The replacement is temporary as the Ogun slot must be filled.

Because her explanation says it all. If he had read it and understood it, he would not be shouting arrest and prosecute like someone who struggles with assimilation

What stupid explanation?
I put it to you dat you're mad
If we're to take her excuse, then all those in court for the so called dasuki loot have no case to answer since they all claimed ignorance of the source of the money.
Even dasuki can claim then that he was advised by associates that he was disbursing the money the right way
You people should stop playing politics with very sensitive matters if we want this nation to progress

Read the letter again.

Double standard is a terrible act, ignorance of the law is not an excuse.

Guess this is from the other party, you won't tow this dishonourable path.

Indeed, I presented that certificate at the 2011 Ogun State House of Assembly and in 2015 for Directorate of State Services (DSS) Clearance as well as to the National Assembly for screening.

Our culture of not being so good at doing right has surfaced yet again. That certificate went through our own FBI and scaled through.

It is indeed shameful that the person that wrote this stupid and useless and pointing to others letter has been the Minister of Finance. Its indeed shameful. No wonder we seem to be going backwards.

No plausible explanation there. People like us with foreign born kids know better.

She obtained her first Nigerian passport at 34. But she did not acquire Nigerian citizenship at 34. She did at birth through at least one of her parents.

At least her parents would have known that. If she didn't know, then she wasn't at all interested in Nigeria, beside family holiday, up till age of 34!

Fact is she didn't envisage coming to Nigeria or getting the opportunities Wale Edun and others later gave her in Nigeria when she graduated around age 21 or 22 back then.

Someone who is supposedly of the caliber of finance minister could not ensure her exemption certificate was genuine. How can she ensure that companies bidding for huge govt contracts from her ministry are not parading Oluwole documents as proof of incorporation, tax clearance and evidence of track record in the industry? shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked

Those who pushed her forward only quickly organised a high grade Oluwole exemption certificate for her. They didn't think anybody will check. And she got away with it for so long.

If narcotics were found in your possession at the airport, will the argument (without proof) that somebody else put it in your bag free you from the crime? NO SIR, IT WON'T! Let us not use tribalism to tell ourselves lies or defend the indefensible.

I have often advised diaspora born kids to consider NYSC in 9ja. Especially the final year medics/dentists that mill around.

But most point to safety/security concerns why their parents are against it.

She would have absolutely no issue in the UK. Even here in Nigeria, the worst that can happen to her is what just happened; i.e. giving up her appointment.

People saying she should be charged to court, how exactly can it be proven that she intentionally used a fake nysc clearance?... Under the circumstances, the worst punishment for the offence is what has already happened.

Twisting facts to suit your favourite, you won't type these if another party were to be in govt.

She knew what she had, hence her doing the biddings of the legislooters

That's true.

Now let the arrest starts from the bottom (the first criminals).. Or are we going to pardon them (the first criminals)?

Let the truth be told, prosecution of this woman will be a plus to our democracy and polity because it will serve as a deterrent to other intending criminals, thieves and upcoming forgers
