This ship has sailed since........... ATEN are just rabble rousers and time wasters to those who are gullible to listen and agree with them and believe me, there are many uninformed people who are following them. We know how they prey on these poorly informed people and even collect money from them as dues while deciving people with bogus judgement and promises. They don't know the untold amount of people they have sent to early graves with their LIES, LIES and More LIES. THIS IS NIGERIA.... If you ask them to show you the court judgement that said NITEL/MTEL ex staff are to be paid 20 years Pension Buy out they will tell you another story. arewaa We, pensioners, ex Nitel /Mtel staff have been warned several times to be very careful of people or group of people who will come under any disguise and claim to help us. Where are they for the past years. Can they show us a copy of the Ecowas court judgment? Where is ATEN office in Abuja, Lagos, Kano or even Benin? What happens to all the money collected from us for the past years? They are here again seeking to ask us to contribute from our monthly pensions. BE WISE. My GOLDEN ADVICE TO ALL. Don.t be fooled. Just heard that Oluti and his co travellers such as Makinde came for PTAD verifications verifications verification for monthly pension. I was just laughing. why did he come for verification? why didn't he wait for pension buy out of 20 years. greedy and selfish man. The pain Oluti and his group has caused, karma will catch up with all of them. deceiving people for selfish gain. no one is wishing them well. Make we dey see. |

arewaa A million thanks to the contributor who showed us the latest from PTAD. What else do I need to say here rather than to extend my handshake to him? According to the 2nd to the last paragraph, getting us to monthly pensions is of utmost priority of the Directorate. The God sent Moses....... PTAD... .. had finally, taken us Pensioners out of the land of Egypt from so-called ATEN, facing the promised land blessed with " Milk and Honey " . I pray to see that day and you? |

The more the days go by, the more uncertainty regarding when the payment will come. I have tried to ask around including inside PTAD and the story is the same; we will be paid soon when government releases money. Nobody in PTAD wants to say anything about any timeline. This is really worrisome. |

food for thought,.....if any one can still remember ,,,PTAD said the money for the arrears pay off was put in budget n was defended n at the end was approved....Now the story is when they release fund......election is next year...PDP is certainly not aware of this money neither other minority opposition parties....who will ask the Government what is happening or what was that money used for...normal pension payment is pea nut compared to the whole money running in billions approved for this payment...,,many months have already gone n nothing has been paid so far...by November another budget will be presented to the house n early passage next yr,by then the money approved for this payment written off or side tracked for their election rigging.... This is where oluti group should be channeling there effort in making other agencies or parties aware of these underground scheme by the FG to use their money for other purposes n with that questions will be asked n they will have no other option than to use the money for what its meant for...if things are not done soon ,this money (arrears ) won't be paid till after next year's election... This is a well thought out plan....I pray God send a helper to foil there plan,,computation done with,,, ,,it's a matter of print out with what's due each recipient from PTAD..accountant general office going through the paper 2 days tops to ensure the money their matches, approves that .. the money is in CBN account( not switze account ,or foreign account ) they on the other hand uses computer to make payment to individual banks...one week job....So who is fooling who 1 Like |

the same woman I found out has been in the ministry of national budget n planning for years n was there when the money for this pay off was approved but did nothing to ensure that this money is paid,owning to the fact that she is a nitel pensioner with the husband,,I wonder what miracle will change her for the good... |

But before then, Zainab was Nigeria’s Minister of State Budget and National Planning who has contributed immensely to the growth of the economy. She is still the minister of state Budget and National Planning. Born on June 16, 1960 in Kaduna State, Zainab was employed in 1982 as an Accountant in the Ministry of Finance, Kaduna State. After several promotions in the ministry, Zainab resigned in 1985 to join the Nigerian Telecommunication Ltd (NITEL). In 2010, Zainab was appointed as the executive secretary and national coordinator of the Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (NEITI). Adding to that, she has served as the managing director of the Kaduna Industrial and Finance Co. Ltd (KIFC), and also was appointed a member of the National Stakeholders Working Group (NSWG). She is a fellow of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) and a member of the Nigerian Institute of Taxation and the Nigerian Institute of Management. |

Hmmmm, meet again! Everybody is tired of meeting here meeting there. All we want is payments. If she is waiting for NITEL representatives to be following her up and down, then we will really have to tary longer. I just hope she will be brave and courageous enough to take the bull by the horn and start the process of quick approval of these funds. No one needs to tell her how much these pensioner and next of kins have suffered. Besides she should understand that she might not be there for too long. The earlier she starts the process, the better for us all. On a lighter note, I wish her husband too, as a NITEL pensioner, will help us all put plenty pressure on her LOL. I still repeat (from my previous posts) it is either now or never! |

Nawa o, this woman don enter trouble oo. With just less than 72 hours of assuming office, the Nigerian airways guys want to the ministry to protest the non payment of their N45B arrears. This is a clear indication that PTAD might somehow be innocent after all. The issue now is for the ministry to release the funds. For Christ sake, what was Adeosun doing all this while?
