While i was an undergraduate student, I was denied a VAF1 tourist visa into the UK in 2012 on my old passport(My only attempt at travelling) for purpose of visit and current circumstances in Nigeria , should I state it under travel history in my application. And will my denial into the UK affect my current application? Please help

Emirates. Stopover of 6 hrs
I don't think it will be an issue, since its not up to 12hours, but to be on a safer side contact Emirates airline to verify

You should state it.Your UK denial or any other denial(even if it was Canada) won't affect your new application, so feel free to state it without fear

Proof of their source of income. They should write a letter of support each stating why they want to sponsor you.

At a certain stage where you are asked to select either Passport or birth information, choose birth information. Also, make sure u select "Study Permit" and not "Temporary Resident Visa"

Cheers!

On point 2. There is actually a tab for SOP or LOE on the online application. It is listed as Client Information, if you click on the question mark by the side it tells you what the tabs are for.

hello Gurus,

Please does the applicant need a medical insurance as part of documents to submit at the point of application(online route)? because an agent was talking about IGI and all.

Also, Im hearing people talk about home Ties, in the case of my wife-to-be application, her bro is her sponsor and her office has granted her study leave in writing, does she still need any home ties again? if yes, what suggestions?

Maybe i didnt get the meaning of "drafted" i assume it is the same as writing a new SOP, ... Submit the very same documents you submitted at first, avoid complicating issues by bringing in new things that were not in the first application , unless stated, They are humans. Another VO can even approve the very same thing another VO rejected. WAIT FOR GCMNOTES!!!!
rolorolo:

I never mentioned in my post that I will not wait for the GCSM notes.

I emphasized that I drafted another SOP in readiness for the GCSM note. Of course, I don't wish for denial in my second attempt.

I am applying online.

If you are applying online, your passport won’t be collected down until it is requested for when your visa is approved. Showing them your passport during biometric is for identification. I don’t know if your bio data page can suffice. Passport is written on that biometric letter, not bio-data page.

My advice is to get things done with your passport then you can use your passport for other purpose. One of the advantages of applying online is also when you are a frequent traveler.

Just take 3 photocopies of your datapage alongside your biometric request lettter with #450 naira

Well ma, it is like this: you need Deed Of Gift or Deed of Transfer to be a legal owner of land before you do Survey Plan.

You can't do Evaluation of Property without survey plans.

So you see, they are important. But Deed of Gift or Transfer and Survey Plan will suffice
