Its gonna be tough in Texas for Mr Beto but he can pull it out with support of Hispanics in Southern Texas and massive support of African Americans in Houston, Dallas/ Forth Worth and San Antonio. I am thinking Beto will win too. I am from Chicago and republicans don't even have a say here. It's a big Blue State here.

Do you see how they paint Illinois as a failed state? They never paint the deep red states like Alabama that students don't even have sandals as failed. California bails them red states all the time, yet they trash talk California. I never talk with Trump supporters, deep Republicans are worse than demons!!
Yes, Beto is in for a tough ride, but people need to come out and vote, Democrats and Central Republicans who don't vote elect there Far-right hacks!! Only w7 percent of Americans are GOP's.. Folks should come out and vote!!!

You are under an illusion. Even in the opposing interest you referred to there is opposing interest. Greed is Nigeria's problem and it cut across all regions. So, dividing Nigeria into 100 units will not solve the problem if people cannot manage or suppress their "demons".

Mr man, enough of this worn-out lullaby of 'greed and corruption' we've been singing for decades since nigeria was born.

Nigeria's problem is fundamental, dividing nigeria into different stable parts Arewa, Middlebelt, Biafra, Oduduwa will be a gift to humanity. The country is bloated for dumb blacks like you to manage that's why the 'Greed' comes in.

When the country divides, everyone who have experienced hell will go back home, armed with the experience learnt from their 50+ year 'internship' in ill-fated nigeria and with a steely resolve, build a new nation and everything nigeria will never be and except they are mor0ns, they'll succeed. Carry-overs in school motivate intelligent people.

Let me give an instance, do you really think Oduduwans or Biafrans will allow politicians to earn 2000 times what the average oduduwan or Biafran earns? given how they suffered so much in the hands of potbellied overfed, fraudulent politicians who enjoyed enabling environment to plunder the country? You see how your 'Greed' excuse have been tackled already.

In the contraption it is safe to say that it legal for politicians to be greedy, your damned nigerian constitution empowers greed.

So don't give me, the usual worn-out excuse of 'corruption and greed'. We all know your damned country have not been really able to fight greed and corruption because the constitution empowers them indirectly.

Canada is the worst. I applied twice after securing admissions for masters programs and paid tuition fees. Tho, the fees were all refunded but this is crazy. Did all that were required even with the help of an immigration consultant. Yet, nothing. Denial is very high nowadays. God help us...

Really? First and foremost, America is literally a "no man's land": a significant majority of people in the US have been foreigners at some point (referring to the lineage). The infrastructure you talked about was built by foreigners.

In fact, many top tech companies in the US was founded/cofounded by foreigners who were once enrolled in school; in Silicon Valley majority of the people there are foreigners who were once on visas, some are still on visas. The booming real estates and housing is as a result of foreigners. Many of these same foreigners have better credibility than some US citizens (with reference to background checks, credit scores, criminal records, etc.).

Generally, Americans don't study past a bachelor's degree, many don't study past high school. Most of the professors in schools were once foreigners, and a large number of students in the top tier universities are even foreigners. Most people studying masters, MBA or PhD are foreigners. Without foreigners most university endowment in the US will be very low.

Most foreigners are even more law abiding than its citizens. Without foreigners US economy will be merely like that of Mexico.

Yes, I know many people abuse the visa, but a majority of Nigerians who attend school in the US with student visa excel academically, and whether you like it or not, these same students add value to the US economy when they get jobs (I'm referring to students enrolled in STEM programs). I know many people who got jobs in the US after school, worked for a while and after gaining valuable experience returned to Nigeria to setup their business.

Have you ever reasoned that some times in order to critically examine something, one needs a different exposure to cultivate a different mindset: corruption is looming in Nigeria, to the extent that the average Nigerian, who haven't probably left the shores of Nigeria, with the wit to boycott corruption might fail at it. International exposure could play a major role in tackling corruption in Nigeria.

The "hardship" you mentioned isn't anyone's choice (referring to the youth), but the foundation of which the economy was built on is the problem. At times, one may need to breathe a different air to see things from different perspective in order to solve problems.

The truth is that they don't want you again. Kukuma stay in your country and make it a better place. Add value to it.

I think most of the time this is a mindset thing. Do you know that the biggest producer of garri in Nigeria is an Indian man. We claim there is no opportunity but there is so much money in this country!! It just depends on what you can see.

A friend of mine, a very hard working single mother went to the US last summer with her daughter, she just dey vex when she came back. As she dey spend money na so our people there dey shake.

There is hardship here, but if you look more you will see wealth.
Running away is not the solution. Staying here to effect change will.

It's been going on for about 30 years with the likes of Late Rev Jerry Falwell and Pat Buchanan and the racist in the office now is just coming up front with it. Most of his supporters are poor Appalachians and Southern White Segregationists. But the surprise is that there's nothing to stop the migration from Latin America to US regardless of the 2300 miles high tech wall he wants to build. Those Latinos will dig a tunnel under the border wall and laugh at his face. Those Mexicans do the dirtiest work in America that even Africans won't do .

Your brain must be suffering from chronic Igbophobia, if you had to include Ndiigbo, in your concocted stories and ego trip.

Do you even have a clue that taking our country back is coded?...taking our country back to Jim Crow days....White Supremacy days ...I can see you on your knees begging to join the Ku Klux Klan. Even Whites openly call out and label Trump a racist...and here you are...saying he is a good man.... I wouldn't be suprised to learn you were found dangling on one of those trees that bear Strange Fruits.

Ive asked a white suppporter of this mantra what time period are they specifically referring to; they draw a blank. Economically speaking the time period in theory is mid 80s forward. But of course we know that is not what they are referring to. I also have a similar answer to the time machine question.

On the story of a Northerner likely to return back to Nigeria after completing a Masters degree program. This is true because, such a Northerner is almost guaranteed automatic gainful employment upon return to Nigeria , while the Southern counterparts would most likely, only rejoin the teeming hordes of unemployed Nigerian Youths, in the harsh Nigerian labour market, even with his/her foreign Masters degree.
The incentive for a Northern master degree holder to return to Nigeria is many times more than that for a Southerner, the reasons for this is not farfetched either.

you should understand our plight is spiritual, once we reach the 400 year mark it will be reparations time and many more things to come to America for how they treated God's chosen people including Nigerians in America

LMAO where we did not sow? My dear I'm not and have never been interested in going to or living in the US. Yes I agree it's their country and they have the rights yo dictate who goes there but it's not a place where Africans haven't sown. The country is built using African stolen resources including humans. They robbed us to the point where right now we're still struggling till this day. They're still robbing us blind in broad daylight, right under our noses. It's kinda comical how oblivious y'all are to this. I never said Africans have an automatic right to go there because of this, I was just stating facts.
What did my ancestors do? Well I know for sure what they didnt do. They didn't enslave millions of people, displace natives, parade humans in cages for entertainment, hang humans from trees for fun, didn't use people as science guinea pigs without any form of anaesthetic. I don't know about yours but mine didn't.
I honestly don't care for America and I know that Africans ourselves play a massive role in the situation we're in today (corrupt politics). It's just funny to me when I hear them refer to other people as immigrants in a country that they basically stole from the owners . Point blank period

But isn't this visa issue the same thing as racial profiling. Think well about this. I hope those visa officers are reading. But really it's our fault, if we developed our country, we wouldn't be applying to go and study in another country.

Nonsense.

Many citizens from China, Korea, Arabia, England, Switzerland, Australia, Japan are studying in USA schools.

Stop regurgitating silly stuff.

What I find is trying to get a visa from Nigeria is really hard. Those foreign missions are aware of all the challenges facing Nigerians. Even countries that are not first world countries make it difficult for Nigerians to get a visa how much more the first world countries.

Right about now, with Trump in power, many black people both indigenous and immigrant are feeling the heat of this administration. The only black people I know who keep praising Trump are Nigeria-based Nigerians. Nigerians will praise just about any white bigot so I am not surprised.

Trump wants an all white America and since Nigerians are not white, you shouldn't be surprised at the high rate with which you are denied U.S visa.

Try another country!

As I said before it’s saddening to read Nairalanders supporting Trump. Out rightly pathetic.

America will never become a Third World country because the foundation for freedom, liberty and justice will always guide America through. We went through the Great depression of the late 20s because of the policies of Republican President Hoover and Americans elected Democratic president FDR who implemented the New Deal and America survived and bounced back great. George Bush left America in bad shape in 2009 with America losing 700.000 jobs monthly and all the Big blue chips companies were going belly up and Dow Jones came down to 6.000 points and Obama came in and right the ship and left in 2008 after creating almost 20 million jobs and Dow Jones was over 18.000 and the Car manufacturing companies are doing great. America will always be America no matter who the president is. The foundation of America is very solid.

They started that with Illinois because Obama's from Chicago and since Obama kicked their butt twice they resorted to name calling . The poorest States in America are mostly Southern States which are deeply Red States. What about Appalachia region that's the poorest part of the country and they are 90% republicans on public dough.

He has had some good popular policies like the tax reduction and before, the "racist" thing seemed like a label democrats and cnn placed on him to make him look bad but it's looking like the guy is indeed racist. He keeps doing extreme things. He's an extremist. I thought he was going to tone down after winning the election but as it stands the guy is taking America in the direction Hitler took Germany, trying to give Americans a superiority complex and negative nationalism. And he has really capitalized on unfortunate things like radical Islamic terrorism to peddle hate.

Dumb? Same issue I was talking about. Go and consult your dictionary to understand the meaning of greed. By then you will understand and know the "children, grand-children, and cousins" of greed. Like an average Nigerian, thinking simple is too much to grip. Only lazy people will be choosing what appear to them as the easy way out but come with no long term benefits. And what do you do with a constitution that empowers greed as you suggest. I am sure your recommendation would be to tear it up.

The internet has made it easy to have all sorts of interaction and discussion with individuals one would normally not converse with. So, next time keep your "dumb" terminology to yourself, young man.
