GTB & ZENITH lost barely N3 before during the election year in 2015... grin grin grin

If GTB see N35 or ZENITH N20...then it means Nigerian economy is back to recession or depression. Until then better to play LOTTO than wait price to collapse.

GTB 18? Zenith 13? Better to go and play BABA IJEBU. That election is coming does not mean banks wont make profit, elections would come and go. In 2015 how much did this stocks loose 12 months before the election. Forte is down and we know why. Some things wont happen unless it shows up in the balance sheet, until then...Hope is an enemy in investing!

why is forte oil sinking like this?

Please tell me

If we are brothers and sisters in the lord, like its always quoted here; then the aim should be to educate the less educated ones instead of defrauding them.

If you have an analysis to share, share it. If you dont want to share it, keep it to yourself please.

Dont come and say there is a stock capable of doing 1000% in 2days, then you keep the gullible ones guessing while you load up and then you give fake clues to tease them and prolong the suspense.

And after making sure you have got them were you want them, you announce your Bait and then there is a scramble to position in the stock which sends the price to the moon, while you offload on them and move on as if nothing happened.

Then you come and tell us how you chopped and clean mouth on so and so stock undecided

I have seen it play out here time and again. Funny enough, they will never try if with the large cap, liquid volume stock simply because the plan will fail as this forum cant move such stocks.

They will always go for the small cap kobokobo stocks with serious illiquidity so that the scramble can get them 100-200% profit at a go once NSEMPA visitors rush the stock.

It is fraudulent and if you indulge in such practice, you are simply a FRAUD and have nothing to offer.

what do you mean by "this forum cannot move such stocks?"

It is only rational to conclude buying a stock before making your interest public else you might make it difficult to at an attractive price and benefit from your analysis.

I will expect most peopke to do so and I will not begrudge anyone who does so.

I and I suspect lots of people have benefited from recommendations from both Currentprice and Onegentle guy. For example CP was instrumental to my buying Dangflour below N6. Most recommendation from CP have given clear opportunities for profit anothrr exampke is C&I leasing which he recommended around N1.2 and is now around N2.4. Clearly these recommendations were not just for a temporal pop in the prices as the price inreases have been significant and have persisted enough for people to profit fro their recommendations. Plese dont let discourage them from the fantastic work they are doing on this forum.

I love constructive criticism. If you think someone recommends a shitty stock please counter with a better stock suggestion so we can see how good your better suggestion works.

Please note I am in no way affiliated with current price or onegentleguy (used to suspect they are one and the same person). Will love to meet or chat with them though as I truely think these guys are phenomenal.

For the record my other monikers are Nomoney and MrTease.

This is the big one for so many of you.
.
Stop trying to find the perfect trading system!
.
It doesn't exist.
.
In other words, there's no strategy that produces only wins without losses.
.
What you want to have is consistency, not perfection.
.
To be a profitable trader, you don't have win all the bets you make.
.
It's even impossible to do that.
.
All you need is consistent wins which are bigger than your losses.
.
In other words, it's all about winning more and more often than you lose.
.
This is how you ensure you are green is in the long run, and that's all that matters.
.
Happy Sunday!

Are you inside the bus? If you are inside first thing tomorrow try to bail out, because market will react negatively towards their q2 result.

I was the one that started advertising and promoting Dangoteflour when they started performing, before they over speed and pass their fair junction after they sell out their noodle subsidiary, with inclusion of the proceeds from the sale, their EPS moved times two of the expected result, and their price went more than times two of their expected fair price.

But now, they will still revise back to their fair price. I believed #5/#6 is not bad.
cool cool cool

Position in a stock is always relative to entry point. Entering diamond at N3 and entering at N1.60 are two different things. Both parties are not supposed to act the same way to a negative performance. Valuation rules over the rudimentary basics of an earnings release. Too much emphasis on feel good and feel bad factor. Deeper dives are necessary.

2. Has citizens standard of living improved, NO.

Is true that country income from sales of our natural resources has increase, but our corrupt politians embezzle the money, only to dump it abroad.

Every month FAAC ( federal account allocation committee) meet to share money between the three tiers of government, (federal, state and LG)

But has it change anything, NO. Some state owes the workers months of unpaid salary, some people business are folding down. Societal vices are on the increase.

Politians those at both executive and legislative arms of government has push our country into the main recession. cool

https://investdata.com.ng/2018/07/helped-by-tax-credits-oando-nets-n8-5bn-half-year-profit/

According to the report, turnover for the period rose by 11.36% from N266.977bn to N297.307bn; while cost of sales grew at a slower 5.46% to N246.295bn, compared to prior half-year’s N233.544bn. This resulted in gross profit for the period of N51.012bn, which was 52.58% better than N33.433bn in the 2017H1.
Other operating income dropped significantly also by 84.46% from N12.662bn to N1.968bn; while administrative expenses climbed 24.22% to N39.137bn, as against the previous N31.506bn. Finance income crawled to N5.088bn, representing a 9.85% improvement over the N4.632bn reported earlier; while finance cost remained at N21bn just like last year.
This left loss before tax therefore at N2.262bn, which was 169.39% higher than the N839.91m of previous half year, while profit after tax came to N8.493bn, helped by the tax credit of N10.755bn; as against the N4.561bn net profit due to the N4.733bn arising from discontinued operations.

My conscience is free and clear. I have only spoken for three stocks (C&I Leasing, Linkage Assurance and Union Diagnostic) and against one Conoil with clear justifications for my opinion. My comments are more often than not in response to people request for further insight into stocks and they are not for a one - two week pop in the price

Now let us look at the stocks again.

1)C&I Leasing (as Nomoney): First commented on C&I Leasing on the 23rd of November in response to MPeace statement.

"If the bolded is true then it is real danger. To raise 25billion by equity could mean rights issue or some other special placement that could see additional 20billion units of share or more. Hmm. If that is the case then this stock is an early candidate of 0.01. per share. Thank God for removing my interest from all these companies wey I no know wetin them dey sell. The 'excellent' result could be a ploy to lure both gullible and innocent investors into a long thing. Another DAARCOM loading, if true"

My response

An alternative view is that the authorized capital stays at 3 billion shares after the reconstruction given the reluctance to increase the paid up capital hence the reconstruction in the first place. If C&I Leasing intends to raise N25billion shares selling approximately 2.6 billion unallocated shares then on the average they intend to sell each share at approximately N10 or N2.50 in un-reconstructed shares.

It is up 82% since then and 213% over the last year. Price was N1.37 then and N2.35 now

2)Linkage Assurance (as NoMoney): First commented on this stock on the 10th of May in response to rational mind's statement

"Fine result, may not be sustainable though going by Q1. What's your fair price biko, mine is around 200% discount
cc:Mcy56 (Insurance food don land grin)"

My response

It is sustainable actually.

Linkage Assurance owns almost 12% of Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers which makes up the bulk of it's value.

Stanbic Pension Manager's will pay Linkage N2.5186 bn as dividend for 2017 which will reflect in the 2018 results. Stanbic is the market leader in the Pension Administration space and any body that buys linkage is indiirectly buying Stanbic Pension Manager's at a discount.

I am still buying this stock and the jury is out on how this stock will perform.

3) Union Diagnostic(as MonkeyHunter): First commented on the 26th of July in response to Pluto09 statements

Just be careful. Just sold my holdings in the company this week after being trapped for many years. Na only aso savings remain now from my legacy stocks

My Response

This is suffering from the ignored stock effect. The share price has not performed in the past so nobody pays it any attention.

Union Diagnostic had negative retained earning for a couple of years (- N635m as @ 2015, -N320mas @ 2016) which has now been written off with the latest result. (+N157m as @ Q2 2018). The company is now in a position to pay dividend to its long suffering shareholders with a reasonably high dividend yield at the current proce

Market Cap is N710m 2016 PAT was N316m valuation wise it is pretty cheap. With the latest result it is on track to exceed the 2016 PAT.

The demand for their services (Medical tests) is huge, profitability has been consistent and growing steadily over the past 4 years and capital requirement is low with minimal debt. Float is 49% or N340m so slight buying pressure pushes the share price up.

One should not be anchored to the past but update the prospects of the company with recent information.

Cheers
The monkeyhunter

Didn't buy this stock as it went on full bid before I could buy which highlight the reason why most people buy stocks before recommending the stocks. Recommended when it was 20k. Kindly call me out if anybody that buys below 25k is at a loss in a year's time.

4) Conoil (as MRTease): First recommended against this stock on the 10th of July 2017 in response to stcool

Huge Contingent Liabilities from lawsuits that can also wipe out shareholder's funds. Judgements have already been given against the company in lower courts. Kindly review last year's financial results.

One of this contingent liability has now crystallized. Anybody that heeded this warning should be grateful

Those are the only stocks I have commented on in the past 8 years and I can still defend each recommendation but you will still call me a MoneyHunter. You that you are not a MonkeyHunter please give better recommendations than the one I have given. That way this community benefits

I have explained the reasoning behind the adoption of the moniker MonkeyHunter. We need to be free to recommend stocks without being called names. I use recommendations in this forum as a pointer as to what direction in which I should focus my research. IF my research confirms the recommendation, I buy else I ignore.

If you have any issue with a stock I recommend please point out the issue with a firm basis for the objection as this might help me discover something I might have overlooked

On multiple Monikers, think of it as having multiple phone numbers or email address. This does not make you a fraudster.
