Hello good people, the young man needs help and guidance and not condemnations, irrespective of whether his English is well typed/written or not.

Young man, to start with, it's important for you to know that certificate acquisition isn't enough, but what matters most and very necessary as well, is knowledge acquisition. And at times, it's inconsequential where your knowledge acquisition or gained is from; be it from College of Education, Polytechnic, University, Monotechnic, Technical College or Vocational Training Institution, etc. What matters most is God's blessings.

In any case, if you want, I could assist you with a University admission for direct entry with your current COE certificate; contact me via this email address (paradiseland001@yahoo.com).

Please, this is with good intention.

At least, if you are going to correct someone's english on internet, make sure you don't make any error.
Although you went to school, it obvious that you didn't used to wait for school to finish before going home and as a result, you always missed your last lesson which was usually English language.

Question mark, period, exclamation point, comma, semicolon, colon, dash, hyphen, parentheses, brackets, braces, apostrophe, quotation marks, and ellipsis.

College of Education may not be a waste of time as you've seen it.
But one advice I have for you is that when you go back to the university, do not take up education again rather, go for a pure course. I haven't said that studying education in the university is bad, but what I mean is that your NCE is enough to cover you if you want to take a job in the education or other educational related field. If you study a pure course, you can work in anywhere, you'll have opportunity more than your equals. If life pushes you into the teaching field, your mates will have to go for PGDE before they can qualify but with your B.Sc +NCE, you're good to go.
Again, with your NCE, you can gain admission into 200level in any Nigerian University in any of Medical Bio/Chem, Industrial Chemistry, Chemistry and other related courses. All what you need do is to prepare very well and score very high in the school's post direct entry examination.

My son, do not regret attending a college of education. In the world you live in today, formal education does not guarantee your exploits or achievements. Its is the maximization of your mental capacity that makes you standout at the end of the day. There are a lot of university graduates who have nothing upstairs, they only decieve their aged parents who still lay much emphasis and believe in this fairy tale "Go to school and you will be wealthy".

My advice to you is simple, "Develop yourself and be the best version of you. Find a solution to a problem and you will regret wasting your time seating for any exams or visiting any school".

Or better still, use your GF for Yahoo Plus.

I am waiting for you in hell. You will make a good demon
u gan spoil the advice at end, lol.

Bro, for your info don't compare your life with anyone. I attended college of education, I spent 3 years and I never regretted it. The same year i graduated, I sat for UTME and I passed it, got admitted to the university where I studied one of the Engineering courses. There is one of my secondary mate that did is convocation while I was in 100L, there are some that I met and even left them in the university after I completed my programme. Just focus on how your life will be better, our time differs.

College of education is a real brain drainer especially minna..
I was there 2013/2014 i spent only a year there and had to leave for the university.
While in the university i realised how brain dead i was..
Bro ill advise you dont go for educational course in the university.
Its same category with college.
Theres a huge difference between normal bsc student and education students..
oga, I did mathematics education in school and during our preparation for exams as we hold tutorials, it was my edu coursemate that was taking the tutorial.the only difference is dat edu students do not do all the mathematics courses because of edu courses. We were given B.sc (ED) (double honors) while theirs is just B.sc. if u really wanna know if edu students are not as dull as u, come to delsu

I am not a graduate of education in the university, but this your assertion is totally wrong. My childhood friend studied Economics education in the university, presently he is doing his Master degree in International Economics and Development in Germany. Lest I forget, education courses doesn't make you "brain dead" as you claimed.

You do not need to go for any Post graduate diploma PGD in education. College of Education also prepare you for facing crowd, you can face any interview panel without fidgeting, because you have done micro teaching and teaching practice. I still have respect for all Psychology courses I did, it help to understand human behavior. Courese in Philosophy also sharpen my logical reasoning. I dont really know why you are regretting
Exactly! College of Education really shaped my life. All the psychology, sociology, political Economics and philosophy courses helped me a lot, Infact it made me a vast person. Public speaking shouldn't be a problem for a person that had NCE. The OP will soon realise the advantages of C.O.E when he gets to the university

bro i actually felt ur pain.. i was once in this kind situation... Here is my story...
Finished sec school in 2012, obtained Futa predigree got admitted.. Ater d program, unfortunately for me, i was unabled to meet up with jamb points as required by the school whiich is 180 i actualy scored 178.. To cut d story short i lost d admission with a running cost of 200k.. All wasted..
In 2013, i tried a polytechniq but i wasnt admitted due to my low jamb score, i hv no any other option than to entroll my self in to a Education school (NCE) in other not to waste another year at home (thou i never wish or dremt to go to educational school)..
I got admitted and school begins..
After 3years i complited the NCE program, and i obtained my cerficate the following year..
I applied for Futminna Direct entry in 2017 and fortunately for me i got admitted to study a technology course which i desired (Not educational course)..

A delay in lie is never a denier...
So find ur way and pull ur self to the peak u ever desire...
#belive in urself and work ur dream out and u w achieve it,

Hello bro, do you realize you've got gold at your fingertip? Same NCE certificate people are enrolling for PGDE in equivalent to practice as a teacher? Guy put your heads up, you've got great things to achieve even with NCE

However, you can go for a degree in education to complement what u have already.
