In US tramadol us nothing. I was prescribed it once. It is just a mild pain reliever. The serious ones are morphine, oxycodone, vicodene, percocert and such. I don't understand how tramadol is a big deal in 9ja??
Or is it a different kind of tramadol??

Well,My take on this is simple and is what has worked for me.
1.Change your mind set to profitable ventures.
2.Change your circle of friends.
3.Bath cold water every morning.
4.If your were taking let's say 1000mg a day..lower it to 400mg for like a week.later 200mg for like a week again..etc
5.if you feet any itching,vomiting,cold and body pains,visit a pharmacy.pls let the know you are an addict.. It will be confidential.
6.Join a support group in church and talk to people who you think can advice you and not just anyone.
7.Pray about it.

the best way is to reduced the percentage you take daily ,if you take 400mg a day reduce it to 350mg after two days still reduce it by 50 again by so doing when you get to the list you can even break one tablet into two then sometimes you skip a day without taken ,you I'll be fine , this was how I overcome my own addicted.

You can reduce your dosage gradually until when you finally stop. Don't try to stop abruptly, withdrawal symptoms are not psychological, they are real symptoms.

You will overcome it. When I quit cigarettes 5 years ago, abruptly, my skin itched severely after I took a shower. This itching went on for more than a month but I didn't go back to pick a cigarette. Here I am today, 5 years and counting.

you obviously don't know what you are talking about. medically withdrawal symptoms are real and dangerous. tram is nothing compared to cigarettes that u will just stop abruptly like that. you must do it gradually. don give medical advice so narrowly from your own experience or point of view...you can destroy a life

@ OP.....see someone who did it?...it's called cold turkey.....set your mind to two things only...1. Not to use tramadol period and 2.... to bare whatever pain or side effects the sudden withdrawal will cause. No pain no gain. As time moves on the effects will decrease as your body gets rid of all the drug and resets itself. Also very important what he said.....drop your tramadol circle of friends. Determination is key.

I understand what you are driving at. However, alchoholism may have the most harmful or fatal withdrawal symptoms. Even cocaine only makes you feel uncomfortable and can not kill. And why would you berate cigarettes? It is as much an addictive and harmful substance as any drug. I know what I am talking about, quit if you want to quit (for any addict). If you can not quit on your own, seek the help of professionals. Nevertheless, if there is a will there is a way.

Simple. Either you stop cold turkey or you reduce your dosage gradually until you stop. If you need to quit an addiction, you need guts (I've learned so far).
