The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) today recovered from yesterday’s bearish session as the All Share Index closed at 32,381 basis points, up 0.56%. Year to date, the market is down 15.33%.

*Top Gainers and Losers.*

*Gainers:*

First Aluminum Plc was the best performing stock in today’s trading session. The stock closed at N0.33, up 10%.

Prestige Assurance closed at N0.57, up 9.62%.

Royal Exchange Plc rounds the top three gainers with a 9.52% gain to close at N0.23.

*Losers:*

Redstar Express Plc had the biggest decline closing at N4.50, down 9.09%.

Cornerstone Insurance Plc closed at N0.21, down 8.70%.

Standard Alliance Insurance also closed at N0.21, down 8.70%

*Top trades by Volume.*

Access Bank was the highest traded stock by volume as 84.9 million shares valued at N679 million were traded in 124 deals.

Zenith Bank was next with 16.4 million shares valued at N338 million traded in 330 deals.

No recommendation will come from me in the remaining part of this year, about 105 days to go. From next year during bonanza period, recommendation will start, based on the stocks 2017 final year result, with 2018 q1, q2 and q3 result.
Then political atmosphere will be at degree 99, with tension in all camp, then the principle of be greedy when others are fearful will be apply.

Yayira, if you are able to be disciplined and control your emotions, you are on to BIG things on the NSE.

Depending on the unit, I usually leave some small share as a sacrifice in some company, using my CSL stockbroking account to view it, some am seen -30%, some - 25%, my concern is to have more stake/ unit in any good company I want to follow for long time/ short time investment, depending on the situation on ground . Has it been I didn't pull out on time, I might be having sleepless night, I bail out before the gradual bailing out of foreign investors, and I will enter back next year before them, and will have more unit from the same amount.
