My question is, is her sister OK with the fact that she's disclosing how much she earns on social media? Thought money matters were supposed to be confidential. Sounds to me like big mouths run in that family. One is sharing the news with her boyfriend even before telling her parents, like he's her financial advisor or the taxman. Another one is blabbering on about it on the internet for the whole world to know.

I don't know what to think of the story. It kinda sounds far-fetched. But if it's true, the choice is all hers. It's her money after all. She can do what she wants with it, including giving it all to him if she likes.
Personally, I wouldn't give almost all my salary to a guy no matter what. If it's a test, then I'd gladly & deliberately flunk it.

I'm interested in why she thinks it's a test... does she think he'd give her 2m after she offers the money?

We can't judge this without knowing the back story. What if he has looked after her financially before she got this job... what if he spent more than 200k on her in the course of their relationship?

To many unknowns to conclude that he is a gold digger.

It could be for a worthwhile project... Who knows how much he has been giving her before his request because 95% of women (my experience) will rather save their money and spend yours but the moment they are in a situation where they are supposed to spend on you, it becomes a big problem
