According to the exchange rate as at today, that hanger is close to 8k. So the 6500 u got is cheaper. That being said, I'm in uyo and things are expensive here, ridiculously expensive. Although there are hangers of 5k.

In the first place Augmentin is safe in pregnancy whatever the trimester....
Second of all I really don't think she has typhoid fever cos the only test to confirm diagnosis is a bone marrow aspiration wc is not routinely done....
Widal test that is done everywhere is not a good test as other things can also make it positive including malaria....

I can get she didn't see a specialist....

That said she can take the drug cos it's safe but pls let her see a specialist cos she might just have malaria and needs to be treated properly as it is not good for baby...

I have been a silent follower of this thread from the conception of my baby.
You guys are more than family to each other and always there to give advice and encouragement without judgement. May God bless you all.
I am a November mom (Edd 13th).
I developed a little problem since last week Saturday.
After making love with my husband, I got up to a pool of blood which soaked our bed sheets and immediately went to see the Dr.
The Dr said I have a low lying placenta, hence the bleeding. I was placed on strict bed rest With so many drugs to stop any form of contraction.
I have been on bed rest since then but the bleeding wouldn't stop.
In fact, it seems to be getting worse especially when I wake up in the morning. This morning's episode filled three pads within 2hrs. The Drs are planning to tranfuse me (if Hb drops) and keep me in the hospital till baby comes.
Baby is doing fine BTW.
I'm just 26 weeks and still have a long way to go.
I have cried, prayed and kept to Dr's orders.
I don't know what to do anymore but wait.
Pls mamas remember me in your prayers. I really need it. Thank you mamas.

Just like yesterday when it seems December was too far, we have just Sept, Oct and Nov to go before we meet our Los. This God is indeed too good.

We should be in our 23, 22, 21 and 20th week now.
The waddling has began, as most of us now have visible bump.
The movements have began also and might be getting more frequent by now.
I hope no one is having back pain like me, if you are Pele. God will make easy for us all.

Really praying it goes up before due date. I'd be praying for you @luvissweet2f, you will carry to term without complications.

5months gone and nobody knows I'm pregnant except those I told, no obvious bump yet. Sonographer even said, it may become obvious close to my EDD. Baby is not stressing me, I've just been balling compared to 1st trimester.

I'm experiencing this buttocks pain too since yesterday couple with pelvic pain abi braxton hicks can't seem to differentiate the two

This last leg carry too much wahala oh, can't even walk properly cos of the pains

It is well sis. I had low lying placenta too and bled twice- but all is well and placenta moved up at 31 weeks.
Observe strict bed rest as advised. I was given drip and two tablets ( primolut and one other drug).

At other mamas, please ask ur doctor for a scan at 20weeks if you haven't done scan b4 and be on the look out of such things.

I am also FTM. During antenatal clinic, the nurse said, before bath we should rub generous amount of olive oil or palm oil around the nipple and areola. After 10 mins, wipe with cotton wool (you will see black things peeling off), then have your normal bath and wash the breas.t. After bath massage with oil and also encourage hubby to suck the nipple out during sex. She said this will help the milk flow when the baby comes. Sabi mama's can still help chook mouth in the matter.

Thanks momma. I already do the oil cleaning. My sexual drive has really taken a nose dive this period so that sucking aspect ehn... iss hard. But wetin we go do. I've also heard about perineal massage. Anyone have any experience or tips on It? Heard it reduces the chances of a year during delivery.

Try to observe your strict bedrest and avoid getting up from the bed facing up ....I noticed this puts a strain on the waist region, I had this issue twice in my first trimester.
Even if the bleeding stops and they discharge you, feel free to get all the help you can, avoiding lifting, don't stand for long,sit instead of bending to pick up items below.

You and baby will surely be fine and insist on them scanning you once more before you leave to ensure everything is okay

Yess I noticed it too, things are very expensive in this uyo since most landlords and business owners live and work in Abuja, they are using that Abuja eye and business sense to bombard uyo, lol
