No, it gets hot when i put battery inside it even though i dont put the phone on. e.g i put the ba3 of anoda s3 that was 82% charged into my phone, the phone gradually started heating up, (mind u i havent even put the phone on) i left it for like 30 mins and removed the ba3 and put it back into the s3 i removed it from, and it had gone down to 14%. my phone will only start cooling when u remove the ba3, or if the ba3 is dead. its like the phone is rapidly sucking away the energy in any ba3 u put in it and then heating up. if i try to charge the ba3 it will show me a yellow triangle with a thermometer and go blank.

I’m suspecting ur panel since u don’t need to put it on charge before it gets hot. If it gets hot while charging only that means it’s just charging flex. I have a samsung S3 panel for sale Incase u need it.
