I met the senator when he was in the house of reps under OBJs government. Awesome and interesting fellow. His wife is the current DG of NAFDAC. Something is definitely not right about our system. These units should be regions, not the current states

If you go on social media today, the default setting is that Hausa/Fulani/Kanuri and Yoruba (especially Muslim) are for APC and Buhari

Igbo and Niger Delta are for PDP and anti-Buhari, allowing them to support even dodgy characters like Saraki

Middle Belt are somewhere undefined in between but in their defence, they have been heavily oppressed and undermined by the Far North

These 5 regional blocks should form the regions that should receive autonomy and devolved powers to govern Nigeria

Abuja, Lagos, Port Harcourt and Kaduna could be special cities or territories governed by the Federal Government and should be symbolic as centers of Unity

If the regions prefer, after 20 years or a period jointly decided, they may form separate countries (full secession)

This will allow for proper internal organization of each region in case they have to go alone. The countries from USSR and Yugoslavia were subnational republics for a long time before independence

Economic advantages should not be used to unite a country if we keep sacrificing innocent human beings including infants and foetuses!!

No region has monopoly of violence, hate, aggression, talent, resources or wealth. I was a pro- one Nigeria but I have come to a realization that we can't work as a people.
