Nigerians are good people, generally. More Nigerians would show generosity if they weren't facing financial hardship.

My father told me that during his NYSC in Kano in the early 70s, that the locals in Kano within where he lived were so welcoming and nice to him that they routinely brought him food and looked after his welfare - something he never experienced in his hometown nor expected. He told me that Hausa people are the most nicest people in the world, that if I decide to reside anyway in Nigeria that I should consider Kano.

I don't know if that is true today, considering all the tribalism, religious fanaticism, and killings in the country now. But truly, Nigerians are "good peoples!" If not that most of us are going through hard times, I think many would experience the generosity of their fellow country men and women.

I believe this lady's story.

Let us assume he is my fiance or my husband and he is telling me he is not expecting anything in return by sending money to another fine girl consistently every month , am I supposed to believe him?
