FOR a split second I thought I had overdone things but then,the gal in me disagreed and I agreed to step up my game a bit.
A devilish smile lit up my face as I remembered
My basketball filled secondary school days,Dan was coming towards me and I thought this is it kizzy,he was walking slower than usual and I began to suspect foul play,before I could dwell long on that thought he charged towards me and omo if not for my light body and acrobatic skills I brought my knees to the floor and due to the tiled floor I slides easily,I was now at the top of the stairs.
The stairs were too long and I couldn't move back because Dan was moving dangerously towards me, I decided to run down the stairs and was about to take my first step when Dan lunged at me from behind engaging me in a back hug. It would have almost be romantic if not for the circumstances, I tried digging my elbow into his ribs but he held my two hands with one of his own and landed me a slap,chai the slap should have gotten an a.m.v.c.a. award as the hottest slap of two centuries. He made a swipe at my legs and they buckled beneath him,but I knew that if I allowed him straddle me which he was bent on doing then I was as good as dried nza.
Before he could bend me over I jumped at him and straddle him,wrapping my arms around his neck,he put his hands on my waist trying to yank me off,if someone had entered then he would have thought we were having a lovely couple time.
I took one glance at the stair case beneath us,took a deep breath and pulled us both with all my might, we tumbled down the stairs....

"OUCH" I cried out as I tried to lift myself off the ground I must have passed out cause when I looked around Dan was nowhere to be seen,I tried to stand up when I realised that my legs were tied up."wow kizzy"I thought "so much for trying to stand up to him, you're mince meat now"
I struggled to a sitting position and dragged myself to back the wall,my hands were free so I tried to untie myself, then I thought why would Daniel tie my legs and leave out my hands when he knew I could easily with the help of my hands untie my legs.I untied myself and struggled up.
I knew I needed to do something before Dan came back from where ever he left for. I glanced furtively towards the kitchen then I decided to make a run for it,I ran to the kitchen to get a knife to defend myself. I got to the kitchen but there were no knives in the kitchen, I began to suspect foul play when I heard movement behind me.
I turned around to see Dan towering over me.
I knew a slap was next so I braced myself.none came instead he said.
"I had the lawyer bring the divorce papers,so sign where necessary"
No no no no I could never divorce him God,I had to beg him.
I rushed after him.
"Dan Dan please don't I..I.. I am sorry I am so ...sorry I would never try this again was I mad?".

SOMEHOW she crying softened me,but something still baffled me about all she said earlier if she had loved the young man from earlier and could get that angry at me then was it that she was forced to marry me??,God help me if she was forced then it'd mean I'd been punishing an innocent girl for the past six years.

From onset to this spot you're doing good Maddonna222 and swiftly am in love with the story. Its good when one can't decipher the plot of what they're reading. Its one of the many things I enjoy in a read.
To the story;
Everyone seem to be having a skeleton in their closet; soon to be unravelled.
Kizzy; in a cobweb reality she dosen't look any close to her freedom. Perhaps if she let go of her fears. What then is the cause of her fears and weaknesses? I guess we'll have to paddle along the boat.
Kyle who happens to be her past obviously is up to revenge for the past. But then I could be wrong.
Jake got shot by an unknown shooter really jolted him back to reminisce of his late Keisha. I do hope he finds love again.
Helen(kizzy's closest pal) seem to have a secret with kizzy's husband, Dan. But then she is gay? What's the r/ship BTW the duo. Let's find out?..
Dan feeling emasculated by his marriage to kizzy tells for his disregard and ill treatment towards her. Not for long, not for long, he'll fall off the table pretty soon. And then suffice another reality. What then is the reality?
