Sorry bro, but I'm not qualified to analyze those documents. You know the source of the documents and if you have any doubts, the Mexican embassy will clear them when you take the documents to them.

I live in the borderland so most of my students are already bilingual. Some were born and raised in the US but are now in Mexico either because their parents were deported from the US or because they simply chose to relocate to teach the kids Mexican culture or for some other reasons. So basically, I don't need to speak Spanish especially when the students are put in classes according to their English levels during English periods and not according to their grades. Nonetheless, you must be a graduate to teach English in both private and public schools in Mexico. You'll also need an English
Language proficiency certification with a good score and have the gifts of a good teacher. If you have TESOL or TEFL it'd be a bonus but the Mexican government each year also spend lots of money giving quality training to all their teachers. However, you don't need any of these qualifications to just put your adverts on facebook group pages and go to people's houses or in public places to teach them English. A Nigerian friend who did that when I arrived here earned more than I did. Learning Spanish is pretty much easy and I hardly see any Nigerian here who pays for it when you can just get yourself a girlfriend who can help you. There are some universities offering the course to their foreign students and the cost as at the last time I was informed is around 100$ for a whole month
Bro just name one of such universities I can apply to, I want to start a language course in Spanish in Mexico. I'll really appreciate that.

I don't know the skills you have bro. Here they look for skills and not just at your certificate. Getting a teaching experience and skills is the only way I can guarantee you a job here.
** Do they ask for prove of teaching experience? because I have been teaching in Primary schools for some years now with a degree in education.
** Is it compulsory you study English language or hold degree in English because my discipline is not in English.

Chief Benpedro,
Thank you for the selfless service of sharing vital information here and I must say that you're doing an amazing job.

I just checked and realized that the cheapest round trip ticket from Lagos to Mexico is $1,450 USD. That's kinda huge for someone who has savings in Nigerian Naira.

If I may ask, is there any cheaper round trip tickets you can recommend from any airline? If yes, please share the link.

Thanks a lot.

No, I don't. Lagos-->South Africa-->Brazil-->Mexico via South African Airlines. I read that's the cheapest route.

Go to South African airways office in Murtala Mohammed airport Lagos and book your flight. Flights are cheaper from that office.

@benpedro, would have loved to ask you this in private but it seems you want everything open. Please do the embassy confirm the statement of account presented to them from the Bank?

1. Barbing is considered a menial job here especially when their hair is totally different from ours.
2. I'm not God, so I don't know your possibilities or chances per say. You just quit doubting yourself and take a leap.
3. Yes, but you'll still have to leave the country after you get one.
