I think this would depend on the college. Contact the college's admissions office by via email to confirm.

Errm, i would actually suggest we tackle whatsoever it is here so others can benefit and learn a thing or two. I may help privately if it's a review of SOP.

Well Bro , I reason and totally agree with you.but I'm actually trying to reach you for a different reason entirely, ergo I earnestly entreat you to grant me an audience

Thank you .

Hello guys,

Please if I book a flight which will pass through UK, will I need a transit VISA? I heard I'll need one for USA. Is it the same for UK?
How many hours stop-over and which airline?

Hello house
Please I need someone in Quebec that can make clarifications to me as per CAQ. I submitted my application for CAQ already and got a notification that my documents aren't complete. That the admission letter from Concordia University wasn't signed by registrar. It was the dean that signed the admission offer.
Please it's urgent

Get back to the school and inform them of the development. Mine was signed by the registrar. Let me know where I can be of help.

There is always more to 'purpose of visit' refusal of a study permit application. Most pointers or review without it would leave the main and actual reason(s)as the visa officer's inference on the GCMS always is the first point of review by another visa officer should you reapply. It is smart to work with the GCMS note in further considerations. I advise you wait for it and then it would be easier to deliberate from there to proffer a better solution.

Regards.

Thanks a lot. This is noted.

Hello everybody
I studied Biology in the university and graduated 2010, I have never worked as a biologist, I have worked as a teacher and a car sales man. Last year I started my web development business and registered it with CAC, I learnt web development on my own and built an online ecommerce business. Now I am applying for a 2yr diploma in full-stack web and app development program in Canada. I want to ask a couple of questions

1) Can I sponsor myself from my business account which has enough funds in it and has been active with daily transactions for the last 1year
2) would my change in career affect my application

NB the business is a sole proprietorship

You are good to go, change in career shouldn’t affect your visa as academic progression by the VOs is measured either in what you studied last in school or done as employment after graduation. My only concern with your case is justifying why a 2 year diploma instead of a masters directly. If you can justify this, you should be fine. Yes you may sponsor yourself if you have enough money to prove to cover one year at least and evidence that funds will be forthcoming in subsequent years.

Doing a New SOP without GCMNOTES? bad idea, the reason for you denial may just be for a document not included, and how do you know if you didnt wait for GCMNOTE? another denial.

I never mentioned in my post that I will not wait for the GCSM notes.

I emphasized that I drafted another SOP in readiness for the GCSM note. Of course, I don't wish for denial in my second attempt.

If you have no time to wait for Gcms and your deferral is the last available, you can go ahead and submit application without Gcms notes. I know someone who refiled application without Gcms notes, responding only to the generic denial checked and was approved.

Wow.... Thanks. I will wait as I need to understand the main issues.

I think I still have time on my side as school resumes 23 Sept. I want members to deliberate my issues before firing back. shocked

God bless you for tour quick response.....about the diploma the school is a designated learning institute that offers hands on training in computer coding for anybody with a passion for coding. They don't offer a masters program

Hmm. Mhen, those guys are too unpredictable. How can they be doing only background checks for five weeks gone? Sure eligibility review not also running?

You know initially I kept wondering, but then hearing diferent versions on here I just concluded everyone's case can't be the same.
Background check- we are processing your background check.......
Eligibility still shows 'your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility.

Yeah, everyone's case is different. That's why we have to be careful in trying to dictate to others. We just advise and let them decide...

We have seen in previous times where an application was refused because of the integrity of the scholarship body and it's failure in remittance of funds. As a matter of fact, i am helping a fellow overcome this issue.

While it would be okay using just the scholarship letter as proof of award of scholarship, ensure your co-sponsor show credibility and reliability to a substantial extent. Uncle is a 3rd party sponsorship and as such would need to show some level of commitment towards your study and also state that he would be your support financially should the scholarship body fail to remit funds to you in time.

I now advise people to use a DEED of GIFT for funds transferred from a 3rd party in addition to the affidavit of sponsorship with a cogent reason for expending such funds towards the applicant's study if possible. This is a document that can be tendered as evidence that the 3rd party has willingly gifted the funds and no refund is expected.

Add his statement of account and also include all evidence and proof of his income/source.

Regards.
Please explain more on the deed of gift
