Lol..I can see you lack comprehension skills..read what you just posted again...So Muslim communities in Nsukka to you means native of Nsukka ..read the bolded very well oga and stop typing nonsense..In the North we have Igbo communities does that mean that those igbos are native of those places.. As for the imam, he is free to practice what ever religion he likes, nobody threatens or kill you in any part of igbo land for your religion as longer you don't constitute a nusiance to the community..And look up for the imam on google,he is not from Nsukka but from enugu ezike in igbo-eze north local govt..Out of all the 18 towns in Nsukka local govt, there is virtually no native Muslims..You can't know my place more than me. Stop typing what you know nothing about.
There is no native muslims, but the Imam is a non-native abi. You people just like to deny things a lot, the bolded alone says it all contradicting yourself, can you see you lack comprehension skills, before you said there is no mosque in Nssuka except in UNN, meanwhile the community has a central mosque, so the community central mosque is a virtual central mosque abi, as I have said before ma tan ara e (keep deceiving yourself)..Islam is here to stay in Igboland, deal with it. Lol...

Bros, 1% is one out of every 100. That's not a massive figure. Maybe in most parts of Anambra, they are 0% but I can bet you that they are very numerous in Ebonyi State. Of course, I have attended to an Igbo Muslim girl before in Asaba. She is from Ebonyi and was schooling at Nkpor. When she told me she was Muslim, I thought it was a joke but she meant it. That was in 2012. I have heard about the massive Islamic Centre at Afikpo before. They have a school and I think they give free Education and through that are drawing many children and their families into Islam. Muslims are making inroads into Ebonyi State but most Igbos are comfortable in Anambra, Enugu, Abia and Imo thinking there's no big deal.
Please, don't get it twisted. I'm not a Muslim.

whenever there's a Muslim or Islamic related post on Nairaland, in the comments below, I see insults or curses from probably Christian Nairalanders, but if it's to be a Christianic related post, not even single insult is noticed in the comment.

It seems we (Muslims) are more cultured and respect fellow beings irrespective of thier religion.

No offence please.

I know they'll still come for my head with this, but guess what? No Bleep will be given, in shaa Allah. #grin

But the native western Europeans are not becoming Muslim.
If anything, they are becoming more atheist.

It is immigration from Arabic countries that fuel the growth of Islam in the west.
And these Immigrants reproduce like rats.

The real European citizens are becoming less religious.

And just like the south east, they have an aversion for Islam.

THE MUMU IS BOASTING OF ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS THAT WOULD SOON BE KICKED OUT.

I can see you and your people running all over the thread in excitement.
lgbos being muslims really excites our afonja brethren.
The question is have you seen an igbo muslim physically before.
I as an igbo person only met one while serving in the north and same for most igbos and nigerians.
In my local government area in Anambra, there may be a mosque, but i dont know where it is. I have never seen it.
There is nothing wrong with being igbo and muslim, but they are very insignificant in number, thus most igbos and nigerians have never encountered them.
Stop acting all excited.10persons makes no difference amongst 40million people.
Thanks.

Let them have it, I don't just like where people do claim one religion cannot exists in their region. The christianity they do claim that is their religion, it was a strange religion before their grandfathers accepted it.
I did it in in history of education how christian missionaries don't want to admit pupils to schools if they don't give up their religion(be it African traditional religion or Islamic religion). Thanks to Henry Carr that stood against the christian missionaries that religion must not be mixed with education.

I don't have any problem with christians because, I have them in my family even though their population is lesser than we muslims, but there is a peaceful co-existence among us. Many Igbo christans should learn how to tolerate other religions.
Nobody said igbo muslims dont exist, but we say they are very insignificant in number.
You,am sure have never met an igbo muslim,i as an igbo person only ever met one while serving in the north, and i am sure virtually every person on this forum igbo or not have never met an igbo muslim,so where is the intolerance coming from?

Of course you will not meet them because they hide. They are persecuted by their own kins, they receive threats to their life and families, they are not recognized, they must not speak in gathering, they cannot dress as muslims, they are to remain unseen, unheard...stay underground and you will be fine, come out to preofess Islam and be in trouble.

Ibo christian,
Its not their number that matters. They are not in Islam to measure length of dyck, they like the faith and they are following it. Thats whats important.

Didnt all you IboChristians cheer Kanu when he issued threat and called upon you to kill Pastor Kumuyi if he stepped foot in Alaibo? Is Kumuyi muslim?

I want you to provide an article from radio biafra or even a radio message from radio biafra where Nnamdi Kanu was issuing to kill kumuyi.

I don't want the bullshit propaganda from you Afonja as usual twisting what's said. I want direct comment from either Ipob Facebook page, website or recording from Nnamdi Kanu.

Incase your incompetence asses aren't aware, many of us have been listening to RB for years now and was around when Nnamdi Kanu preached against Yoruba fake ass pastors using religion to swindle the gullible people out of few money they have.

Nnamdi Kanu statement against Kumuyi was only consisting of insulting Igbos who follows Yoruba pastors. He preached against any Igbo foolish enough to allow Yoruba pastors into our region when you fools don't even replicate the same for Igbo pastors. Nowhere did Nnamdi Kanu threaten Kumuyi that's the reason why Kumuyi held that crusades in Aba without any disruption during that time. But as you Afonjas are well known for, you'll rewrite, add salt and write as many propagandist articles you demons can think off to pass your propaganda around.

what a silly statement. everyman for himself. how you see the world frm a feudalist point of view in this 21st century speaks volumes as regards your mentality. religion is STRICTLY a personal affair and has nothing to do with the management of a body politic. I am irreligious and, were I to be a ruler of an area with a muslim majority, would you say that area is an irreligious area? keep fracturing an already bursting at the seams contraption you hear.

How many people from Afikpo and it's environs have you met? Do you know there are many unreached parts of Igbo land especially in Ebonyi State and other parts of Igbo land.
You don't tell me that 1% is too much until you meet more people from Ebonyi and enquire about their religion. If you meet 200 Igbos and 2 of them are Muslims, you most likely won't notice it. How many times do you meet Igbos and discuss religion with them? I got to know the lady was a Muslim cos my job warranted I enquired about that during my counsel with her. If I hadn't asked, I would have sworn that she was a Christian cos she wasn't even wearing hijab. Actually, many of them don't wear hijab.
