The rice and chicken looks so yummy. The grilled chicken looks like it’s moist.

Is biryani rice like jollof rice?

Also how does the yoghurt pair with the rice and chicken?

JewelStone:
What's going on here again? Omg, I can't deal with the drama cheesy cheesy cheesy

Seriously though, posters should stop lifting pictures from the internet. Cook in your kitchen and post the pictures here. And if you happen to eat out in a restaurant or cafe, state it CLEARLY that the food isn't yours. Stop claiming people's work as yours, it's quite embarrassing!

Dinner: biryani rice with grilled chicken breast and yoghurt, made by for me my sis-in-law

Thanks dear, yeah the chicken was moist.

The rice sort of looks and taste like jollof but she added saffron, veggies and mince meat to it. The yoghurt is used as an extra sauce for the rice, something I learnt new and it paired quite well

It's an Arab thing. For some weird reason they eat rice with yoghurt. I didn't know about it till i subscribed to Mark Wiens Youtube channel. The best food channel on the internet in my opinion.

That’s interesting. One day I’ll try a spoonful of yoghurt with my rice and see how it goes.

I’m only used to eating Indian curry that is cooked with yoghurt.

I think it's better with jollof though. All the one's i've seen were eaten with a jollofy looking thingy.

1.I can only apologise, if photo I uploaded is not from my kitchen, or those not have my connection or print on it.

2.Whenever i upload any photo, please no pressure on you to like them.Uploading photo of food is what I like doing .

I don't need to tell you about my life or things I do. But if you think you really wanna know about me, come to Nasarawa. If there is anyone from this section staying in Paris Pm me to get my location, gonna be in Paris soon.

Was not gonna say this before. I partner with that said Blog “Venus at Her mirror” I and Mariagraza ceraso have connection.

NOTE: insult on me does not change who I am or the love for this section. No comment form me again concerning is issue. Peace.

@bold, And that would have put the ish to rest from the start. Are you saying if people see a photo someone uploads here, on the internet, they can’t ask them if the pictures belong to them or not? They can ask and the poster will simply say they took the picture for the blog or partnered with the blog. It’s not a big deal and doesn’t require revealing of personal information.

You’re the one who made the issue to blow out of proportion. And no here is the bad guy for simply asking you if the pictures found on the internet belonged to you or not.

If you’re going to Paris next week, it also doesn’t have anything to do with food pictures found on the web space in Paris unless you’re the one taking them. Which is commendable BTW but it doesn’t mean anyone is out to fish for personal details about your life.

If you go through my previous post, you gonna know I don't talk or right much. I Guess u didn't see just Paris there, why excluding Nasarawa I made mention.

From my previous comment yesterday, I said I can't post photo I don't have connection with. Please let go. Thanks

There's no need to mention Nasarawa because you have said before that you live there. You saying you're going to Paris next week in this conversation implies that you still see the problem as though people doubt your ability to travel or work in other countries, when it was just a simple case of Internet picture confusion. many people on this thread post from all parts of the world. the issue was never about that.

Of course I will let go. the issue is that I am one of the people who always like and share your posts. So making it seem like the people (like me) who usually like and applaud you are out to get you is demeaning. At least I found it so.

I don't understand why the whole thing shifted gears to that angle. I will excuse myself now. take care

Even if they were from a Nigerian website, as long as they are from the internet, people will also want to verify if they are his or not. Case in point, some posters from before who have been called out. They took their photos from Nigerian websites. They were called out And no one brought up the topic of being big or small.

You’re actually the one who has the issue upside down. Does foreign mean bigger? I don’t get the logic.

When you were silently observing, why didn’t you comment about this ‘bigness’ issue when others were called out for taking pictures from Nigerian websites? Are you using this opportunity to talk about your private feelings?

This is a totally unrelated topic about food and you people are trying to make it about social status, not revealing all about oneself and other things to try and make the commenters feel like they are being hateful or jealous (like he already called someone).

It’s a simple issue of “I cooked the food when I was in another country and the owner of the blog posted it”. Or “I took the photos for the owner of the blog”. Or “the owner of the blog stole the photos from me when I posted it somewhere else”.

Don’t shame people’s social standing by making this about who’s big or who isn’t.
I didn't "shame" anybody's "social status". I already explained what I meant by " big" in this context. If u choose to see it as shaming, then there's nothing I can do about it.

Hey chasers dear, I get that you don’t think anyone here is owed an explanation, which is true, but bar any insults thrown, given the theme of the thread, I think it was also fair that they asked for confirmation. I think the issue is that when you were confronted like anyone else would’ve been, you weren’t forthright with your explanation in the beginning. Evasive, dismissive answers like that tend to make people look guilty, even if they aren’t. Still a fan smiley

It's an Indian/Asian recipe. Like jollof rice, but they add diced beef, chicken inside so that every spoon you take has meat inside. They also mix the rice with yoghurt after cooking.
They don't often cook it with tomato/blended pepper like our jollof though. They use a lot of their Indian spices.
If you've had no access to jollof in a while, and you taste biryani, it can be a close enough substitute for your taste buds

Taking what too far, some people did same in the past and they were called out, yes, I am following the discussion, the reason Nigeria passport holders are humiliated and embarrassed is partly because of smaller issues like this, when we see something bad we should condemn it regardless of whose ox is gored, like what several posters said already, he should have explained himself immediately he was called out but he ignored, those who want to ass-lick the guy should go on,I am done with this discourse shocked

Must definitely be one or both cos I added more cocoa/hot water when I thought the batter was too thick. Also used my gas oven when NEPA would not let my halogen oven shine, therby opening frequently to check undecided
Thanks for the tip wink

People calling me names like thief. Same me you do send messages to for money, school fees, airtime apart from the once I gave out freely. Few months ago I paid someone schools here, gave out 5 thousands airtime to someone and also 10 thousands for support of something, lot more.

NOTE. Not uploading photo to get the like of girls attention because in a serious relationship.
