at least we see the little they did,can you also boost of any your PDP did for 16yrs of embezzled.yeye!

Na you gangan be yeyenatu with your little-they-did suboptimal mentality.
Femi Adesina has your answer.

nawtyme:
Previous Govts Initiated ‘Most Of The Things This Administration Is Doing’ – Adesina

A majority of the projects the Muhammadu Buhari administration is working on was inherited from previous administrations, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity has said.

Mr Femi Adesina said this when he appeared on Channels Television’s special Independence anniversary programme on Sunday.

“Most of the things this administration is doing – 60 to 70 percent of them – were initiated by previous governments,” he said.

“That shows you that in the past a government will come and say ‘this is not our project’ And it will discard what was being done and start fresh ones.”

As a result, Mr Adesina said there are many half and quarter-completed abandoned projects.
But rather than abandon the project, he explained that the current administration will complete it.

An example is the Abuja-Kaduna rail project which the Presidential aide said was up to maybe 60 to 70 percent complete when the last administration left.

I never disputed that, my point is, whats new as this post is potraying?

What's new is that its a clear indicator that the long abandoned ajaokuta steel mill would soon come online.

Do you doubt this?

gej revived thousands of kilometres of rail lines, he was castigated & condemned.

pmb is 'trying' to revive a few hundred kilometres & they want Nigerians to worship him.

RAILWAY TRACKS PASSING THROUGH WARRI , ABRAKA ETC HAVE BEEN COMPLETED ON GROUND AND LEFT UNUSED OVER THE LAST 15YRS SINCE THE ERA OF OBJ. THESE WERE ALSO MAINTAINED DURING THE ERA OF GEJ.
I HAVE DRIVEN OVER (AT ABRAKA) & BELOW (AGBAROTOR) THESE TRACKS SEVERAL TIMES, SO APC GOVERMENT SHOULD STOP CLAMING WHAT THEY DID NOT CONSTRUCT. IT IS HOWEVER NOT OUT OF PLACE FOR THEM TO MAINTAIN AND REPLACE WORN OUT TRACKS.

In all these, I have never for one day read of a new commissioning of a railway line that cut across the Southeast.....

When you complain, they will show you a projected map of a railway that will be built in "only God knows when".......but every day we read about commissioning of new rail ways across other parts of the country...

This thread won't attract traffic, since this government is making progress on the railway promise and no ways to claim the success to their hero and failed group of 16 years. Nigeria must progress by God grace.
More progress to this government.

I know too much to say it would come to life,1st off, we do not generate enough power to power that mill,This project was here B4me and you was Born unless you where born in the 50s.
in 1994, they where almost there almost,I would say 99% completed. Now this rail line needs to work for the steel mill to be operational cos of the Ore not present where the mill is located but itekpe and other towns arround, this was the o nly reason the line was started.since 1973 ore was discovered at itakpe.40 of the 43 plants in this complex is completed tell me why the delay, you know the answer, those with vested interest for us not to have steel at cheap rate are not allowing this, just like we are expiriencing in the petrolume sector. But my take, if this FG is serious to brake the band rounding this then kudos but Im scared this might just be another political staging,we have seen too much of this, even with this same PMB in charge, this was there. But frmprymary i ndication, he is siting peoople carriage railway instead of ore carriage railway. That was not the purpose of this line.

Haters and looters would soon be here to tell you how all this projects has started for over 20 years of PDP era and not APC initiatives.

16 fuuuckin years PDP keeps spending money with no results and now APC completing this projects one by one within 3 years and some do no good want us to go back to the looters.
Thunder way go fire all PDP supporters is presently been forged in the hottest part of the sun and it would strike them hard in Jesus name
Exactly!!! just look at the huge amount of determined effort, concrete focus, and driven hard-work been invested across the country, in just 3 years inspite of the selfish greedy sabotaging efforts of the National assembly this govt remains committed to developing the commonwealth of this country, PDP had their opportunity they were blessed with the highest oil prices in world history, they choose to consume, they ate our inheritance and handed over broken pot holed roads, unstable electricity, insecurity, zero social housing, queues at the filling stations, rice importation the list go's on and on, since APC came to power PDP like the original ancient Satan has chosen to frustrate all efforts to develop this nation, they wish to take us back to the land of sin, what did they leave for us? heh? when a pickin asks his father what where you doing when all your mates were busy building houses, you went to the same school and worked in the same company, while you drank and ate your resources your mates invested now their children can enjoy their inheritances. The prove of the pudding is in its taste, go to the south east and try traveling on the deathtraps called federal roads, 16 wasted years even GEJ lost family members on these roads of death yet he refused to rectify the situation, PDP keeps propagating about the lack of cash flow in the land how can there be cash flow? if APC now have to funnel money into rebuilding those roads, those bridges that they PDP failed to maintained, they PDP invested $16billion on electricity and all OBJ gave us was a report titled "The excuses of failure", look at the road into Apapa port, Boko Haram under who's watch did the whole bloody saga begind? did PDP handover a national carrier? why then all the negativity about Nigeria Air?, PDP wants to rescue us take us and take us back era free flow consume and waste while world around us invests builds and develop, if their era was so good why did they leave us bad electricity, importation of petrol why rice importation and not rice exportation? why dilapidated pot holed infrastructure? we see the same faces, the congregating of the same usual suspects PDP their eyes glistering saliva dribbling from foaming mouths clutching their concealed knives as they await their second coming, Never again, we shall not let it happen we will not let it happen, we will face them where ever they appear, like in Ekiti state, fire for fire whatever they think they can do we can do better, we determine the game, the future belongs to us the future is bright

U r missing the point, the fact that he visited warri on train means the line has been functional for God knows howlong, however no trains to ply, this line was not built for passengers but for iron Ore transport, why this FG is trying to say it would transport People beats me,unless they want to convert it to people ferry line,Now they would need to buuild stops and train station..Now even the site for these has not been located let alone foundationed.

What you are seeing is a test run. Those coaches would convey workers amongst others to and from ajaokuta once its up and running.

The main work trains are coming. wink

No.more promise and fail. Nobody can stop it this time. That I assure you.

I m inspired and this gives me courage that we can still salvage this country from those Vultures, we will not go back to that ERA of PDP SHARE THE MONEY. APC must have a fair share of at least 16 years at federal level except we have a better alternative before then, surely not the present group of Hungry free money starved PDP criminal shimming up to drag power back so as to continue looting us dry.
IT will never happen, those hate filled youths should get that into their empty skulls, that Buhari has no alternative now.

I used to work in Itakpe iron ore mining company. My dear man, this standard gauge line has been in existence for decades. It was built to convey iron ore from Itakpe near Okene to Aladja steel rolling mill. Shagarii built that line. BUHARI has nothing to do with it. It was never meant for mass transit. Since the steel industry is being neglected, they are now converting the USAGE to mass transit. Don't get it twisted.
OBJ actually built it from nothing to up to 90% completion sometime between 1999 and 2003 before it was abandoned. Since then, most of it was vandalised and damaged.
