Yes but common vardy did a lot of work, they won the league by team work and not individual

But vardy started improving at age 29,he first epl season he didnt score much.

Yes, they won as a team. They had an awful season in first half of that season. They were playing to draw, and he lost form to some extent but I didn't believe he just improved at 29, dat one I no believe

Lakosa was given the chance as fans are calling for his provisional inclusion to know what he can do in camp. Not a good reason anyway.

Kayode has been doing good after racial discrimination from his coach at Girona. Dude been banging goals since he moved to Shaktar Donesk, a club that beat Almighty man city in UCL. Don't forget that he has won 4 consecutive MTM this season in 7th best league in Europe. I wonder why Rohr invited a lowly rated Serie B player in place of tested professional that disgraced Roma in Europa league.
Blood of Habakkuk. 4MTM in 3 games. Guy fear God small na. Kayode wey injury Neva even gree make him waka well not to talk of kicking a ball don win 4MTM . Must we tell lies just to discredit other pipu

Chief pls don't bring Mikel and Ighalo to the discourse.

Are you now saying Mikel and Jamilu are at par.

So cos we are not Brazil,France or Spain then our team should be a place for mediocre.

Haha, I am by no means bringing them down. I am instead trying to raise those players we are writing off as Division 2 players.

Egbon see, if we don't have enough players in the top leagues do we go and start forcing players of other nationalities in top leagues to play for us? Again we are not Brazil, Spain or France. We invite all our players from top leagues and fill up the remaining spaces with highly talented young players from lower leagues. Shekina

The last time i checked chinese league has more players in the world cup than those portugal and german division 2

You think brazil will call a player from those division 2 and leave a chinese based players?

How many portugal and germany and co division 2 players played for their respective national teams?

League for players approaching retirement. Why haven't Chinese clubs been dominating Asia?

Those players made the WC because they have already made names for themselves before going to China just like Mikel and Ighalo.

Let those Chinese club face teams from the Bundesliga 2 or Spain or Portuguese league 2 and them go see fire.

Simmy earned a call up to the national team based on a bicycle kick against Juventus

Many people seem to forget
Simmy earned a call up based on consistent performance at the tail end of last season. He did not have just one bicycle kick goal, he was scoring braces even.

Nobody has forgotten, you are changing the narrative

Oshe conspiracy theorist. So, Jamilu and Semi are now camouflage abi? Rohr did not reason other people to use as camouflage, it is two relatively unknown players.

Lol, where did Vic Mo run to? Chelsea's bench or his couch at home? I'm sure Sarri is also a corrupt coach for not playing Moses regularly grin grin

You and Komekn should start a comedy club and become the main acts. Una go sell die

Once person give una good point una go change the topic, you simply don't know what to say.

Why Portugal no carry those division 2 players go World Cup ? They rather call 34 year old man Jose fonte

I guess Anderson talisca is a retirement player ?

Carrasco is also a retirement player ?

Paulinho went to china at age 27 Barca paid 40 million to get him from the retirement league

Axel Witsel played all minute for Belgium in the World Cup,Dortmund just got him back to Europe for 20m

Which player go World Cup from Portugal division 2 Germany division 2 and co,you have no answer to that then you will change the topic

Who is changing topic? Are we not still comparing Portuguese league 2, Bundesliga 2 with the Chinese League? So if someone does not agree with you he is changing topic. Or you don't know what changing of topic means? Abi, which good point you give sef?

Why would Portugal go to the World Cup with Portuguese league 2 players? Or Germany with Bundesliga 2 players. Are we and Portugal or Germany on the same level? I repeat we are not on that same level with the top teams in the world. The earlier we face this reality the better.

If you don't have players in top leagues will u go and force the players out from no where? Or you will just name only those players in the top Leagues and leave the remaining spaces in the team vacant.

Having players from the lower leagues is not the ideal but if that is what you've got what will you do?

Mind you I am not comparing us to Portugal and co.

I am not against us calling player from Germany division 2 or championship trust me because we can't use what we don't have

Sorry to say Chinese league team will beat those division 2 team or even Japan league also and the Korean leagues.

I will never agree division 2 team will beat those China league never.

South Korea beat mighty Germany at the World Cup with about 6 Korea based players in the starting line up

European team is the best but they have been beaten in the club World Cup final 3 times

São Paulo beat Liverpool 2005
International beat Barca 2006
Corinthians beat Chelsea 2012

So because it's Europe and Portugal division 2 Germany and co and you think they will beat those Chinese team ?

What Happen to Barca and co when these South American team stunned them?

Bros make we leave matter jare

K.Nwakali is training with the B team with a view to joining Porto A in the nearest future, where he will later be loaned to IK Start

TheSuperNerd:
Rabiu got his ratings based on youth football... But K.Nwakali got his 2017 ratings and fine reviews based on his output in Dutch second division. His Reference at Goal International also came recently this year (2018).

So this is not about his exploits at U-17 back in 2015. See? wink

And please stop throwing that lie that he is warming the bench at Porto B. That is low of you.

The problem is K. Nwakali did not even merit the call up for the Atletico match. Which is why we need to cancel his goal.

safarigirl:
let me quote my lecturer: "The concept of merit varies, people could merit things based on the criteria of the person handing out these things"

For instance, maybe Nwakali merited the invite based on his performance against Atletico Madrid. I remember when people were clamouring for Kelechi after the Atletico game. Rohr was asked about Nwakali in a press conference and he said that the coaching crew has taken note of his performance and his time would come

If Rohr has decided that the time is now, the first game post World Cup, I do not see why you all are saying Nwakali should not be called up. Nwakali and Ebere Eze are not on the same level. Nwakali has had a go at the senior team and excelled, Ebere has not gotten that chance yet. So, saying Ebere merited a call up above Nwakali is wrong.

This brings me back to the requirement that club performance will get you an invite, national team performance will earn you a place. Both players are not at the same stage, therefore Nwakali merited his spot.

Compare Ebere Eze to Semi and Jemiu who have not been capped at all

U no lie sha. But Nigerians won’t forget those goals easily

tbaba1234:

I do not know how we can place too much stock on a meaningless end of the season friendly that Athletico played with the hand brakes on.

Usman Muhammed who dribbled the athletico defence was horrible this weekend in Norway and Nwakali has not shone for Porto B either. These players are not playing at a high level.

I understand responding to a popular call for the golden boy but in terms of merit, Nwakali has done nothing.

This is deceptive. The players from China were already established National team players before going to China. It is not an indicator of the league's strength.

There were at least seven players from Bundesliga 2 at the world cup including players from Japan,Iceland, Morocco, Australia etc. Many of these players were invited based on their performances in Bundesliga 2.

Since his debut in the competition in October 2015, Kelechi Iheanacho has had a hand in seven goals in the League Cup (4 goals, 3 assists); only Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne (9; 6 goals, 3 assists) has been involved in more in the same period.
