I recognize the noodles but what is the rest? Oh, that is supposed to be fried chicken? How do Nigerians prepare fried chicken? I'm just curious because it's different from American fried chicken. Some vegetables, spices, and shrimp added to the noodles would have made it delicious.
indomie noodles is mostly regarded as a junk meal here.something u ration out for the little kids b4 the real meal is prepared.little kids here love it though.

Hmmm....no doubt. ..the food looks very appetiizing !...fresh!...mouth watering!.... can even use as an ad!.... but all along until the last pic I thought was chicken. From the bone I know it isn't. ..so may I ask?...what is it?...I strongly believe it's vulture.

I know what indomie is we have it here in the states but it's called Ramen. Yeah, the kids love it but the adults love it also when you doc it up with some vegetables, spices, peppers, shrimp, and chicken. I am curious as to how the chicken is fried, do you just season it and then fried it oil? Do you guys have a Kentucky Fried Chicken/KFC resturant there because that is how we fry chicken only much better?

Total BS! Do you add all that to your pot noddles? Mtcheeeeew

It's not BS, you just don't know any better. I add those ingredients to the noodles when I am stir frying them and I make some homemade egg rolls to go with the noodles with stir fry vegetables on the side. All it takes is a little creativity to make something so simple into a delicious meal. The finished project is sort of like a Chinese meal. undecided

yes we do season it and fry it. Lol we have chicken republic where i am.i think KFC is in lagos then there is Mr Biggs. I have not tasted the chicken in KFC but i have tasted the one in Mr biggs. To be honest i dont like the way the chicken of many of these fastfood outlets taste. So if i feel like eating chicken i go to d market to purchase a life fowlcheesy. The ones u prepare at home tend to taste better than the ones from the fast food outlets.

How does Mr. Biggs fry his chicken? After we seasoned the chicken we coat the chicken with flour dip it in raw scrambled eggs then coat it in the seasoned flour again then fry the chicken in the hot oil. Some people dip the chicken in buttermilk instead of the eggs. Coating the chicken with the flour and eggs makes it extra crispy. smiley KFC is good but not as good as homemade, well, that depends on who is doing the cooking because everybody can't cook. grin

grin I would love to cook you a soul food dinner with fried chicken, collard greens, cornbread, yams, macaroni and cheese, and for dessert, a peach cobbler or banana pudding, or maybe I would cook you some Gumbo, it's a soup that has shrimp, crab, chicken, sausage, tomatoes, okra, and corn in it and you serve it on top of rice. This is what I would cook for Alezy. cheesy I know that the gumbo is similar to one of your Nigerians soups, but can you guess why? It's because the Africans brought the recipe to America during the slavery days and passed the recipe over to their descendants who would be, "you guessed it" African Americans. wink We also have a dish called Jambalaya, it is similar to jollof rice but it has crab, shrimp, sausage and sometimes chicken in it, it was created by an ex Nigerian slave. I thought I would give you an eye to some of our cultural foods. smiley

You have to understand that black America and white America are two different cultures, we are not one just because we are in the same country. The Gumbo, jambalaya and the collard greens are traditionally black American food created by our ancestors. Some white people eat it but most have never heard of it before, they have heard of SOUL FOOD/BLACK AMERICAN dishes but have never tried it. I guess whites eat the same food that rest of America eats, it varies since there are so many different cultures here.
