This are what to expect when outsourcing

1.Amazon or Shopify or Ebay have a user permit access to hire people to run your account.

2. The user does not have access to the cash on the platform

3. The user can only list products, fulfill them and do customer service.

4. The purchases of the product are mostly on third party sites where you source your product. They only log in to this sites and buy for you.

5. You card details are never disclosed so you are to save it on those sites where you normally purchase from. The user only uses it to buy items to your customer on Amazon or Ebay or Shopify which can be checked immediately purchase is done.

6. The risk of scam is almost zero or very low even if the person decides to purchase from your login details to another persons account. The monies will mostly be under $100.

Solution
You have to find a reputable VA from a reputable platform where if something goes wrong, you will be refunded.

NOTE
I was called by someone to stop posting all this details on nairaland that there are suppose to pay for the info I am putting here since it might have cost me some money to get all these in place.

I responded by saying I only do this to encourage Nigerians into the ecommerce platform where people are making tons of money whereas our people are still fixated on low pay local jobs including Nigerians in diaspora.

It seems its only the National ID and Passport that is accepted.

If I have $2,000 and I want to outsource my store. I believe this $2,000 is going to remain in my card while the VAs use it to buy goods and ship to buyers. Please, is this correct?

2. If I'm outsourcing a store, do I still need to pay for all those subscriptions? Like product research tools and inventory management tools. Do I need to still pay for them or is the VA going to work with their own tools?

3. With the $2,000, for instance, how much is the actual charge of the VA and how much is going to be left for the purchase of goods?

4. Since a store won't pick up sales immediately, what are the VAs going to be doing exactly within the first few days? Or are they going to be running marketing campaigns to boost the shop?

Yes. The cash will be in your card while you attach it to the sites where you are to source the products. Meaning the VA should never have details of the card. They will only get details of the website where the goods are to be purchased.

It's not fixed. Some are charged based on your profit or some are fixed. Some vas can charge as low as $200 first month.

Amazon dropshipping doesn't need marketing except if you are running private label.

Wow, the bolded part is so interesting. I love it. Once my payoneer card arrives. I'm starting. Payoneer claimed they are sending me a new card while my old one has not even expired. Now, I have waited for one month without seeing the card.
