20 etc

1Samuel 8:6
how come the so called world power doesn't have enough power to stop the killing of Christians and promote freedom of expression in Islamic societies? Or did Jehovah only sent you to places where freedom of expression exists

Good! So you admit that Christians have nothing to do with politics, that's really amazing! So how can Constantine(a politician) who rose after the death of all those faithful men governing the activities of the Christians be a true Christian? Because Jesus refused to be a politician and asked an incumbent politician to drop politics and follow Him to become as wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove.John 6:15,Luke 18:22,
When did the bible say Jesus Christ refused to be a politician? You just assume anything and think it is true.
Jesus Christ asking an incumbent politician to follow him doesn't mean he (Jesus Christ) refused to be a politician.
Saying Jesus Christ refused to become a politician is cunningly deceitful. It's not stated in bible. Because you want your idea to sound true, you argue from silence so you assumption will look true to people who are ignorant about the bible.
Stop peddling false statement

Be mixing scriptures with assumption so it will sound right in your ear.

Sorry Sir, Jesus according to John 1:1 "WAS God" meaning Jesus acted as God at a point in time just like Moses.Exodus 7:1 But both Moses and Jesus will render an account before the person who assigned them to act in HIS behalf that's "the Almighty God!" 1Corinthians 15:26/27 That's why Moses prophesied about Jesus as a Prophet like him. Deuteronomy 18:15-18 compare to Act 3:22. So Jesus "the word WAS God" but presently He is humbly standing beside His father who is also our father and His God who is also our God. John 20:17 Act 7:55

So why would , for example, Jesus use the term I AM (John 8 vs 48-59) to describe Himself , similar to God's statement in Exodus 3 vs 14? God continues to tell Moses, "tell them, I AM has sent Me to you"..... That was the reason for the opposition he faced.

You pick scriptures were Jesus deliberately distances himself as God (cause of people he was discussing with at a point) and ignore the scripture He fully express his divinity.

If we're just picking scriptures and leaving other scriptures, that means we're just like any other religious group claiming Christian, well that's our own understanding of the scriptures so you can present your own understanding of the scriptures too.One thing that distinguish US is we're standing out as unique and never going to agree with interfaith meaning we can live together peacefully, we can work together diligently, we can eat together but as regards SACRED SERVICES will do ours separately. If you're asking a question, why not ask without accusations? These are the world powers from 1-7 respectively Egypt, Assyria(Southern Iran),Babylonian(Iraq),Medes and Persia(Orientals with Northern Iran),Greece,Rome,England and America. The seven heads of the beast means seven dynasties and ten horns means there are some of them that formed Alliance as two in one government.Destruction of innocent souls is the main intention of Satan(John 10:10) so it will continue until Jesus overthrow Satan. Daniel 2:44,Matthew 6:10 But the most important feature of the end time is that despite all the killings going on God's people will be preaching throughout the Earth either formally or informally(Matthew 24:3-14) well for your information Jehovah's witnesses are in every country on Earth but we're only noticed where there's freedom of expression. That's why God's Spirit is manipulating the United Nations to enforce freedom of expression throughout the world and any country not in agreement with that condition is sanctioned. As for the G2 or G8 please read that account of the wild beast in the book of Revelations again, you'll notice that the scriptures says all those falling Nations aren't totally dead but instead they're ruling together as one under the leadership of the eight and last world power! We only explain what God revealed when we see humble ones but i'm doing this for the sake of those who may pick interest and decided to know more! If you read Revelations 6:1-8 there are four riders, the first is our Master Lord and King (Jesus Christ) in the Spirit realms He's conquering all forms of false worship with the message of His servants that's why we're penetrating everywhere with the good news of God's Kingdom. That's not the answer to the question asked... Since you are supposedly Christians . I will be really shocked if you avoid this Bible common truth.

Jesus Christ used a God term for himself in the scriptures I quoted. kindly answer.

We're not for arguments but setting matters straight with the aid of the scriptures,(2Timothy 3:16/17)if you're not interested in setting matters straight then we're asked to avoid unnecessary arguments!(Phillipians 2:14)This is the Answer. After Adam and Eve have demanded privacy from God, HE sent them out of Eden, and that's when Jesus started acting as God because of all the creatures God used Jesus to make He loved humans most. Proverbs 8:30 Whenever people hears any voice, vision or dreams the voice they're voice Jesus' that's why He's called the word because every sacred secret heard got to us through Him, So when you read anything about Jehovah in the Old Testament the Spirit representing the Almighty is another mighty Spirit(Jesus) His assignment as God stopped when God transformed Him into a child in the womb of Mary. So if Jesus say I AM know that His voice was heard then but because after His earthly assignment He has to stand at the right hand of His God and John wrote the Gospel years later that's why John could say "the word (Jesus) WAS God" he can't say "is God" as Jesus is no more serving that purpose again since God has anointed or adopted humans as Sons with the Spirit. But we shouldn't forget that all these reconciliation couldn't have been possible without the one who stood for US before God and that person is no other than our redeemer "Jesus". He WAS God during the reconciliation process. John 1:1/14

Jesus becomes the most important person both in Heaven and on Earth because HE was able to reconcile humans back to His father who created us in HIS image through the self sacrificing Spirit He displayed.(Matthew 28:18) When God said "let us make the last creature in our image" the person HE was taking to was HIS first creature the only one created directly by God HIMSELF that mighty Spirit being is Jesus. Genesis 1:28 compare to Proverbs 8:22-31 So when He said "before Abraham was born i existed" He was talking about His prehuman existence as a mighty Spirit being! But there is someone who created Him. Jesus is also called the Alfa and Omega meaning Beginning and Ending because He's the beginning of creation but the Almighty God has no beginning!

where on earth did Daniel see 7kingdoms? Was there any time the Egyptians ruled the whole world? In that vision Daniel saw 5 kingdom... The Babylonian, Medo-persian, Greecian, Roman and Coming kingdom of the messiah..The Roman empire only disintegrated and there has been several attempts to unite it wch has failed.. The antichrist will succeed in uniting all the kingdoms of the world again and the Kingdom of Christ shall break his kingdom to poeces

Wrong. the first person He created was Adam. vs 27. And He created them two. MALE AND FEMALE. So in your explanations, Jesus and His female version?

Second bolded wrong again. Jesus knew some grammar and the Jews also. He said, before Abraham was, I AM ( NOT I WAS, OR I EXISTED . The Jews knew what he said!

Well if you want to know more just signify by asking! Egypt and Assyria have fallen when God show Daniel the vision, Nebuchadnezzar is the head of gold but if you compare what Daniel saw with that of John you'll notice that five have fallen and the one present during the time John was writing the book of Revelation is Rome. Revelation 17:10 So you can now try to find out how the fallen numbered up to five if you're not convinced about Egypt and Assyria.
