CIMA lecture notes ate also on opentuition.com . But from what I can see on the site ,it seems purchasing their lecture note is compulsory and is quite expensive .

flosk:
Those that wants to write CIMA certificate in business accounting, 4 papers

Registration fee £77
Exam fees£55 *4=£220
Total =£297 ~N143,000(confirm your self)

Materials are sold but expensive : around £960 for the 4

But i found this site www.astranti dot com. He has summarised notes, exam kits and mock questions all for free.

You must be ready to dedicate time and be ready to read and master the exam questions techniques and even the syllabus.

I think paper f1-f3 in ACCA is easier than this cima. But it seems the hard way seems to be the only /fastest way for now.

The exam is administered by pearson vue centres so you can write your exams at any time you wish.

Physical calculators are not allowed as only the onscreen calculator is being used.

But if you are an efiko, you can do it in record time.
If you want to land in canada on time, you can do it.
If you read Economics or anything related, Paper BA1(first paper) will be a walk in the park.

I have personally tried to attempt some of the mock questions. Not bad in my opinion.

Just dedicate time to it.

All these info I got from Google including the snaphot of the husband claiming his wife got 1 year college certificate evaluation from wes.

The trick is that if a qualification is uk / European based, there is a high probability of positive evaluation from wes.

Hope I have tried?
Oya you too press google grin

You have mistaken the certificate in business accounting (cert BA) for operational module level. There are 4 stages in cima

1. Certificate in business accounting
2 operational module
3.managerial module
4.strategic module

What we are discussing is certBA. (there are prices according to tiers, africa falls into tier 3 and price is £55 per paper

Dont go and register for another module ooo

It is settled. MOD IDP Lagos mainland 1centre (Grange school) was well organised. Headsets and writing materials were provided.

It all went smoothly though listening was a bit tricky but we can only hope for the best. cheesy

@ottawaboy: congrats. I remember that moniker quite alright.

Hi guys, I'm putting docs together towards my application. I have gone through some of the links to the old thread but I haven't been able to find any concrete information on the duration of time I can keep money in a fixed deposit account to use as proof of funds.

I do not have the required funds in my personal account but I intend to put it in a fixed deposit account.

Please how long do I need to have it in a fixed deposit account before I can use the statement as POF?

But that shouldn't be a concern for you now. You aren't even working towards an 8777 anymore, just a paltry 6666. Be it MOD IDP or BC, you may not need to practice anything. Your 600 points has got you covered

lol, i will still do my best so that they wont say i got lazy falling from 7.5, 8,8.5, 8 to 6,6,6,6

Yes o especially section 2&3

@tholuwalorpe: In my opinion, whether BC or MOD, adequate preparation is key. As @ottawaboy said, practice practice and more practice. Never overlook any component of the test
@coolangel: it will indeed end in praise.

The period is irrelevant, just have an explanation for the source of funds. The money can be in your account or FD

POF: Provided T-bills certificates to cover for 60% of funds , 15% in dorm account , the rest was cash in regular current account.

Previous rejection: was honest about it,even filled schedule A upfront

AOR to PPR: 84days
RPRF to PPR: 41 days

Now,its my choice to move or not, as I am elf sufficient(we have better prospects at our jobs compared to 3 years ago). Delay is never Denial.

If your listening score isn't 8 or above, I'll advise to prepare to rewrite. Any score short of 8 will give less than 400 or thereabout. Unless, you're going the PNP route.

there is a link to CRS calculator on page 0 or just visit IRCC website. am in similar shoes with you but my wife is writing soon. Listening is what is making me to take ielts again with 7.5 in my previous one. your CRS with this result/hubby not writing d exam cant get you ITA for now. advice your hubby to take the test cox if you max out 8777 as d minimum, u might b btw 435 range.
