Football lovers are the reasons all subscribers are paying this much.

DSTV is a very useless organization, they ought to know that not everyone is interested in EPL, Champions League and the likes.

More than 50% of what DSTV pays on rights yearly goes to Sport channels. The problem with this idea is that all subscribers will have to pay equal sum to fund this expense, even if all you do is watch free to air channels everyday.

Recommendations
DSTV should simply place different prices on each of the channels. An ardent lover of e.g. Telemundo shouldn't be paying more than N1000 per month. A lover of free to air channels such as NTA, Channels tv etc , shouldn't pay a dime.

I don't subscribe to the idea of pay-as-you-go, rather I am calling for pay-on-the-channel-you-watch.
Allow people select and pay for the channels they want to watch for the week/month.

I'm just waiting on Kwese TV to upgrade some of their movie channels and I'm done with DSTV fraudsters.

Not only subscription that the price has go up, the product price i.e purchase price of both DSTV and Go-Tv has gone up likewise.............. Nigeria, which way?

I Stopped subscribing my DSTV Compact because i spend two weeks in Borno Villages (Damasak,Dikwa,Monguno,Rann,Pulka and Damboa Rooving) and only spend just two weeks in Maiduguri.
