Smh. The National I.D I applied for over 2 to 3 years now that they have refused to give me.

Let them even come and collect my passport or refuse to let me renew it again na.

Well I just got my NIN slip yesterday and maybe by the time I born my 2nd child, I go get am. Useless country

The NIMC slip is valid. Banks use as valid id card. It has your NIN number on it. They want your NIN. Its on the slip

Nonsense, I did mine since 2013 till date I couldn't get the permanent ID, I just dey carry paper upandan. Rubbish NIMC, Immigration too no get head. Nigeria is fully messed up

Am amazed how people are saying i don't have the ID, that means most people only read the headline or maybe they don't understand what they are reading, it says ur national ID number, with ur temporary ID which was issued immediately u can get the no[left][/left] cool

Can I use the temporary one given to me to do some verification stuffs online and bank stuff (I opened a bank account, my money is in there for almost a year because the order of my name on my account is different from the one on BVN, so I'm unable to withdraw from my account. I hope the temporary National ID card will solve the shii?)

To the IPOB that are not Nigerians but wanted to travel with Nigerian Passport, will you go and get Israeli ID Card to apply for Nigerian Passport before it is too late

Wahlahi ....we play too much in this country ....imagine all the dependencies. How does one without a National Voters Card get National ID or vice versa?

Lol, we punish ourselves too much in this country. The government only adds the icing. To process National ID, you need to have a form of National validated ID (voters card, Int’l Passport, Driver’s licence etc) + BVN. To get a validated ID or BVN, you need to also have a VALID validated ID.

There is no way any of it is going to be easy looking at it all through. I learnt the slip can be collected same day but you’d be told to come back in 1week or 2.

The govt. is not the problem because we decide the government.
