For those of us that have watched this very controversial movie, let us come around to share our opinion here is mine in defense of the husband:

Her husband's only offense is to allow his ambition cloud his sense of responsibilities.

1. He cheated on her before marriage, that is all he never tried it again.
2. She asked for the divorce, he never dumped her, he even pleaded to continue the marriage
3. 3 months after d divorce, he stayed in a homeless shelter, not as if he eloped with a lover. At some point he had to move on
4. He tried to clear his conscience by settling her 10million and buying her house back, the judge even said that was d most generous offer the court had ever seen.

she has a psychological deformity and she told the story from her own perspective, filled with vengeance and hatred.
Maybe if it was the man telling d story it would be different and more clearer

Her therapist told her maybe she is looking at things wrongly which is actually true, he never cheated on her throughout their marriage so there is no sidechic in the movie.

May people have been hurt more but at some point we all have to move on, which she never did.

Exactly, she told the story from her own perspective and refused to be open to other possibilities, the psychologist even pointed that out and she ignored.

hey..I blame the man

The guy's only fault was that he got stuck with ideas /deams rather than get a day job that would put food on the table while working on his dreams.

The lady's problem was more than emotional and things she had suffered for him.Psycological issues contributed to her addiction with revenge that became their ruin.
