turkey just move rate to 24 hmmm time to travel
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by kamsy4God: 8:35pm On Sep 13, 2018
My TB matured today so I missed out from yesterday own. I have extra cash to add to the previous one.
My questions are :
1)Should I wait for 2weeks for the next auction or should I buy from secondary market (not done sec market b4)
2)l bank with both FBN and Stanbic, but have been doing TB with only FBN for 2years now, should I split the fund into two so I can do with Stanbic as well?
What do you guys think.

How many days tenor please?
GTB has been failing to win 364 days bidding lately and I'm beginning to think it's a deliberate act of sabotage (of course, I might be wrong)

That's it ooo...the interest rate is cool....I learnt their resident permit is 350$ yearly..!
But there should be pro and cons for foreign investors.

Some MMF are already on 12%, before you know it, they will be close to 14. So, MMFs rate are not constant

From the TB 4th quarter calendar posted here, it seems there is another auction next week. I intend to use my matured Stanbic 364 days to bid for that. Will visit the bank on Monday to confirm that there is an auction.

I'm sure you've heard of the saying "put your money where your mouth is", Turkey and Greece share similar econolic policies and it hasn't been long Greece plunged into severe economic crisis where people that had millions in their banks were limited to withdrawing $20/day.

Greece was bailed out by New lenders and they got the economy rolling again, now the thing about the new lenders is that they have 70 percent interest in what you intend to do with their money and paying back bad debts is not an item in their list. The government coverd the debts through constant issue of bonds and never get to payout the whole capital to all their cutomers.

If you still want and meet all the criteria to invest in Turkey, it is best to go with the bare minimum Investment capital.
